Ayato is a giggly drunk who can’t walk. Go!

“You know – you’re not actually so bad, Kaneki.” Ayato giggles and falls at Kaneki’s feet.

Touka appears behind Kaneki, her face white.

“Touka! The One-Eyed King has four eyes now.” Ayato waves.

“I didn’t realize he’d drink this much,” Miza says. Naki nods, mystified.

Hinami, the only sober one of the drinkers, taps Ayato on the head. “Here, try to stand. I’ll help.”

“Hina, you’re the fucking best. The fucking. Best.” Ayato wraps his arms around her.

“I’m glad.” Hinami forces a grin.

“Touka, aren’t you going to give me a kiss good night? You know I leave tomorrow for the underground right?” Ayato dissolves into more giggles.

“And not a minute too soon,” she says dryly, pecking him on his head.

“Hina, kiss?” Ayato smiles.

“Not a chance! To bed with you!” yells Touka.

“We are going to become girls” but is the S3 and a guy tries to hit on Hanbee because damn those long legs

Hanbee nervously sips his soda, well aware he towers over most of the women here.

He’s totally getting the S3 outed. He can’t pass for a woman.

He’s not Suzuya, who has the attention of several men, or Keijin with his large eyes and sass. He doesn’t have Mizurou’s humor or Mikage’s flirtatious skill.

So he is flummoxed when someone whistled behind him.

“Hey girl. Can I buy you a drink?” A bespectacled man grins.

Is he supposed to say yes? “Uh – I’ll have a Pepsi.”

“That’s it?” The man nods eagerly. He orders a Pepsi for Hanbee and a vodka soda for himself. “I get it. Introvert. I’m not a fan of bars either.”

The man hands Hanbee his soda. “Are you an athlete? You have the longest legs I’ve ever seen.”

“Kind of,” Hanbee says.

“Kind of?” The man asks with amusement. “What do you do for work?”

“Uh – ”

“Hanbeeeeeee.” Suzuya prances over. “Come dance with me, silly. Let’s have fun.”

“Wait!” The man pulls out a business card. “I just want to say, Hanbee, you’re the prettiest woman I’ve ever seen, and I’ll be honored if you call me back.”

He’s so sweet, Hanbee almost feels like he should.

So the next week, once the case is wrapped up, the man meets Hanbee at a cafe for  the surprise of his life.

Sexual tension ft mutsurie in which mucchan just moved back to the chateau and urie cants stop staring at him and whenever they train they smh end up on top of each other covered in sweat and mucchan always seems to have a knife on uries throat 💦

“Why are you looking at me?” Mutsuki shivers.

Urie looks hurt. “I just…I’m glad you’re back, Mutsuki.”

“Oh. Okay.” Mutsuki smiles tentatively.

Urie trudges to bed. He loves Mutsuki and he wants him to know it, but Mutsuki is so fragile now.

How do I help? He wonders as he falls asleep.

He awakens at 2 am to the sound of someone training. Hell, not even Urie is this hardcore. Good investigators need sleep!

Urie slips downstairs to see Mutsuki practicing his knife work on shadows.

“Want help?”

Mutsuki jumps. “Oh! Sure.”

“Did you sleep at all?” Urie takes off his shirt. He’s solely clad in his boxers, and Mutsuki turns red.

“No. I’m afraid what I’ll see if I do.” Mutsuki hugs himself, even though the knife is still in his hands. “I have to be strong and sharp so I don’t hurt anyone else.”

“Mutsuki, you don’t scare me.” Urie steps closer and swipes Mutsuki’s legs out from under him.

But Mutsuki springs up faster than he calculated, and kicks Urie over. He straddles Urie, knife at his throat.

Don’t you dare betray me, body. Urie tries to focus on the task at hand instead of how close he is to Mutsuki. He twists Mutsuki’s arm away and scrambles free. “Ha!”

“Get ready.” Mutsuki leaps for him, and Urie barely dodges. But Mutsuki misses his next kick.

“Wow, you’re strong.” Urie wipes sweat from his brow and somersaults away. He rushes Mutsuki again, and this time Mutsuki’s bikaku catapults Urie to the floor.

“No fair!”

“Fights aren’t fair.” Mutsuki grins and dives atop Urie again. Once more, the knife presses his throat as they pant. Their bodies are sweaty and sticky and Urie thinks he sees flickering in Mutsuki’s eyes.

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing.” Mutsuki has just realized how comfortable he feels, even with a nearly naked man below him. “I trust you, that’s all.”

Urie’s expression softens. “Thank you.”

Mutsuki smiles back as he uses his bikaku pins Urie’s arms by his side. “I win.”

Haise and the Qs are out. They interview a sexy, curvy woman as she is a witness to a new ghoul case (let’s call it The Brain. Maybe it leaves the brain intact outside the body) and when they finish, Shirazu tries to ask her out. When she says no, Urie isn’t surprised, but what surprises the whole group is when the woman turns to Saiko and asks for her number

What a clever and funny ask!

“Now, can you describe the man who left with the victim?” Urie looks at his notes. This woman makes him nervous. She looks like a model.

Mutsuki doesn’t like how googly-eyed every other man seems around her.

“He had a knit cap on, and a mustache, I think.” The woman twists her flowing hair around her finger.

“What kind of mustache?” Shirazu asks, all too eager. Saiko shakes her head at him.

“Thin and scanty. No beard, though.” The woman leans over, exposing perfectly round cleavage to rival Saiko’s own.

Shirazu’s pitch rises. “And the hat? The color?”

“Hot pink. Not a color I’d expect a ghoul called The Brain to pick, but you know, who can say what ghouls think?” The woman looks sad. “Though you guys are probably the closest.”

“We’re still closer to humans,” Urie says stiffly.

“Of course! I just meant – the internal quinques.” Her eyes sparkle. “It’s the sort of magical talent I’d pretend I had when I was a kid.”

“Me too,” Saiko enthuses. The woman smiles at her.

“Back to the case,” Mutsuki says quickly.

When the woman is done, Shirazu shakes her hand in thanks. He has to beat Urie to this. “So, uh, Miss Megumi, would you want to grab…a candlelit dinner sometime?”

You dolt. Urie waits for her contempt.

“Oh.” The woman presses a hand over her heart. “That’s quite sweet of you, Mr. Shirazu. I don’t think so, but I’m sure some lady or lad will be very impressed with your considerate nature.”

Shirazu is pink-faced. “Okay.”

“You though.” Inspired, the woman turns to Saiko. “Can I have your number?”

Urie’s mouth drops, and Shirazu nearly faints. Mutsuki, however, grins.

“Certainly.” Saiko makes a big show of slowllllllly reading her number. “Call me.”

“I will!” The woman blows her a kiss and saunters off.

Urie shakes his head. “No. Fucking. Way.”

(because I’m still in denial) naki has something in his throat stopping him from breathing properly and therefore air cant get to his kakuhou. then he vomits out the mucus, giving miza a fright and then gasping for breath. miza starts crying and then he starts crying because she’s crying and she grabs him a dead oggai arm to eat so he can heal and theyre both a sobbing mess while miza says “I love you” several times I just need some fluffy stuff to make me cry bc I refuse to believe naki is dead

I want him back alive, too, Nonny-Mouse!

I can’t breathe. Naki gags. He claws at his throat. He’s going to die because – because he’s dumb and his body heals too fast!

Miza frowns. “You okay?”

Naki gags again, and then, to his relief, he vomits out mucus and a kagune shard.

Miza shrieks. “You were choking?”

“I couldn’t write it down,” Naki cries. “The skin healed over where their kagune stabbed me so I couldn’t breathe.”

Tears roll down Miza’s cheeks. “Don’t you ever almost die again.”

Naki starts to sniffle. “Why are you crying?”

“Because I love you! I love you, I love you, I love you, silly.” Miza grabs an arm and hands it to him. “Please heal yourself.”

Naki bites into it gingerly, but opts for sucking the blood over chewing. “Hurts to swallow.”

“I love you,” Miza says again.

“I love you, too.” Naki’s throat begins to feel softer, and now he’s ready to kiss her.

Some fluffy Shirazu x Saiko pleaseeeeee

“Shiragin, you haven’t finished your ice cream.” Saiko looks worried. “Are you worried about Haru?”

“I’m always worried about her,” he admits.

“Then the solution is to a) visit her, and b) bring ice cream.” Saiko nods. “Let’s do this.”

“You’re crazy,” Shirazu protests.

“What’s her favorite flavor? We’re getting at least a liter.” Saiko steps up to the counter. She always has room in her stomach for more ice cream.

“Rainbow sherbet.”

“It’s your favorite, too, isn’t it?” Saiko narrows her eyes. “It’s not technically ice cream.”

“Maybe.” Shirazu grins. “Should we really spend all this money?”

“For Haru? Obviously, the answer is yes.”

“Well, when you put it like that…” Shirazu knows he shouldn’t be slacking with Saiko today, but – but – it’s just one day, and it’s for Haru

————————–

“You two are a cute couple,” Haru says cheerfully, slurping down more sherbet from her hospital bed.

She looks so happy, Shirazu can’t regret playing hooky. Even though his stomach hurts from a sugar overload.

Saiko appears unfazed by their carbohydrate fest. “Ooh, are we?”

“The fuck?!” Shirazu exclaims, leaping to his feet. Haru’s insinuation only now sinks in.

“You’re dating, right?” Haru blinks.

“NO!”

“Hey! Boyfriend, sit down and kiss me,” Saiko demands.

“Excuse you?” Shirazu’s head spins.

Saiko folds her hands into a heart. “Kiss me and make your sister happy. And yourself.”

“Why would I? You’re – my coworker – and you -” Dammit, she’s cute. And nice. And sexy.

Shirazu leans over and pecks Saiko on the lips. To his surprise, his heart flutters and a thrill runs through him.

So he kisses her again. Haru cheers as Saiko whispers, “Thanks, Shiragin.”

Chikamaru AU where Maru discovers that Yoshitoki is actually a ghoul and literally doesn’t give a fuck about it and proceeds to smooch his longtime friend in front of everybody? And so Chika joins forces with Hide & co~

Yassssssss.

“Yoshitoki.” Marude Itsuki approaches Yoshitoki from behind. He holds out the gun, and he’s disgusted his hand doesn’t shake. Has he really been trained this cold?

“If this is a joke, it isn’t funny.” Yoshitoki says tightly. Why – why does Maru have a gun on him? Is it all about to end?

Marude holds up King Bileygr. “It’s not that I believe everything in this book. I checked all your meals and medical records. Nothing is off. But then I checked the Rc Scan Gates. You, Matsuri, Hsaio Ching-Li, Ihei Hairu, Arima Kishou – you all cause spikes in the scanners without detection.”

Yoshitoki says nothing.

“Is it true?” Are you – have you desecrated everything we’ve been fighting for?” Marude’s voice doesn’t shake, and he hates himself for it.

From the corner of his eye, Yoshitoki sees a man losing his purpose. I’m sorry, Maru.

“Why?” Marude whispers. “Was it all a lie? Chika?”

Chika. Yoshitoki wants to return to those days, to return to being just Chika and Itsuki, young men living full of potential.

“You were my friend, weren’t you? So why the secret?” Marude creeps closer, raising the gun.

Yoshitoki turns around, and he sees no anger on his face. He sees acceptance, sorrow even, and defeat.

He’s never seen Chika defeated before.

The gun finally shakes in his hands.

Marude can’t quite drop it, but he stumbles forward. Chika doesn’t move. If Maru wants to kill him, he will not blame him.

Marude’s face approaches. Yoshitoki steals himself.

And then Maru’s lips meet his.

Yoshitoki gasps in sync with the guards behind them. “What?”

“We were friends. If – if that wasn’t a lie, show me a way forward. Join Nagachika and I. You’re … you don’t have to live with this alone.” Marude laughs harshly. “I’m no good at kindness, you know. But I know if there’s anyone I want to show mercy to, it’s you. Call it love, call it idiocy, call it treason. I’m here to help.”

“You don’t know what you’re up against.”

Maru snorts. “Isn’t that the situation we officers often find ourselves in?”

Yoshitoki doesn’t believe in absolution for his crimes. But he hopes that someday, with Maru by his side, he can stop them from perpetuating. This is everything he’s ever wanted, and he’s scared to nod his head.

His friend loves him. His friend knows he’s a ghoul, and he kissed him.

Finally Chika can whisper, “Okay.”

Seiaki first time. (+ angst? ty and i love your writing)

Aw thank you!

“Takizawa.”

He’s known she’d find him eventually. But he’s been too scared to face a conscious Akira.

“Seidou?”

“Akira.” He feels like he doesn’t deserve to say her name. “Why?”

“Look at me.”

Begrudgingly – because he can’t refuse her, no matter how much he fears – Seidou turns around.

She looks beautiful and strong again. Her hair flows down her shoulders.

And he, he’s decrepit and disfigured. His hair is white. His skin is mottled. His soul, should he have one, is worse.

Her eyes flash. “Seidou, what did they do to you?”

He jerks. “It doesn’t matter.”

“It matters to me.” Akira approaches him. “Seidou, you’re not a monster. You never have been. You were a pain in my ass at the academy, but i liked that. We pushed each other to do our best.”

“I wish we could go back,” admits Seidou, still unable to meet her eyes.

“We can resume where we left,” Akira says, stepping closer.

Her face is inches from his. He’s scared she will, scared she won’t – and then he’s the one kissing her.

She kisses back, even biting him ever so slightly.

“Akira,” he whispers.

“Seidou, don’t run away any more. We’re strong enough to face the world together. You’re not alone.” Akira tightens her hold on him.

“Can I?” Tears stream down his face as she removes his shirt, along with her own. “You’re so beautiful.”

“I still find you beautiful yourself.” Akira wipes his tears away. He pulls her onto him, because for once – fuck it. Fuck it. He’s going to make love to the woman he loves, even if he dies soon, even if he can’t be redeemed. Because in this moment, he’s whole.

Akira knows their relationship won’t cure Seidou. He’ll have to bear his scars until the end – but she’s determined the end is many years away. For now, she wants to give her all to the friend she lost and found again.

Ever though about Tamaki and Nakarai?…. my smol blonde boi deserves joy

“Nakarai, what are you staring at?” Mizurou Tamaki hurries outside.

Keijin Nakarai looks back from his seat on the steps to their house. “The stars. Miyuki was right. You could lose yourself looking at them.”

“We’d find you,” says Tamaki.

Nakarai snorts. “Only if I want to be found.”

“You know you’d miss us!” Tamaki slaps Nakarai’s shoulder. “You know it!”

“All right, all right, I would, okay?” Nakarai laughs.

“Good.” Tamaki elbows Nakarai all the same.

“Do tha again,” Nakarai warns, “and I’ll tickle you.”

Tamaki gasps, recalling how just last week they introduced Suzuya to the horrible concept of tickles. “You wouldn’t dare!”

You know I would.” Nakarai grins.

“Can I kiss you?”

“What?!” He spurts.

“I mean – Nakarai, you – I like you.” Tamaki lowers his eyes. “That’s why I followed you out here.”

“Looking at the stars, we have our first kiss. Does this make us star-crossed? You better not die on me.” Nakarai can’t believe it, but finally – “So that’s a yes!”

Their lips meet, and Nakarai feels like he’s started a great adventure and Tamaki feels wanted and –

And then both hear Suzuya, Hanbee, and Mikage giggling from the door behind them.

A normal day off for the original Quinx squad, but the difference is, Urie is walking around in a puffy 50s style black skirt that goes down to just above his knees. Everyone notices how awesome it looks and makes a big deal but to him, it’s just something comfortable that Suzuya suggested :)

“What the hell?” Shirazu goggles at Urie’s puffy skirt.

“That looks comfortable,” says Saiko.

“Wow, Urie.” Mutsuki blushes. Something about Urie transgressing gender boundaries warms his heart.

“Not wearing fabric tight around your legs – it’s surprisingly comfortable.” Urie pirouettes before the Quinx Squad. “Suzuya suggested something useful for once. He’s usually just suggesting candy.”

“That, too, is useful,” says Saiko.

“It is not,” Urie snaps, his sour self once again.

“Urie, what are you wearing?” Sasaki drops the food he’s been cooking.
