Mutsuki breaks down and tells Urie about his father and about how he’s afraid he’s just like him.

TW for discussions of sexual assault.

“Mutsuki, what’s wrong?” Urie runs into the training gym at CCG, led by two of the Oggai.

Sensei is screaming.

Sensei doesn’t know where he is.

Please help Sensei.

“Auuuughhhhh!” Mutsuki tears at his own flesh. Aura is desperately trying to stop him.

“Mutsuki!” Urie shoves Aura aside to shake him. “Wake up! It’s me! It’s Urie, your family grump!”

The Oggai snicker behind him. He ignores them.

Mutsuki’s eyes finally focus. “Urie!”

“What happened?”

Mutsuki looks around him. The Oggai look afraid and amused. They know he’s crazy now, don’t they? No Aura to save him now. He collapses into Urie’s arms. “I – I’m just like my dad!”

“Dad?” Urie looks pointedly towards Aura, who promptly leads the Oggai out of the building.

“Tell me, Tooru.” Urie sits next to Mutsuki.

Mutsuki whimpers at the use of his familiar name. It sounds so right with Urie. “I…Mayazumi yelled out ‘don’t go too far’ and I remembered something.”

Urie waits.

Mutsuki wrings his hands. “At the auction arc, that’s what Suzuya told me. Right before No-face detached a kagune and transformed it into Sensei so he could escape.” Urie knows he loves Sensei, but does he know this? “I stabbed it and tried to have sleep with it.”

Urie’s shocked into silence.

“I did to that kagune what my dad did to me. I raped my dad figure like my real dad raped me.” Mutsuki speaks in monotone. “I’m just like him. I am just like Torso. I am grotesque.”

Do something, imbecile! Urie pulls Mutsuki close to him. “No, Tooru, you’re beautiful. I -” He chokes up. “I am so sorry your father did that to you. And for what Torso did, too. If I could have endured it instead of you, I would.”

Mutsuki shakes his head violently. “No, Urie!”

Tooru.” Urie strokes Mutsuki’s hair. “Look at me, please.”

Mutsuki meets his eyes, defeated.

“You aren’t your father. If the rumors are true, you killed him because you knew somewhere that what he did was wrong. You lost control and re-enacted your suffering on a kagune, not a person. You recognize that. You’re not too far gone. You can always come back. I’m here for you. Saiko would be, too, if she knew.” Tears leak down Urie’s cheeks as he recalls framing out. “You’re not too far gone. You’re never too far gone.”

“Please,” Mutsuki begs, “help me.”

“I will. Tooru, I love you.” Urie holds Mutsuki close to his chest.

Hairu cares for an armless Ui and comes to love him.

Uikin Skywalker, eh, Nonny-Mouse? This turned out more angsty than anticipated. Oops.

“You didn’t tell me.” Hairu gapes at Ui. “You never told me!”

“I’m sorry,” Ui whispers, clutching his chest with his remaining arm.

“You lost your arm because you let Shio and Rikai die,” Hairu hisses.

She recalls how she threw her arms around him the moment she awoke from her death sleep, the moment she’d seen her beloved friend missing his arm. She recalls how she sobbed over Arima, and how Ui’d held her with his one arm and cried, too. How he’d mourned Squad Zero with her, shared her frustrations over Hirako’s treachery.

And now she doesn’t know who the real traitor is.

Hirako struck Ui to avenge their kids. Shio and Rikai.

Hairu wants to avenge them, too.

She kicks Ui between his thighs. “How could you?! They were children!”

Ui doubles over, retching. “I wouldn’t have hurt them!”

“But you didn’t stop Hajime from killing them. You might as well have,” she cries. “I – I – do you know how decapitation feels, Ui?”

He shakes his head.

“It’s momentous, but it’s a moment of sheer disbelief. You die while everything’s surreal. You don’t even have one moment to say goodbye.” Hairu wipes her eyes. “I don’t want that for anyone ever again. Not even ghouls.”

Ui’s sobbing now. “I miss them, too. H – hairu, I did it for you. I followed Furuta to get you back, b-because I loved you. I still do.”

“You love me?” Hairu wipes her eyes. She’s come to realize over the weeks of seizing her new life that she, too, loves her partner. “I love you too, but I would have rather you kept me dead than kill children.”

“I don’t know the right choice. Did there even have to be one? I’ve never known,” Ui confesses. “Never. You – you’re right to hate me.”

At least she’s alive.

“I know.” Hairu kneels before him. She runs her hands through his black bob. “I don’t want to waste my life on revenge or hate. I don’t live long, Ui, anyways. Why waste it hating the man I love?”

“Huh?”

“I’m sorry I kicked you in the balls. I won’t ever do that again.” Hairu’s eyes swim. “I have shitty secrets, too, if you’ll listen.”

“I will,” UI promises.

“They’ll hurt you more.”

“I can take it.”

She kisses his nose. “We can take it.”

Mutsurie morning after their first time together.

This is precious.

Mutsuki stirs and stretches, but his eyes remain closed. Urie watches the early morning sunlight dance across his face and savors every moment.

Mutsuki’s eyes fly open. “K – kuki.”

“Hi there.” Urie brushes a Mutsuki’s wispy green strands away from his forehead. “You’re beautiful when you sleep.”

“I…um…” Mutsuki gulps. “Are you feeling okay?”

Urie blushes and nods. He, uh, found sex funnier and most beautiful than he imagined. “I’m very happy. There’s no one else I wanted to do that with.”

“Me too.” Mutsuki remembers the feeling of Urie’s body entangled with his, the way Urie kissed him from his feet to the top of his head, the desire to have Urie cover every inch of his body with Urie. The feeling of being loved, the feeling that sex might truly be making love at last.

“No bad dreams?” Urie watches him carefully.

Mutsuki shakes his head. “No. Not with you.”

Urie laughs. “Thank you. It – it means a lot to me that you want…to do this with me.”

“It means a lot that you don’t think I’m gross.”

Urie gasps. “Tooru! You’ve never been gross. I, uh, was probably more gross because neither of us have any idea what the hell we’re doing. It’s fun though.”

“Yes, it is,” Mutsuki agrees, snuggling closer to Urie. He feels Urie harden, and instead of reacting with fear, he feels joy. “Kiss me.”

“Gladly.” Urie leans in close and allows Mutsuki to straddle him. “I wanted to make you pancakes for breakfast, but I realized I might accidentally poison us both.”

Mutsuki giggles. “We can go out.”

“We have plenty of time.” Urie pulls Mutsuki down for another kiss.

Now I need all the nekis reacting to chapter 125, please make it happen

hehehe.

Kuroneki’s face is cherry red. “S-s-sure, I guess.”

Omg is this actually happening? Suddenly, he gasps.

“Wait, hold on!” He grabs the child!nekis and covers their eyes. “Reaperneki, help me!”

“Okay, kids, time for sleep.” Reaperneki shoves cotton in the kids’ ears. “Someone blindfold them. Oh, wait, the rest of you are too wimpy.”

Shironeki cracks his knuckles as Reaperneki completes the kids’ sensory deprivation. “Let’s do this.”

“Wait, you bastard.” Reaperneki shoves Kuroneki to the floor. “Move aside, all of you. This is my turn.”

240 blubbers excitedly. Maybe. No one is entirely sure with 240.

“Be gentle,” says Haise, patting Reaperneki on the shoulder.

Reaperneki glowers at him. “Touch me again and I’ll kill you. This is only-Touka-touching-me-allowed time.”

She pulls off her bra, and all the adult Nekis gasp.

“They’re…soft,” whispers Kuroneki.

“Are we allowed to touch her?” Shironeki cries.

“You don’t have to be so gentle,” Touka whispers.

Haise’s face falls. Reaperneki grins.

“Watch a pro handle this.”

“Ba-wahhhhhh-grahhh-virgin!” wails 240.

“Good point.” Haise glares at Reaperneki. “We’e all virgins. We can’t, er…fuck this up.”

The Kanekis laugh before losing themselves in Touka-chan.

Masanori and 0 squad kids attempt to make a cake for Uihai day :)

“All right, you all. Listen up.” Shio leans forward. “We’re baking a funfetti cake for Uihai day.”

Masanori adores the day between his parent’s birthday. His parents are so sweet to each other and get presents for him, too. “Yesssss.”

“I brought all the colors of the rainbow.” Rikai holds up half a dozen tubes of frosting.

“I brought the mix.” Yusa hols up a box.

Shio pouts. “We should bake from scratch.”

“Shio, we’ll burn the house down and then have to explain to Ui and Hairu why their son is dead,” Yusa replies.

“What does dead mean?” Masanori squints.

Shio giggles. “Eh – ask your parents.”

“Not cool! I thought you were the fun uncle!”

Shio gasps. “My heart! No!”

“Tell him.” Rikai makes her way to the kitchen.

“Dead just means you’re not on earth anymore…you’re in heaven where there’s cake all the time and no one ever gets tired,” Shio says, hugging Masanori.

“Okay.” Satisfied, Masanori races after Rikai. Yusa just shakes his head.

When Ui and Hairu return, their apartment smells like burnt sugar.

“Masanori? Shio?” calls Hairu as she opens the door.

“Surprise!” yell four voices.

Masanori wears a virtual kakuja of rainbow frosting, and the Zero Squad children are equally smeared with icing.

Hairu laughs. “Well, well.”

“We baked you a cake!” squeaks Masanori.

“Well, Yusa insisted on taking it over. That was probably a good idea,” admits Shio.

“Then you, what, had a frosting fight?” Ui asks, hands on his hips. Their entire kitchen looks like a thousand Kanekis were released in it.

“Precisely,” Shio says happily.

Masanori beckons Ui down. He wipes green icing on the tip of Daddy’s nose.

“Now you’re one of us.” Shio nods. “No one can escape the icing.”

“I’ll be a ghoul for a moment, then.” Hairu uses her mouth to eat the icing off Ui’s nose. “See, all better.”

A scenario with Takizawa (Owl) x Kaneki/Sasaki

“I don’t think I really deserve it.” Takizawa looks at the cross in his hands.

“You do,” Kaneki says quietly.

Takizawa swallows. “Was Akira as insufferable to work with as always?”

Kaneki laughs. “She was actually amazing.”

“Oh, she was always that,” Takizawa agrees, climbing besides Kaneki. “In the academy, I felt like I was in her shadow. Got jealous after a while.”

Kaneki laughs. “You, jealous? Never.”

Takizawa experiences a brief moment of panic – is Kaneki making fun of him? But no, the king is smiling at him.

“I’m so tired,” Kaneki confesses.

“Maybe this isn’t my business.” Takizawa plays with the cross. “But maybe you deserve more than you give yourself credit for. You’re so focused on yourself, you’re gonna go insane. I would know.”

Kaneki frowns.

“No, really,” he insists. “You deserve more.”

“Like what?” Kaneki laughs, but he feels empty.

“Like friends. Like becoming the person you should be, not the person the world makes you into.” Takizawa  cackles. “I sound like Amon here, don’t I? Christ.”

“Sorry,” Kaneki says to the cross, and Takizawa laughs harder.

“Here, let me show you.” Takizawa leans forward and kisses Kaneki. “You deserve someone better than me to do that to you.”

“Wait, what?” Kaneki grabs his hands. He’s desperate, so desperate for affection. “Do you mean that?”

“Kinda. What of it?” Takizawa shrugs. “I’ve become part of Kaneki’s-crush-cliches. It’s fine.”

“You’re my first kiss.”

“Hot damn.”

“I liked it.” Kaneki squeezes Takizawa’s hand.

Furuta and Rize AU where they end up together and happy

We’re going to pretend Kaneki became a ghoul by different means, Furuta was in on Arima’s plans, and all the human-ghoul conflicts are mostly resolved.

“Fruit-chan, I’m hungry.” Rize pokes her husband’s nose to wake him up.

Furuta squints in the hazy morning light. “But you’re always hungry.”

“So are you. For me.” Rize smiles slyly at him and starts to climb out of bed.

“Don’t – leave – me.” Furuta tugs her closer.

“I have to eat. For myself and the baby,” Rize says, snuggling next to him.

Furuta chokes. “The what?”

“We’re having a baby. I found out yesterday.” Rize runs her fingers through his dark hair.

Furuta is terrified. “Wha – what if – I mean – I thought we used -”

“Mistakes happen, Fruit.”

“But what if I’m a bad father? We don’t have any examples,” cries Furuta. “A – arima is a poor excuse. Oh my god!”

Rize sighs. “While you’re collecting yourself, I’m going to be eating breakfast.”

—————————————————-

“He’s losing his mind, isn’t he?” Touka hands her a cup of decaf coffee.

“Completely.”

“Ken lost his head when we had our kid, too. He’ll be fine.”

But after an hour, Touka calls in reinforcements.

Kaneki begrudgingly enters Rize and Furuta’s bedroom. “Furuta?”

Furuta looks up from where he lies on the floor. His eyes are bloodshot.

“I think Rize’s supposed to be the nauseated one,” Kaneki jokes.

“Kaneki, I am barely able to have a happy relationship with Rize,” Furuta whispers. “I can’t have a family. I don’t know families.”

Kaneki sighs and sits beside Furuta. “Now, that’s not true. You know us. We consider you family.”

“How did you manage?”

“One moment at a time.” Kaneki nudges Furuta. “You’re gonna fuck it up. But it’s okay. One moment at a time.”

“I didn’t expect you to swear like that.”

Kaneki rolls his eyes. “Come downstairs and have fun.”

When Furuta emerges downstairs, Rize holds out her hand and spins him around. She might as well dance gracefully while she still can.

Furuta presses his lips to her. “We better hope he has my eyesight.”

“We better hope she has my lack of moles,” Rize shoots back.

“You love my mole,” he whines.

“I do.” Rize nibbles on it.

“Uh, there are children around.” Touka holds up her baby, but she’s smiling.

masanori wondering why hairu has a dakimakura of ui

“Mommy, why did you turn Daddy into a big pillow?” Masanori’s eyes are enormous.

“Huh?” Hairu turns around. “Oh, Masanori. That’s not Daddy. That’s my cuddle pillow that looks like Daddy for whenever I’m away.”

“Oh.” Masanori holds out his hands. “Can I hug it?”

“Yes.” Hairu hands him the pillow.

Masanori squeezes it. “It doesn’t hug back as well.”

“No, Daddy’s hugs are the best,” Hairu agrees.

“So are yours.”

Hairu grabs Masanori and lifts him on her hip. “Like this?”

She kisses his forehead.

“Yeah, like that.” Masanori leans over so Hairu nearly drops him. “Gotta get Daddy.”

Ui walks in to see Hairu, Masanori, and the his dakimakura enjoying a group hug.

Hajime, in addition to his canon fanboying of Kaneki’s strength and implied unhealthy attachment, has a crush on him, and the reason he’s mad Kaneki didn’t take him with him when Kaneki and Touka were getting married is because he wants to be at Kaneki’s side even if he can’t have him

This is one of the funniest asks I’ve gotten. I adore this!

Hajime crouches besides Kaneki’s limbless body. “Why didn’t you invite me to your wedding?”

Kaneki snaps back to reality. In his mind, all his past selves are flabbergasted. “Huh?”

“I wanted to marry you. It’s not fair; you could’ve at least invited me!” Hajime crosses his arms.

Furuta halts his walk away. Oooookay, this wasn’t the plan.

Furuta and Kaneki’s eyes meet each other, and for once, both of them share the same emotion: bewilderment.

“Hajime, are you feeling okay?” Furuta asks delicately.

“Isn’t my face beautiful, too?” Hajime cries, stroking his cheeks. “You were – you were supposed to be the ghoul who helped people – I wanted to be a part of that – but you’re just weak – and you don’t even care about me!”

He kicks Kaneki. “Take that! And that!”

“Hajime…I’m sorry,” Kaneki lies.

Furuta doubles over with laughter. “You’re a horrible liar, baby.”

Hajime summons his kagune and shoves it in Kaneki’s mouth. “Now you can’t lie.”

Kaneki bites down, and Hajime gasps. “He’s eating me!”

He feels kinda honored.

“Finally,” mutters Furuta.

But instead of a rampage, instead of flying body parts, Hajime keeps regenerating his kagune and feeding more to Kaneki.

Furuta waits. “I order none of you to attack him. Let’s see how far this goes.”

Kaneki throws back his head and laughs. His centipede kakuja is now complete.

“You calculated well, Furuta, I’ll give you that. But you weren’t counting on the power of love, were you?”

“We’re gonna troll you together,” Hajime says, rubbings hands together with anticipation.
