*comes out of crying corner* You know there’s a possibility Hairu might have appeared in a panel this chapter? The crouching person with a black hood resembles her calendar page which pretty much confirmed her revival. Ishida’s most likely gonna cliffhanger the shit out of that panel and not reveal who it is for who knows how long, so maybe you’d like to give us an angsty Uihai reunion scenario? *goes back to crying corner*

*crawls out of tokyo ghoul hell/crying pit* Ishida? Cliffhanger? -___-

*slithers back into tokyo ghoul hell/crying pit to wail about Hairu some more*

Come to TG hell; our tears have extinguished all the flames.

Hairu clamps one hand over her kakugan eye and makes her way into the 24th Ward tunnels. She can smell flesh – but no – she’s human, she’s mostly human, she won’t give in.

But she can also smell Furuta, and she’d like to sink her teeth – no, a sword – into him.

A scene of carnage awaits her. Blood, entrails, children who are just husks swallowed by that dragon kagune.

Hairu sniffles and ventures further.

She screams. Shio – and Rikai – headless bodies –

She could eat the bodies.

No! Hairu slaps herself. Shio! Shio, her cousin! How could CCG do this?

She follows the blood to the smell of Furuta and – cigarettes.

Hairu peeks around the corner to see a dejected Furuta, Ui leaning on Hirako, and Yusa’s tear-streaked face.

Ui’s not sure who screamed first, Furuta or Yusa.

But what he does know is that Hairu is screaming right back.

“Who killed Shio?” she growls.

“Hajime. He was twelve.” Furuta shrugs.

Hairu leaps at Furuta. Her teeth snap – no, wait –

“What did you do to me? Why did you do this?” she howls, backing away to kneel before them all.

“Hairu!” Ui launches himself at her. She looks up – and his heart stops at one kakugan. “A quinx?”

“No, a half-ghoul,” Hairu snarls. “Ui, did you – you knew about this?”

“I – it was the only way. I needed you back,” he pleads.

“Was this worth it?!”

Ui’s face crumbles. How can he be truthful without making her feel worse? “Y – yes.”

“No. The answer is no.” Hairu sobs.

Yusa wraps an arm around her. Ui’s too scared to dare.

“Ui, I don’t know if this is Kanou or dragon. But i know they didn’t do anything that wasn’t already in our blood,” Yusa says. “Right, Furuta?”

Furuta winces.

“What do you mean?” Ui looks scared.

“We’re all half-ghouls. Deemed ‘failed experiments,’ more human than ghoul,” Hirako says stiffly.

“No!” Ui looks into Hairu’s pooling kalgan, into Yusa’s sorrowful face, into Furuta’s face which bears just the slightest flicker of shame.

Ui recoils. “What is this?”

“The Washuus,” Furuta mumbles.

“Arima, too.” Hirako eyes Ui. This spoiled brat better be nice to Hairu real quick.

Ui stutters. “I – I don’t – it can’t – ”

“Just kill me!” Hairu cries suddenly. “I’m hungry, Ui. I’m going to have to eat people. Kill me.”

“But I want you alive.” Ui begins to cry. He holds out his forearm. “You can eat me if you like.”

Hairu sobs. “I don’t wanna eat you, Koori.”

Ui wraps her in a hug. “I want you alive, ghoul and all. Just – please – someone -tell me what’s happening?”

“Furuta’s good at stories, let’s let him tell.” Yusa scowls.

“Tell or we’ll feed you to her,” Hirako snaps.

Hairu shakes her head. “I don’t even want to eat him.”

“It’s not like I taste bad!” Furuta snaps back. He pauses and unscrews a vial. “Here. Rc cells. Concentrated. They help.”

Hairu gasps and, for once, Ui wonders if he shouldn’t regret following Furuta.

But no. He does. He has to.

But he has Hairu, too. He looks around the cavern left by dragon. He has to survive and live with this, just as Hairu will.

So I just found your blog again (Masanori is your UiHai OC, right? He’s adorable!) aaaaaaaannnnnndd mayyybbe ayahina fluff hcs from in between og tg and :Re?

Awwww thank you! Masanori is @hamliet‘s OC whom she let me borrow for one ask, which has since morphed into dozens because the little hellion is irresistible.

Ayahina:

– When Hinami and Ayato entered their first fight together, she blurted out, “Look, we both have wings!” at the sight of his ukaku. That’s when he first felt a spark.

– Ayato vacillated between hating how kind she was – because it made him insecure – and deifying her for it. He settled on deifying.

– Hinami once gave him a birthday present. She remembered Touka telling her the date a long time ago. Ayato swears up and down he did not cry, but he was found punching a laughing Seidou later that day, so no one knows for sure.

– Tatara once tried to give Ayato “the Talk.” It started with “kids are bad when we’re in a war soooooo” and ended with Ayato covering his ears and screaming.

– Hinami roped Ayato into setting up a date between Naki and Miza for Valentine’s Day. She didn’t tell him why she needed red ribbons and pink heart balloons, but he bought them for her and then found himself using his kagune to attack the ribbons to the ceiling.

– Ayato once broke down – and by breakdown, we mean a tantrum – over his guilt, but denied it fiercely when Hinami confronted him. She hugged him regardless, and he appreciated it.

– Ayato once pretended to be sick so she would make him more coffee. She suspected the truth, but obliged.

Can you do a cute fluffy fic about Touka styling her hair the way she did in the omake and Kaneki finds it adorable? Thanks!

“Kaneki,” Touka whispers.

“Mmm?” He rolls over. He had just drifted to sleep.

“My hair is the same as the Director’s.” Touka looks horrified. “I had a dream you couldn’t tell us apart!”

“What?!” Kaneki shrieks.

Touka turns around. Slowly, she lifts her hair and, with the angst of a thousand Kanekis, with the determination of a thousand Furutas, pulls it into a pineapple ponytail.

Kaneki’s eyes resemble saucers. “You look adorable, Touka-chan.”

“Do I?” She smiles and pats the ponytail.

“Yes.” He sits upright to tug on it. “I love it.”

Touka beams at him. “Why don’t you show me how much, hmm?”

When they leave their room the next morning, Nishiki yells. “Why the fuck are you growing a pineapple as well as a baby, Touka?”

“I like it.” Kaneki draws Touka closer to him.

“Oh, sure, trust the white-haired kid’s fashion sense,” grumbles Nishiki.

Touka waves the Aogiri kids over.

“Oh no,” says Nishiki.

A tsunami of children tackle him. His glasses are removed, and he can feel them styling his hair. “Touka! Get back here! I take it back! TOUKA!”

I’m growing to like Matsuri/Urie. Could you write a scenario where Urie returns Matsuri’s feelings, in his own Urie-ish way?

“I’m sorry we couldn’t get here in time.” Matsuri doesn’t know what else to say, but he knows Urie needs comfort.

“Sorry? Sorry doesn’t cut it!” Urie doubles over, fighting back tears. Kuriowa Iwao’s body is lifted onto a stretcher, and a sheet pulled over it.

Panic hits Urie. Fuck. “Someone has to tell Takeomi and Yoriko!”

“I’ll do it,” says Matsuri. Dad was always inviting him to learn how to break bad news, and he always refused, because it hurt too much. But for Urie, he’ll face that pain.

“No – I should.” Urie wipes his eyes.

He’s covered in blood and bruises. Matsuri sighs. “Then I’ll go with you.”

“Fine,” Urie snaps. He stalks off to their jail, from which Takeomi and Yoriko will promptly be freed only to find Iwao dead.

“I’m a hypocrite, I’m a damn hypocrite,” Urie mutters.

“Any more than being a ghoul and playing human? Being gay and playing straight? Loving your dad and playing hatred?” Matsuri gulps. “Because I’ve done all those.”

“Yes, Matsuri, we know.” Urie pauses. “Wait what? Ghoul?”

“So you know I had feelings for you?” Matsuri adjusts his glasses. “I’ll stop if you don’t want me to. But I’ll accompany you here and support you in any way I can.”

“I – ” Now is not the time for Urie to think of this.

But someone loves him.

Urie can’t process this right now. All he can say is,  “You don’t have to stop.”

KuroSuzuya leaving random gifts at Ghoul Seidou’s hideout (anonymously) after finding out where he has been staying, because he knows his old bud is alone and lonely af. Then one day, he leaves a puppy as another gift and letters with terrible sh*t memes. Seidou figures out who the gifts were coming from and gets really annoyed but feels happy to have someone caring for him again, even if it was from that lil punk Juuzou.

Awwwwwwww.

Seidou’s grown accustomed to the gifts left outside his abandoned apartment. At first he feared CCG would show up, that this was a sign of the end, but no one has arrested him.

He doesn’t know if he feels relieved or disappointed.

He is, however, increasingly annoyed with the gifts. Some, like today’s Skittles, he can’t even fucking eat.

He tears open the bag to stomp the candy to bits, but to his surprise, he finds colorfully-coated of Rc cells instead.

Now thoroughly suspicious, Seidou chews on the “candy.” He pretends he’s back with Hoji, with Akira and Amon, maybe with that brat Suzuya…

Seidou spits out the candy.

Suzuya likes candy.

No, it can’t be.

The door rings again, and Seidou yanks it open. No one is around, naturally.

Only Suzuya could do this.

Seidou does, however, shriek at the puppy. Memes of doggos are encased in its collar, and Seidou almost wants to run from the creature.

He’s too evil.

“Get back here, you little shit, Juuzou,” he snaps instead.

Suzuya drops down from his roof. “Did you like the candy? And the pupper?”

“It’s name is Hoji.” Seidou clutches it to his chest. “Why the fuck do you care about me?”

“Because I used to be crazy like you, too.”

“Gee, thanks.” Seidou scowls.

“I want you to tell me how you became a ghoul.” Suzuya pauses. “If Madam had turned me into a ghoul, I would have eaten people, too. I want to know more.”

“Do you really?” Seidou laughs.

“Yes. Besides, I wouldn’t have given you a puppy if I gave up on you.” Suzuya prances into Seidou’s apartment, brandishing his own bag of Skittles.

(A semi-crossover with Hellsing) The Kaneki siblings (Kaneki, Suzuya and Rin together!!) find documents from their father and discover their ancestral roots extend outside of Japan, all the way to Romania and their many greats grandfather is none other than the Impaler, the prince of darkness, and Count himself, Vlad Tepes, aka Dracula (Alucard in Hellsing)

The Kaneki Trifecta®

“Kaneki, look at this. Suzuya, get your ass over here, too.” Rin waves them to a table in Re.

“What are those?” Suzuya’s eyes widen at so much reading.

But Kaneki is already devouring the papers. “Where’d you find these?”

“I’ve been concocting my own little investigation into Mom.” Rin sighs. “Didn’t it ever strike you as strange that one of you was kidnapped, and the other made into a half-ghoul? Like, that can’t be a coincidence.”

“And?” Suzuya nervously nibbles on the chocolate squares Kaneki hands him, one after another.

“We’re not entirely Japanese. We’re…Romanian?” Kaneki frowns.

“Like vampires?” Suzuya grins.

“No, but actually.” Rin rifles through the documents. “Vlad Tepes is our ancestor.”

“Who?”

“Dracula,” Kaneki says, surprised. He loves that book.

“Do you think there’s something special in our blood, then?” Rin asks.

“Maybe?”

“Mom’s side checks out clean.” Rin swallows. “This seems like the best red flag I’ve found.”

“But why target us now?” Suzuya asks. Chocolate is smeared across his cheeks.

“I mean, there’s no proof they didn’t target Dad as well. Maybe that’s how he died. There’s not much information on the accident, though, so this is just speculation.” Rin shrugs.

“We need to talk to Nishiki about this. If – if Vampires are real – if part-vampires can live like normal humans, why can’t part-ghouls?” Kaneki’s body surges with hope.

“Precisely.” Rin smiles at him.

Suzuya hugs them both. “Well, I love having ghouls and vampires in my family.”

I’ve seen the daddy kink is quite popular in this fandom, so what if Hairu started calling Ui like this but it’s too much to handle for ui boi

Oh dear.

“Can you put these papers on Arima’s desk?” Ui smiles at his girlfriend.

“Okay, Daddy.” She kisses him before dancing away.

Ui wheezes. What? Huh?

Laughter sounds from across the room. Furuta Nimura can’t stand properly. Hirako is bright red.

“Why’d she call him Daddy?” Shio’s eyes are even wider than normal.

“Let’s go practice!” Hirako waves the Squad Zero children away.

“Hairu,” Ui hisses when she returns. “You can’t call me that.”

“Why, Daddy?” Hairu smirks.

Ui’s certain he’s going to melt into a puddle on the floor. Gurgles come out of his mouth. Sweat runs down his forehead.

Hairu draws him closer. “Why don’t you be my daddy tonight, hmm?”

A crash catches both their attention. Furuta whistles innocently as he steps aside to show Arima, who’s dropped IXA and his jaw to the floor.

Naki is too pure for this world

image

Naki reaches out a hand to stroke Miza, to assure her he’s okay.

His hand slips through her.

“What?!” he shrieks.

“You’re a spirit now, Naki.” Shio and Rikai appear. “We have to go now.”

“Go where?” Naki sounds frightened.

“Heaven.”

“For me?” Naki swallows. Miza is crying. How can he leave her?

“Yes.” Shio throws his arms around Naki. “We’ll be right beside you.”

“Are you – dead?” Naki is horrified. “Not you!”

“It’s okay. Yusa and Hirako are strong. Miza is strong. They’ll remember us, lie you remember your bro.” Rikai nods as tears stream down Shio and Naki’s faces.

“I’ll look after both of you until you see your Arima again,” Naki promises them. As the world around them begins to fade, he grips the children tight.

How about a Kaneki/Hide scenario while Kaneki is working at Anteiku?

“Hide, what is this?”

Kaneki stares at the enormous rose bouquet that’s about the same size as his friend.

“It’s Valentine’s day, and you deserve this. Especially since your last date didn’t go too well.” Hide winks.

Kaneki touches his eyepatch, unconsciously. “Yeah.”

Hide pokes the eyepatch. “Kakugan out?”

Kaneki gasps. “Hide!”

“Kaneki, I know.” Hide sighs. “I still want you to be my Valentine’s date.”

“You – you know – you mean -” Kaneki stammers. His eyes slide to Touka, who once threatened Hide should he find out.

But Touka’s changed, even if just slightly, over the last few months. To his surprise, he sees a faint smile on her face.

“We can close up shop.” Enji Koma shoves Kaneki out from behind the counter.

“Will you be my Valentine?” Hide beams at his friend.

“Uh – uh – help me with the flowers first! Then yes,” Kaneki blurts.

When they leave Anteiku, the entire shop is filled with Roses, and Kaneki’s heart is filled with happiness.
