I like the Arima x Minami hcs! I never thought I would ship them, so thanks. What about headcanons concerning Minami, part time V agent in the ghoul world, part time liason between the CCG’s Reaper and the One-Eye Owl, part time model housewife. (She was obsessed with being a model student as a teenager, I can’t imagine her not turning the same dedication to be a model housewife had she the chance to grow old and marry).

– Minami and Eto would be not only allies, but best friends. Eto would hear about every quirk of Arima’s, every argument, every kiss. And she’d love it, until she brought it up to Arima’s face and he nearly died of embarrassment.

– Then Eto loved it even more.

– Minami would probably notice Furuta’s issues, but unlike her husband, she might actually act on her concerns and thereby avert some tragedy.

– If she discovered Arima’s plan to be killed by Kaneki, Minami would absolutely destroy his plan to keep him alive. She’s determined to find a cure for his condition.

– Minami would probably make Sasaki Haise very, very uncomfortable. Little comments here and there, a queer smile, a pointed look. Just enough to keep him guessing that she and Arima aren’t what they seem.

– She would also probably encourage our dear Ui to tell Hairu about his feelings. Mother-style.

– As her comings-and-goings aren’t as well-recorded as Arima’s, she’s able to sneak information to the Owl much more often than Arima is.

Minami and Arima shipper here again! I really liked what you wrote last time! I have a hc that she taught each of the Qs how to use their kagune prior to Re chap1 and can you maybe have each of their reactions? (even Mutsuki if he couldn’t get his kagune out)

“Okay, my rinkaku girl.” Minami smiles at Saiko, who smiles back nervously. “Here’s what you do. Release that kagune.”

Saiko sends her tentacles out. “Should I make them into something else? Like a fist?”

Minami shakes her head. “Tentacles will do.”

“I like fists.” Saiko curls her rinkaku into two fists. A thrill of power shoots through her. Finally, maybe she can be her own character.

But she doesn’t want this. Her face falls.

Minami gasps.”How…how did you do that?”

“I imagine they’re the fists of One Punch Man.” Saiko smiles.

Minami makes a note to tell Arima he has a natural prodigy.

When Saiko leaves, she faces the ukaku boy. “Hello, Shirazu.”

“Heya! Mrs. Arima!” Shirazu shakes her hand a bit too eagerly.

Minami smirks. “Okay, relax yourself. Now, release.”

“Is this supposed to feel like electrocution?” Shirazu gasps as his own kagune. He kinda wants to take a selfie.

“Some ukakus do, I’ve heard.” Minami nods. “Impressive.”

“I feel so alive.” He whistles, and Minami grins at him.

“Now, look out for my bikaku!”

Urie enters next, a sullen expression on his face.

“Koukakus are heavy,” Minami warns him.

“Yeah, I know. I went to the academy.”

Minami eyes him. “You know, negative emotions diminish your ability to control your kagune.”

“I’m fine.” Urie releases it. “See?” He lurches suddenly.”Whoa!”

Minami’s bikaku sweeps him off his feet. “Cut it off now.”

Urie does so, his heart pounding.

“I won’t tell if you promise to be careful.”

He nods, secretly grateful for her kagune skill.

When Mutsuki Tooru approaches, Minami immediately likes his gentle nature.

“Release.”

Mutsuki strains. “I…can’t.”

Minami frowns. “Are you eating enough?”

“Yes,” Mutsuki says. “I just…I hate blood. I’m too weak.” His shoulders shake.

“Hey, fellow bikaku.” Minami rubs his shoulders. “You’re gonna be okay. We can just talk now. You don’t have to be afraid. The way Quinxes are designed, you control the kagune. The kagune won’t control you unless you’re really foolish, and you’re not.”

She smiles. “Don’t be afraid.”

With a slight hesitation, Mutsuki smiles back.

In the Minami/Arima au, I think Saiko straight up calls Minami “Mommy”, so can I have a scenario of a Christmas where Arima hears Saiko call his wife mommy? I need his reaction

“I got you a present!” Saiko hands a cope of The Nightmare Before Christmas to Minami. “This seems like your type of movie, Mommy.”

Minami grins.

Arima coughs on the cookie in his mouth.

“Do you need eggnog?” Minami winks and hands her husband her glass.

He gladly gulps it, but his face is now purple. “Yonebayashi.”

People are staring. Akira is smirking, Suzuya laughs, and Sasaki looks oddly touched.

“I figured Mommy was better than Grandmommy.” Saiko smiles and walks away, savoring every moment of existential crisis that plagues Arima.

I kinda ship Minami and Arima, and so if she was kept alive and they got married, hcs? Fluffy, nsfw, CCG, married life, just before, it doesn’t matter. I just need more of my otp which seems to be a rare pair ;-;

– Minami came soooooo close to losing it when Arima dragged Kaneki after the Anteiku fight. She chewed him out later on being “unnecessarily harsh” and “mean,” to which he responded by drawing a simple Jack-O-Lantern on a paper and handing it to her. She admitted defeat there.

– Minami is sometimes known as the brains behind Zero Squad, even though Arima is very smart, too.

– For a while, Minami tried to mentor Furuta. Arima warned her against it, but she heard about this garden boi freeing Rize and as a result, has a soft spot for him.

– Furuta, in turn, once asked her if she was Lantern. Arima’s response was savage and though we don’t know everything that happened between them, Furuta never brought it up again.

– Tsuneyoshi once called Minami a “necessary strumpet” to keep Arima fighting. Arima was furious, and Yoshitoki even helped Arima by cutting the wires for hot water in the Washuu household for a day.

– Speaking of Yoshitoki, Minami flat-out told him his son was gay multiple times and has given Matsuri plenty of encouragement. Arima supports this by making sure Tsuneyoshi doesn’t find out.

– Minami survived her fight with Arima because Eto whisked her away at the last moment. She later confront Arima after Eto helped her break into his apartment. He got so scared when she began crying, he lost control of IXA and cut into his neighbor’s wall.

– Arima softened considerably and eventually convinced Tsuneyoshi that he’d found a ghoul who would be very helpful for V. Minami, of course, was dedicated to Arima and Eto’s plan.

– Minami serves as a mentor to Hairu and low key ships her with Ui.

– Minami also asked Arima why he chose Akira to be Kaneki’s mother figure and not her. He replied by asking if she ever saw herself a mother, which led to her pretending to have a positive pregnancy test and further turning Arima’s hair white.

– Arima’s heart swells with pride every time he sees her fight. That’s my wife.

– Watching Arima in battle tends to send Minami’s desires into overdrive. She will arrange for an adventurous night off soon.
