Urie and Shirazu where Urie is hella drunk and tells Shirazu that he actually loves the quinx squad and that they are like family to him. Shirazu is touched

“Shira – Shira – Sha-gu-gu,” Urie slurs, grabbing his Quinx friend.

“Urie, have you been drinking?” Shirazu struggles not to fall over.

“No.” Urie giggles.

Urie doesn’t giggle. Shirazu groans.

“Let’s get you to bed.” Shirazu half-guides, half-drags Urie into his room. “I’ll leave the trash by your bedside.”

“Sho nice.”

“I’ll get water, too.”

“Wait!” Urie snatches Shirazu’s wrist. “Do you know why I went out sloshing? ’Cause I love you all and I can’t handle it. I…I know I shay I hate you all, but I don’t and is very confushing. Mutshuki is cute and shweet and Shaiko is funny and you are jusht sho generoush and Haish is a good cook.”

“Urie, we love you too.” Shirazu swallows the lump in his throat and hugs his friend.

Urie promptly vomits on his shirt, but Shirazu doesn’t care.

The next morning, Urie staggers out of his room. “Huh? What time is it?”

“You’re hungover, so it’s sleepy time for you.” Shirazu has been waiting with aspirin.

“Huh. Why are you being nice? Do you want something?” Urie sniffs before crawling back into bed.

Shirazu curses silently that he didn’t press record.

Tsukiyama forces Naki to wear his suits full of colorful patterns!

“Naki, ‘White Coats’ is a cool name and all, but you’ve drained your style of lifeblood,” Tsukiyama declares, striding into GOAT headquarters.

“Are you serious, Tsukiyama?” Nishiki glares at him.

“Yes.” Tsukiyama grabs Naki. “Come be my friend for an afternoon. I shall show you the untold wonders of color.”

“Um – okay, bro!” Naki giggles. “Will you make me a rainbow?”

“Oh, I shall.” Tsukiyama strides into his room and rubs his hands together. “Ah, yes. I think a bright maroon would suit you well.”

“Maroon?” Naki squints.

“It’s a dark red. Like this.” Tsukiyama throws open his closet. He holds up a suit before Naki.

“Ooh, it looks like blood! Big bro would love this.” Naki grinned.

“You’re welcome to any of my suits. Best avoid the lime with your complexion, though.”

“Complec-shun?”

“Your skin color.” Tsukiyama nods. “Complexion.”

“Complexion, complexion, complexion,” Naki mutters to himself, throwing off his white jacket.

Someone raps on his door.

“Tsukiyama, Nishiki said you needed -” Miza freezes at the sight of shirtless Naki.

“Haise?” Suzuya Juuzou peers into the Chateau.

“Juuzou.” Sasaki Haise waves as he opens the door. “What’s all this?”

“It’s your birthday, right?” Suzuya holds up pudding. “I made this for you! Well, actually, Hanbee made it, but I helped!’

“Ooh.” Haise gestures for him to come inside. “Let’s share it.”

“I was hoping you’d say that.” Suzuya follows Sasaki to the kitchen. “He’s a good cook, like you!”

“I try.” Sasaki hands Suzuya a spoon. “Oh my, this is delicious.”

Suzuya cheers.

“You missed some,” Sasaki says when they’re finished.

Suzuya stops licking the bowl. “Where?”

“Here.” Sasaki leans forward to kiss his lips.

Suzuya squeals. He’s never felt a kiss before. It feels tingly and light and sweet. He kisses Sasaki back.

“Hold me,” he demands, and Sasaki obliges. Suzuya feels warm and safe in his friend’s arms.

“Sasaki?” he asks drowsily.

“Hmm?”

“Does this make you my boyfriend?” Shinohara would like Sasaki. Suzuya is sure of it.

“I hope so, Suzuya.” Sasaki kisses him again.

Urie strolls into the kitchen twenty minutes later to find Sasaki and Suzuya curled up together, sound asleep.

They’re awoken by the sound of Urie’s shriek.

Ui decides to intervene and save Shio and Rikai and runs away with them and Hirako and Yusa. (Don’t kill Hajime though please.)

Ishida might as well have beheaded me instead; it would be less painful am I right?

A scream catches Ui’s attention. He turns his gaze away from Yusa as Hajime’s kagune hurtles through Shio’s knee.

Rikai is diving forward, but another tentacle aims for her throat.

“I taught you better!” yells Ui, and then he stabs Hajime.

The Oggai’s eyes widen. Blood spurts from the child’s mouth. “You…”

I just stabbed a child. Ui wishes he were dead.

Hirako recognizes the look on Ui’s face – the dead look, the look he wore after Hairu was killed.

Shio scrambles back on his feet and hacks off Hajime’s kagune while Hirako tends to his leg. “Mister Ui, you saved me!”

“You do love us,” says Rikai. Shio throws his arms around Ui, who remains frozen.

“Ui, will you hear us out?” asks Hirako.

“I can’t leave him.” Ui watches Hajime writhe on the floor, growling and wailing in language that deserves its own spot in hell.

“Then let’s help Hajime.” Shio grabs the kid’s arm.

“Don’t touch me!” shrieks Hajime.

“Poke him,” hisses Yusa. Hajime nearly killed his best friends. His family

Shio acquiesces, and Hajime hisses. His hands are bound behind him, and Ui can’t believe those are his own hands doing the binding.

Whose side am I on? Who do I fight for?

He sees Shio and Rikai’s faces. Oh right, them.

“Let’s go.” Hirako lifts Hajime by his shoulders, and Ui takes his legs.

“Jesus fucking Christ put me down! AHHHHHHHHH!” Hajime howls. “Ui, you traitor! You son of a bitch! I hate you!”

“We don’t hate you,” says Shio sadly. “I wouldn’t have tried to cut off your head.”

“Liar!”

“You really think Shio would lie? You know you’ve had better training than that,” scoffs Ui.

Where is he going? Why is he following Hirako to treason? To hell?

He sees Shio, Rikai, and Yusa, feels Hajime thrashing against him. These kids will be the death of him, but honestly…

He can see Hairu doing the same thing.

Suzuhan on the snow!

“Hanbee, the snow is up to my waist,” Suzuya complains. Tokyo hasn’t gotten snow like this since, well, forever.

“Do you want me to carry you?” Hanbee knows the answer before he even asks.

“Yes!” Suzuya smiles mischievously. As soon as Hanbee lifts him, he topples them both into the fluffy powder.

“Snow angels!” Suzuya moves his arms, but the snow is too thick. It falls atop him.

“Suzuya!” Hanbee gasps, digging out his giggling leader.

“Let’s make a snowman! Please?” Suzuya gives Hanbee his saddest eyes.

Hanbee smiles, warm despite the snow. Suzuya has special faces he only makes for Hanbee, and Hanbee treasures every one.

Hanbee rolls a snowball larger and larger. Soon the snowman is as tall as he. Suzuya even parts with his candy to give it eyes and a mouth. “Let’s name it Suzuhan.”

“I like it.” Hanbee blushes, and Suzuya tackles him to warm his mouth with a kiss.

When Suzuya and Hanbee enter their Squad apartment, soaking wet and shivering yet flushed, Keijin Nakarai just shakes his head.

Can you do Kaneki/Sasaki returning to his CCG family and being forgiven by them and welcomed with open arms? I need this

I need open arms now too after that … knife to the heart that was 143.

Go, Touka had urged him. You can’t live a lie anymore

And here he is. Standing before the Quinx – Mutsuki is held back from his arms by Urie and Aura – before Suzuya Squad, before Nimura Furuta.

“I…I know I hurt you all.” He looks into everyone’s eyes, except Furuta.

“Yeah, and you hurt my aunt,” snaps Aura.

“It wasn’t him,” Hirako Take says from behind Kaneki.

“Huh?” Aura pales.

“It was me.”

Aura’s face blanches, and Shio, Rikai, and Yusa leap in front of their leader.

“Calm down, tall angry man,” begs Shio. Despite herself, Saiko laughs.

“Why?” Ui spits.

“Because Arima…Arima killed himself,” Kaneki whispers.

“That sounds convenient.” Iwao Kuriowa cocks an eyebrow.

“It’s the truth,” Yusa snaps.

“We all saw it,” says Rikai.

“Urie, Mutsuki, Saiko…I know I hurt you. The world has enough hurt in it; I need to stop the hurting.” Kaneki wipes his eyes. “I’m not on the ghoul’s side anymore. I’m not on the human’s side anymore. I’m on the side of working together.”

Furuta scoffs. “Are you buying this shit?”

“Work together, like in one-eyed ghouls? Not the failures we are.” Hsaio points to herself and Furuta.

“Exactly!” Shio beams at her.

“What?!” yells Higemaru.

“Haise…” Suzuya steps forward. “Just so you know, I’m supposed to kill you now.”

“Please don’t,” Mutsuki says, and Saiko prepares to launch her kagune.

“I don’t want to,” Suzuya finishes. How can he kill the only other person who looked at him with Shinohara’s eyes? “So if there will be more fighting, it won’t come from Suzuya Squad.”

“Or the Quinx,” Urie says.

“You can’t be serious.” Furuta laughs nervously.

“We are. Also, we actually like Haise, Director.” Hsaio plants her hands on her hips. “Let’s confess everything. Right here, right now.”

“No.”

“So there is something to confess?” Hirako challenges.

Furuta knows he’s caught, but Kaneki steps forward. “I’m not going to hurt you, Furuta.”

“Mamman!” Saiko launches herself into his arms, and Urie and Mutsuki follow with Suzuya.

“Oh, what the hell.” Aura joins the rest of the Quinx. So his Squad founder didn’t maim his aunt. He’ll settle a duel with Hirako later. Right now, he sees love pouring from everyone towards Kaneki Ken, and he wants some of this love.

You know which pairing I’ve seen nothing for except for occasionally in canon from one characters side? Roma/Kaneki. Could you write something for this rare but fascinating pairing?

“Why do you like him?”

“Hmm?” Roma blinks innocently at Yoshimura. “What’s not to like? He’s sweet and unique and exciting.” She pouts. “You’re really asking what I’m up to, aren’t you? You don’t trust me, Yoshimura.”

“I don’t.” Yoshimura raises his eyebrows and walks away.

“If you think having me in your little cafe will save my soul, you’re wrong!” Roma calls out, chuckling.

That evening, she heads home on her usual route when a commotion up ahead catches her attention. Suspecting entertainment, Roma leans around the corner of the alley to see the white-haired boy who makes her heart skip battling five larger ghouls.

He can handle himself.

But she wants him to notice her.

“Oh hey there, boys,” Roma calls innocently.

“Stay out of this,” snaps one of the men.

“Nah.” With a burst of energy, Roma unveils her kakuja. “This is SSS, and I’m damn proud of it!”

The ghouls flee, to her disappointment. She steps out of her armor.

“So.” Kaneki stares at her. “Didn’t peg you for the SSS type.”

“There’s a lot you don’t know about me,” Roma admits. But oh, how she yearns for him to know her.

“Tell me.” Intrigued – and somewhat fascinated by her kakuja, which is at once both terrifying and cute – Kaneki steps closer to her. “Coffee?”

“So long as it’s not Anteiku.”

“Sounds good for now,” Kaneki admits, shame coloring his face.

His eyes meet hers, and now his face colors for a different reason.

Roma knows this is likely a fancy of hers with no consequences. But…to answer Yoshimura’s nosy question, Kaneki makes her feel like she has a soul worth saving.

I had this thought for a plot bunny for a Bleach/Tokyo Ghoul crossover: What if Kisuke Urahara was Kaneki’s father? Like, he met Kaneki’s mom years before when she came to his shop, possessing high reiatsu for a human. They had an attraction that resulted in Kaneki later on. After a hollow attacked Kaneki when he was four, Kisuke replaced their memories of him to protect them and left. Can you do a scenario where Kisuke reunited with Kaneki (OEK) to apologize and tell him he always loved him?

Full disclaimer, I’m not super familiar with Bleach, so I hope my research provides you a sufficient scenario!

“Kaneki Ken.” A pale-haired man with a distinctive striped hat holds out his hand towards the One-Eyed King.

“Who are you?” Kirishima Touka steps in front of Kaneki. There’s something about his eyes that tells her who he is, but she ain’t ready to believe it.

“I’m…I am your father. Kisuke Urahara.” He swallows. He can see his shy, unsure nature in his son.

Kaneki says nothing, but Touka sees his hand fly to his chin. “I see.”

Kisuke brushes Kaneki’s hand with his, and the One-Eyed king falls over.

“What?” Touka cries.

Kaneki remembers his father tossing him in the air, catching him as he giggles. His father describing the decisiveness of good leadership. Claiming he wanted to be exactly like him.

And then he remembers Dad telling him he had to leave, that he was sorry. And Kaneki was just confused why Dad sounded angry instead of sad.

“You…” Kaneki inhales. “You were…”

Is Dad angry at him? He’s failed to be a good leader. He’s failed over and over.

“Kaneki, I love you and I’m so proud of you. Please, let me be your father again.” Kisuke doesn’t dare breathe lest he shatter this moment.

“I’m his wife,” Touka says.

Kaneki smiles tentatively.“Yes, she is. Touka, this is my father, Kisuke Urahara.”

Do you see how broken I am? Can you still love me?

Though Kaneki can’t quite let himself believe it, Touka sees in Urahara’s eyes that he can.

Mutsuki, redeemed, apologizes to Touka et al for what he did.

Mutsuki trembles in the back corner, afraid to approach the Queen.

Sensei’s wife.

She won, but really he won too, because Sensei is alive and the ghouls and humans are getting along, and the Quinx love him and so does Sensei.

But he still doesn’t want to face what he’s done.

Urie sees his discomfort and offers his hand.

Mutsuki takes it, hesitantly, and allows Urie to lead him up to a very pregnant Kirishima – Kaneki? – Touka.

So this is family, when your friends lead to to where you’re too scared to go. Mutsuki taps Touka on the shoulder.

She turns around. Her eyes widen slightly, but she waits.

“I’m – I’m sorry,” Mutsuki says, a tremble in his voice. “I said and did terrible things to you.”

“You have a terrible haircut yourself.” Touka winks. She leans over to hug Mutsuki, like Hinami to Akira. “You’re Ken’s family, so you’re my family too, okay?”

She pokes her stomach. “Besides, Junior’s going to need many uncles.”

Mutsuki smiles nervously. “You’d want me to be an Uncle?”

“Both of you!” Touka nods at Urie. “That good with you?”

“Absolutely,” Urie says, a catch in his voice.

Mutsuki tries to quell fears that he’ll dissociate and dissect the baby. “Um – wow. Thank you.”

“Mutsuki. You’re okay. Really. It’s not easy to face your past.” Touka sighs.

“Thank you.” Mutsuki’s eyes fill with tears. She’s being so kind, and he doesn’t deserve it. “I wish I could take it back.”

“I know. Ken knows, too.” Touka smiles.

“We all know. We all love you,” Urie assures him.

Mutsuki takes a shuddery breath. He’s never known a home, but perhaps one feels like this.
