Saiko and q-squad are preparing to fight the dragon thing when they run into touka’s squad in the battlefield. After realizing they were from GOAT, Saiko frantically asks for any news regarding Haise Sasaki, his whereabouts and if he is safe. Touka understands she means well and with a heavy heart has to say that the giant thing they have to fight is him.

“You’re GOAT? So you’re not behind this?” Saiko cries. Hsaio and Higemaru aim their kagunes towards Touka, the tearful Gourmet, Yotsume, and Serpent. Dawn emerges, and no one has a handle on this giant creature yet.

And now – now ghouls are coming to help, and as momentary leader of the Quinx Squad, Saiko is perfectly willing to accept this.

Furuta was behind this,” Touka says furiously. To her surprise, none of the Quinxes seem all that shocked.

“Have you seen Haise Sasaki? Where is he?” demands the blue-haired girl.

Touka’s face falls. This girl must be… “You’re Yonebayashi Saiko.”

“How do you know me?” Saiko scowls.

“I’m close to Kaneki,” Touka says, her eyes filling with tears.

“So where is he?” asks Higemaru.

“Is he safe?” Saiko asks.

The Gourmet lets out another wail, and Yotsume begins crying, too.

“That is Kaneki.” Touka’s voice is fierce. None of the Quinxes think to doubt her.

Saiko catches her breath. Her voice trembles. “I don’t…I said I don’t want anyone to die anymore.”

“We rescued Urie. We can do this,” Hsaio says. Sure, this thing is nothing like a framed-out Urie, but bring Urie back to sanity was supposed to be impossible too, right?

“Please let us help,” whimpers the Gourmet.

“We call can. Because we’re going to rescue Maman,” Saiko snaps.

Touka smiles slightly. She likes this girl. And, just maybe, she feels a spark of hope.

Accidentally put this in the Submission box because I’m a bit of a tool. Can we see EarlyRE!Haise having nightmares about his past life, and the Quinx Squad hearing and going to comfort him?

Aw, you’re not a tool! You’re awesome!

“Kill me, please!” Haise cries out.

Choose! Choose! Choose!

“Choose my son!” begs the woman.

But how can he let her die?

“Kill me,” Haise wails.

“Sensei?” A voice interrupts Haise. Someone’s shaking him awake, and he feels hands on his wrists, untying him.

Haise leaps from the chair – and realizes he’s sitting up in bed, at the Chateau. There’s no pleading mother and son. There’s no torture.

Mutsuki has his hands on Haise’s shoulders, and Shirazu’s clutching Haise’s hands. Saiko runs up to him and throws her arms around him, and even Urie is there, hanging back in the corner.

“Are you okay, Maman?” Saiko wipes Haise’s tears with her pigtails.

“Really?” Shirazu demands.

“Yes!” she shoots back.

“Do you want to talk about it?” Mutsuki asks, his eyes wide.

Haise shivers. “It felt so real.”

“Horror always feels more real, doesn’t it?” Urie shrugs. “You’re not alone, I guess.”

“I had to choose between killing a mother and their child.” Haise’s eyes fill again. “I just wanted him to take me instead, but he wouldn’t.”

“That’s horrible!” Shirazu gasps. “And way too nice of you. I’d choose the kid.”

“But wanting to sacrifice yourself – you’re so sweet, Maman.” Saiko hugs Haise again. “We’re here. None of us will let you get hurt.”

“I’m not that lucky,” Urie says, with a smirk to assure Haise he’s joking.

“Come on. Go back to sleep. We’ll be here.” Saiko snuggles at his feet, and Shirazu flops by his side.

Mutsuki hesitates.

“It’s okay,” Haise says, and Mutsuki’s face blooms. He settles besides Haise’s other side and holds out an arm to Urie, who joins after a moment.

And though Haise still fears his mind, at least if he dreams again, he can pretend the Quinx are fighting with him.

A Son Gohan/Kaneki Ken scenario where Gohan teaches Ken that, no matter what, hope always exists and that it will always be there (“as surely as the sun will rise again”), just like he will be for him.

“So you’re essentially a half-breed, too.” Gohan smiles.

“Y-yes.” Kaneki starts. “Is that a tail?!”

“It is!” Gohan grins and allows Kaneki to touch it. “I’m half Saiyan. I was expected to be a fighter like them, but I’m not so good at that. I’d rather study.”

“Me too.” Kaneki shakes his head. “I’m a terrible person.”

“Why? For being half-species? That’s part of who you are.” Gohan shrugs. “It’s fine. Don’t give up because you’re different, Kaneki.”

“But – how do I move on when one can understand me?” Kaneki asks.

“I can understand you. And Touka can understand your ghoul side. Hide can understand your human side. The Quinx can understand the ‘both worlds’ part. You’re not alone, despite how you feel.” Gohan smiles. “And, by the way, it’s okay to dislike fighting, so long as you don’t use that dislike in a cowardly fashion.”

Kaneki nods, still patting the tail. He likes the fur. Why couldn’t he have been turned half-Saiyan?

“As surely as the sun will rise again,” says Gohan, “know that hope – for anything – always exists and will always be there.”

Kaneki isn’t sure he knows that, but maybe, if he can keep talking to this weird person with a tail, he will learn.

Masanori’s Christmas adventure!

“MOMMY! DADDY!” Masanori races into their room. “Santa came!”

“Oh, did he?” Hairu smiles sleepily. She checks her phone. It’s 5 am. Hell.

“He did!” Masanori bounces up and down. “I was scared he wouldn’t like ghouls, but apparently he still thinks I’m nice.”

“I’d be more afraid of the naughty part than the ghoul part,” Ui teases, tickling his son.

Masanori shrieks. “Come help me open my presents!”

“Sure.” Hairu had planned to bake melon buns before the child awakened, but she clearly overestimated his excitement. She never got to celebrate Christmas in the Garden, though, so she’s secretly happy he woke up so early.

“Here you go.” Ui plops a Santa hat on Hairu’s head and a stocking on Masanori’s.

“What about you?” Hairu shivers with glee.

Ui shoves a bright red nose on himself. “I’m Rudolph.”

Their family dances downstairs to the Christmas tree.

Continuation of Takatsuki Sen’s Black Goats egg from your original answer to my request? I loved it so much!

Thank you ❤

“Look,” says his fiancee. Mitsu. Her name is Mitsu, because she’s his bright light. “I know you think you’re going to infect me and kill everyone.”

“Mother won’t let me go,” he mutters.

“But that man you just killed was trying to kill me,” says Mitsu. “There’s a difference between killing for pleasure, like your Mom, or killing to defend someone else.”

“It’s still killing,” he mutters. And the worst part is, he worries the man was right. The man who swung at Mitsu, saying he couldn’t let her forgive the family of the Black Goat, couldn’t let them move on like nothing had happened.

And now he’s just like Mother. A killer.

“You’re overly worried about violence, and with good reason,” says Mitsu. “But you’re not violent unless you have to be. You are not your Mother.”

Maybe she’s right. Maybe his perspective is distorted, because he sees everything as more violent than it is. He can’t even leash a dog without crying.

The police let him go. But he’s haunted by the violence.

“They say you picture blood on your hands when you kill someone. I never have,” he tells Mitsu. “I picture blood in my heart.”

If she’s disturbed, she doesn’t let on. She kisses him instead.

Escape her Room.

He takes Mitsu by her hands. Is she right? Is he so scared of becoming violent, his inaction results in violence?

If he hadn’t killed, Mitsu would be dead. He loves Mitsu. He needs her alive.

“I want to value all life,” he confesses. “But right then, I valued yours above his.”

“That’s not inherently wrong,” Mitsu suggests.

Maybe. He’s not sure.

But she makes him feel happy, and that’s a feeling he’s never known before, even if his happiness shouldn’t be more valuable than another’s.

It’s that night that he decides to escape, to take Mitsu to a fancy hotel and consummate their relationship like she’s wanted for a long time.

As she kisses the sweating skin over his heart, her eyes sparkle. “I see nothing but normal blood here.”

He dares to hope that is true.

Kaneki and Touka engage in a heartfelt conversation and Touka decides to give one of his incomprehensible books (a Takatsuki Sen book) a try despite her dislike of classic lit and Kaneki helps her with reading the parts she has trouble with

This is so freaking cute, I’m answering it way early.

Touka gulps at the book in her hands. Monochrome of Rainbows.

She figures she could start with short stories and work her way up to Dear Kafka or The Black Goat’s Egg

But why go easy on herself? That’s not the way of Kirishima Touka. Or is her name Kaneki Touka now?

Whatever. Last night Kaneki was blathering on about teaching their little sprout Takatsuki Sen’s stories, and she realized she might miss out if she doesn’t read it.

So here she is.

Touka grabs King Bileygr, the most recent novel. This one supposedly fictionalizes CCG’s history. Reading it is helpful to GOAT’s cause, right?

But after one chapter, her head is throbbing. What is the meaning of Takatsuki’s poetic language? There has to be some meaning. But she can’t get it.

Why couldn’t Kaneki love biology or something?

“What are you doing?” Kaneki frowns as he re-enters their room.

“Reading. What’s it look like?” she retorts.

“How do you like it?” he asks eagerly.

“Uh – why does she phrase her sentences like this?” Touka narrates an example. “It seems unnecessary.”

“Ah! I’m not entirely sure, but I think she puts the clauses where she does to create a sentence where there’s an inner part and an outer part, almost reflecting the prison she’s writing about on a sentence-level.” Kaneki hurries over. “What part are you at?”

“The second chapter,” Touka admits.

“That’s actually a very important chapter. The little details come back to matter much more later. Want help with the words?” Kaneki hovers over her shoulder.

“Yes.” Touka smiles up at him. For a second, she feels like everything is normal, like they’re back in Anteiku.

He just better not name their kid Bileygr.

Yay ask box is open again! Could you possibly do hsiao x saiko nsfw w some angst maybe? Thank yo uso much for all you do!

Always. Hsaio x Saiko needs more love.

“Saiko,” Hsaio Ching-Li awakens in the middle of the night to see her friend sitting at the foot of her bed.

Hsaio’s eyes still smart from crying. Tonight she confessed everything to Saiko, Urie, and Higa. They know she was part ghoul before she was a Quinx. They assured her love her, but she can’t quite believe it.

“Hi.” Saiko straightens up. “I just thought you might not want to be alone.”

“Thank you.” Hsaio opens her arms, and Saiko hugs her.

“You know, I really don’t care. You’re my friend.” Saiko hesitates, an uncharacteristic move for her.

“What?”

Saiko brushes her lips against Hsaio’s.

Hsaio gasps. “What?!”

“I told you, I love you, Hsaio.” Saiko smiles.

Hsaio shakes her head. “But – like that?”

“Does that scare you?”

“A little.” Hsaio tackles Saiko in a ferocious kiss.

“I’ll take it you agree.” Saiko giggles.

“Yes,” Hsaio breathes. She just – she hardly let herself dream – but when she did, it was of Saiko.

“Can I?” Saiko’s hands hover over Hsaio’s chest.

She nods and moves her own hands to Saiko’s breasts. “Damn, I’m jealous.”

“Pah, and I’m jealous of you, too, silly.” Saiko pulls Hsaio down onto the bed. They lie facing each other, their hands exploring each other’s bodies.

Hsaio used to consider herself fortunate to have been born a failure, destined to die young. Because then she couldn’t be used to continue the family line by sleeping with men.

But she never dreamed she would be this fortunate – to have Saiko’s hands inside her, to be inside Saiko.

“I love you, Saiko,” she says.

“I know.” Saiko winks.

Mutsuki decides to share Kaneki with Touka and Tsukiyama, because he realized being violent and jealous won’t win him his sensei’s love

Hahahahahahahha, oh my.

“Sensei.” Mutsuki tugs on Kaneki’s arm. “Shuu and I have an idea.”

“It’s a great idea, if I do say so myself,” Tsukiyama adds.

Touka scowls. “Oh really?”

“We’ll share you,” Mutsuki says eagerly.

Kaneki drops his coffee. “Pardon?”

“I don’t think being jealous helps. Tsukiyama told me his story, too.” Mutsuki hesitates, still kinda hoping the fact that he didn’t want to devour Kaneki puts him slightly ahead of Tsukiyama.

“Does that mean you help us with child-raising?” Touka asks.

“Absolutely.” Tsukiyama nods.

“Sounds good to me.”

“Just please let us be part of your life,” Mutsuki says.

Kaneki’s face melts. “Mutsuki, you’ll always be part of my life. You too, Tsukiyama.”

Tsukiyama exclaims in French and grabs Kaneki in an embrace. “We’ll be like our own little family!”

I’m not sure if I asked this yet but: Mutsuki/Kaneki version of tg re chapter 125, with Kaneki feeling insecure of his scaly red arms like in the manga and Mutsuki undresses unashamed for the purpose of making Kaneki less self unconscious. Kaneki learns Mutsuki is biologically a girl here when he sees the binder and tells him he doesn’t have to take it off while still referring to him as a guy. Mutsuki says he can and Kaneki fumbles with binder like with Touka’s bra and Mucchan takes it off

Aw this is cute.

“My arms aren’t healing very well,” Kaneki admits, offering up his scaly red skin for Mutsuki to see.

Mutsuki’s eyes show no disgust. “Let me show you something, Kaneki.”

Kaneki smiles. He loves the sound of his real name on Mutsuki’s lips.

Mutsuki yanks off his shirt with ease, because he always wears loose clothing.

He’s covered in scars, which hurts Kaneki. “Oh, Mutsuki…”

He pauses. “What is that?”

Mutsuki swallows. He can’t bear to look Kaneki in the eyes. “It’s a binder. Because I am biologically female.”

Kaneki gasps. “Mutsuki, why didn’t you tell me? Hey, please look at me.”

Mutsuki forces himself to meet Kaneki’s eyes.

“You’re my boyfriend. I’m not going to reject you because of who you are. I’m with you because I love who you are.” Kaneki’s eyes glisten.

“You still called me your boyfriend.” A lump swells in Mutsuki’s throat. “Thank you.”

“You are.” Kaneki reaches for the binder. “But…may I?”

Mutsuki nods, but Kaneki fumbles for a full minute. “Uh – ”

Mutsuki giggles. “Here.” He pulls it off, and Kaneki kisses the center of his chest.

He helps Kaneki remove his pants, and he removes his own. Kaneki’s kisses wash over him. Every scar he’s hated is drowned by one kiss.

He will do the same for Kaneki. Mutsuki plants his mouth on the scales. Kaneki is beautiful, and he will show him so.
