I’m writing a story where Kaneki has a younger sister and she stays human, leading a group comprised of ghouls and humans alike, over the three years after v14 Can you write a little something where they reunite after Goat is formed and just them talking? brother-sister bonding. Her name is Rin, she’s 18, with black hair and grey eyes. She’s skilled with swords and a great leader, despite being young. I imagine their relationship as similar to Sasuke and Itachi’s, no hatred from Rin though.

Ooh I love OCs. Please message me wherever you publish the story (if you do) because I’d love to read it.

“Aren’t you forgetting someone?”

Kaneki’s GOAT meeting has been – rudely, in Tsukiyama Shuu’s opinion – interrupted by a girl with black hair and grey eyes. Come to think of it, she reminds him of their dear Kaneki.

Kaneki swallows. He looks sick.

“Why didn’t you tell me you were alive?” The young woman drops her Rc-suppressant coated blade to the floor. A gaggle of similarly armed men and women wait behind her.

“Rin,” Kaneki whispers.

“Ken. You idiot.” She strides forward, shaking her head at him. “Did you think I didn’t know? Did you think I ever gave up on you? I’ve been – I’ve been trying to unite humans and ghouls ever since you ‘died.’” Indeed, Rin has long partnered her organization with the Great Wheel Arc, and whenever she lost hope, she remembers Kimi Nishino’s tales of her brother’s bravery.

“Everyone missed you.”

“I missed you.” Kaneki swallows.

“But you couldn’t believe you were missed, right?” Rin looks into his eyes. “I know you, Ken.”

“We missed him!” cheers Naki.

“Maybe we shouldn’t be here.” Seidou Takizawa frowns.

“Yes, let’s leave.” Tsukiyama totally plans on listening at the door, but he might as well try to play nice. Fortunately for him, Nishiki has the same idea.

“Who are you?” Kaneki is stunned.

“I’m a leader of a shadow group that seeks to unite humans and ghouls. You can think of us as prototype-GOAT.” Rin snickers.

“You changed all that – you left school – for me?”

“You left school for other people, right?” Rin tilts her head. “Because you wanted to sacrifice yourself for everyone?”

Kaneki sighs. “Something like that.”

“That’s the funny thing about sacrifice, there’s always multiple ways to martyr yourself.” Rin pauses. “Mom was wrong though.”

Kaneki swallows. “I know.”

Rin has tears in her eyes. “Do you think – that even if this ghoul hood hadn’t happened -we’d still wind up here? You the martyr and me the leader, one clinging to her ideals and the other scorning them?”

“Probably,” Kaneki admitted.

“Well, I think we can make life better than Mom knew.” Rin grasps his hands. “I’m so glad you’re here.”

He embraces her. “I’ve missed you, Rin.”

She chuckles. “Now tell me about that cute manager.”

Kaneki blushes. “Maybe I haven’t missed you after all!”

‘rue island two: seidou makes petty comments at urie for hours’ p l e a s e

soutasnotebook:

Alternative title: The Roast of the Quinx.

“Was this really Maman’s plan?” Saiko tugs at the door. She and her fellow Quinx are trapped in a small room with Akira Mado, Amon Koutarou, and Seidou Takizawa.

“It sucks. Of course it’s Kaneki’s plan,” Urie grumbles.

“I brought you a shirt.” Seidou tosses him a white tee reading This is our get-along shirt

“Fuck off,” Urie tells him.

“With ladies present? I think not.” Seidou sniffs.

Urie splutters. “You know I didn’t mean it that way.”

Saiko winks at Akira.

“Make your green goblin friend apologize to Akira.” Seidou crosses his arms.

“Seidou, he was only doing what he thought was right,” warns Amon.

Mutsuki’s eyes fill with tears. “I – I don’t think I’ve ever known that.”

“I forgive you, Mucchan.” Akira smiles at him.

“I don’t. I don’t forgive a one of ya’s. Particularly the purple brat.” Seidou scowls.

“Why me?” Urie clenches his fists.

“Because you remind me of me.” Seidou giggles. “I’m your future. Bah!”

He sticks out his tongue. “Have you framed out yet? That’s possible, right?”

Urie’s face now matches his hair.

“Of course he hasn’t,” Aura snaps.

Hsaio coughs. Saiko stares at the floor.

“Urie?” Higemaru gapes at his hero.

“What happened? Did you try to eat your friends?” Seidou cackles. “Omg, to have been a fly on the wall, watching you eat your words.”

“Shut up.”

“In all fairness, he just attacked me with his kagune, not his teeth.” Saiko says lamely.

Mutsuki’s mouth falls open.

“Urie Kuki,” Akira says firmly. “How many people knew?”

“Just us three,” Hsaio says.

“He’s a ghoul! Their First-Class investigator’s a ghoul!” Seidou rolls around on the floor.

Outside the room, Tsukiyama smirks at Kaneki. “I think it’s going well.”

@hamliet @mistystarshine

Of course Tsukiyama was inspired by the grandmother in Mulan. 😉

“You’re a salty bastard, you know that?” Urie spits.

Mutsuki, however, smiles sweetly at Seidou. “I know what it’s like to lose yourself, too.”

“I hear you do.” Seidou holds up his hand for a high five. “Let’s be best friends.”

Mutsuki returns the high five, and Urie scowls.

“Told you we should have used ownership rights over Amon.” Saiko can’t resist throwing a jab at Urie. Amon smiles at her.

“You’re pretty amazing, Yonebayashi.”

“Am I?” She blushes.

“He’s my boyfriend,” Akira says with a wink.

Saiko laughs. “Oooookay. Lucky Miss Mado.”

“You can date Aura if you like tall men,” Seidou calls.

“Ew! She’s like my sister!” screams Aura.

Seidou laughs even more.

“Why are we still here?” whines Higemaru.

“Because Kaneki wants us to sing Kumbaya. And work through our issues so we don’t kill each other.” Seidou shrugs.

“I thought it was a good idea,” Amon says.

“I didn’t, but that didn’t stop me from agreeing.” Seidou grins.

“I hate you.” Urie crosses his arms.

Seidou gasps and sidles up to Urie. “No, you don’t! I will be a good Seidou and a good role model for the new ghoul. I promise. If you haven’t eaten your fellow Quinx yet, you’re already doing better than me.”

He looks sad for a moment, and Urie pities him. If Saiko hadn’t saved him, would he have done the same?

Urie awkwardly rests his hand on Seidou. “There, there?”

“Touch me again and I eat you.”

Urie pokes him.

Seidou pouts, but then they hear a key in the lock.

“Quick!” Seidou waves his hands.

Kaneki opens the door to see the Quinx and Investigators locked arm in arm, swaying and singing Kumbaya.

He hesitates.

“That’s a no.” Tsukiyama shuts the door and relocks it.

“You asshole!” Seidou yelps.

Could you do something for Urie confronting Haise about cochlea, Arima, and Mutsuki dying (?) because of him.

In the words of our great lord Hideyoshi Nagachika: it may not be stylish, Mutsuki, but live.

“You – you!” Urie splutters. All he can manage is rage. “Sasaki Haise, Kaneki Ken, Centipede, whatever your fucking name is!”

He marches forward and punches Kaneki straight in the nose.

“That seems violent.” Serpent watches curiously.

“You left us! You left Mutsuki – don’t you remember asking me to save him? It was the last thing you fucking said to me! And now he might die thanks to your Raven over here!” Urie flips off Yomo, who winces.

“In Yomo’s defense, Mutsuki was overly fond of knives,” Kirishima Touka snaps.

“Shut up, Rabbit.” Urie whirls back to Sasaki. Kaneki. Sasakaneki. “You killed Arima. You loved Arima. What the fuck?!”

Sasakaneki (Urie feels quite clever for the name) bows his head.

“Are you not going to answer?” screams Urie. “We need answers!”

“I know!” Sasakaneki raises his head to reveal tears in his eyes. “I know! God, what can I say -”

“You can start with ‘I didn’t kill Arima Kishou,’” suggests Hirako Take.

Urie does a double-take. “What?”

Kaneki swallows. “No – I did.”

Hirako shakes his head. “He wanted you to, but I saw. He killed himself and should have never asked you to pretend you did. You’re not betraying him if you tell the truth.”

 Kaneki swallows.

“Why?” Urie is thoroughly confused.

“There was a ghoul family running CCG,” Kaneki says.

“I know.”

“Arima was one of Demon Tsuneyoshi’s offspring,” says Itsuki Marude.

“He joined with Eto Yoshimura to take down the world,” Kaneki says. His voice wobbles. “And gave me his inheritance: the One-Eyed King.”

“Okay, first Arima killed himself, then he’s a ghoul, now he’s the One-Eyed King?” Urie growls.

“Yes. He was all of those, and my friend.” Kaneki shivers. “I miss him.”

“Did you miss us?”

“Of course I did!” Kaneki cries out, and Urie, for once, believes him.

“You hurt us all.” Urie shakes his head. “You can’t be a king if you lie to your people.”

“Then join GOAT and be an advisor,” Tsukiyama Shuu, that rotten Gourmet, finally sees a chance to speak. “It’s lonely doing it all by myself.”

“All by yourself?” Touka barks. “Excuse you?!”

Urie looks around this crazy, dysfunctional family that reminds him so much of the Chateau, yet he doesn’t belong here.

Kaneki places a hand on his shoulder. Urie remembers framing out. Maybe he does belong, after all.

He’s not ready to hug his leader, but he is willing to learn. “Tell me everything.”

But guys what about Rize? I nominate Les Poissons.

Can you write something fluffy with Fruit having a little sister? Mischievous like him but will literally maim anybody who talks shit about her big brother. Just some happy time, Furuta needs happiness (if you don’t write ocs it’s cool, i was just asking! Also, very goodjob with the blog so far, lovely!)

soutasnotebook:

Thank you so much, Nonny-Mouse! I absolutely ADORE OC’s, so I’m happy to give Fruit a little sis!

“I don’t like you.” Urie looks down to see a pretty girl with glossy black hair and pale skin glaring at him.

“Excuse me?”

Her fingers curl into a fist. “You called the director a piece of shit! Take it back.”

Urie cannot believe a child is trying to fight him. This fangirl can’t be older than fourteen. “No.”

The girl knees him between his thighs.

“Ah!” Urie doubles over.

“Thanks for the cookies.” She waves the package Suzuya gave him. “I’ll take these as payment.”

“Get back here, brat!”

She runs away, and Urie decides to let her go. One fangirl isn’t worth his time.

But when he storms into Furuta’s office later to find the same girl hanging onto Furuta’s shoulders, he finds himself rethinking that decision. Just a smidge.

“The fuck?”

“I’ll prefer you not to use vulgarities around my sister.” Furuta – Kichimura Washuu he is not – sniffs.

Urie’s mouth falls open. “That’s your sister?”

The girl winks at him and holds up bunny ears behind Furuta. So she knows no loyalties, then. Must run in the family.

“This is Tsubaki. Tsubaki, First Class Urie Kuki.” Furuta chuckles as she reaches over to tickle him.

“I’ll leave you two, then. It can wait.” Urie backs out. With Tsubaki, the director looks human

“I love you, big bro.” Tsubaki kissed his cheek.

“You realize V is going to be pissed you escaped, right?” Furuta sings.

“Don’t use such vulgarities,” she mimics.

He narrows his eyes, and she narrows hers right back.

“Besides, I was only doing what you did, ‘member?” Tsubaki laughs. “I want you to introduce me to the Oggai. That Squad leader with the blueish hair is cute.”

“No sister of mine is dating a ghoul.” Furuta is appalled. The Oggai must die. Tsubaki must live.

“You wanted to date a ghoul yourself,” she throws back. “Come on, big brother. Don’t you love me?”

Her puppy-dog eyes – the eyes he taught her – ache his heart. “Oh, all right.”

“Yesss!” she cheers. “When I grow up, Souta, I want to be just like you.”

Furuta wants the exact opposite. For a moment, he wants to tell her everything, but why ruin the one person who loves him?

He settles for hugging her instead.

@hamliet Your request is my command.

“What do you mean, Hajime’s been captured?” Tsubaki recalls Hajime Hazuki breaking up with her just days ago. “What’s going on?!”

“It’s part of a mission” Mayazumi assures her. “He really likes you.”

“Just his job more.” Tsubaki scowls. “Where is he?”

“I can’t tell you.”

Tsubaki flutters her lashes. “Are you sure?”

——————————————————–

“Kaneki!” Tsukiyama Shuu races into the king’s bedroom.

“What?!” Kaneki sits up, his chest bare. Beside him, Touka glowers at Tsukiyama.

Heat flies to Tsukiyama’s face. “Mr. Slaughter has a visitor who apparently snuck through the drainage pipes.”

When Kaneki enters Hajime’s cell, he sees a younger, female Furuta next to the Oggai.

“Kaneki! You’re Kaneki, right?” The girl gasps.

“Who are you?” Kaneki is terrified.

“I’m Furuta Tsubaki. You’ve chained up my boyfriend and I don’t agree with that decision.” She shrugs. “So free him or chain me up, too.”

“No!”

“Yes!”

“Tsubaki.” Hajime swallows the lump in his throat. He thought he was worthless, but she broke through ghoul territory to reach him. “It’s okay.”

“Don’t give me that nonsense.” Tsubaki flops backwards. “Besides, we all know my brother’s just trying to provoke you into becoming Public Enemy Number One, King Kaneki. Take me captive and use me so he doesn’t self-destruct.”

“I don’t think I like this plan,” Touka murmurs.

“I don’t trust her,” says Kaneki.

“I like her,” asserts Tsukiyama.

“Of course you do,” Hajime sneers. Tsukiyama nods eagerly.

—————————————-

Furuta recieves the phone call he’s been dreading since Tsubaki vanished.

“Hi big brother.”

“Where are you?!” he growls.

“Uh, with GOAT? And Hajime? I’m their captive so you don’t try to kill them or yourself.”

Furuta’s mind spins. Has he taught her too well? “There’s no way.”

“Oh, but there is.” Tsubaki grins. There’s no way Souta’s tragedy can occur now.

Tsukikana/The Little Mermaid

Anonymous asked: After that Mulan-Mutsurie mashup, I dare you to write Disney-film mashups for: Ayahina, Touken, Takirona, Akiramon, Uihai, Nishikimi, Tsukikana, Arieto, and Shiraiko. Ty and good night.

I’ll be posting these once a day (probably) until the list is done!

Mutsurie/Mulan: here.

Ayahina/Sleeping Beauty: here.

Uihai/Tangled: here.

Akiramon/The Hunchback of Notre Dame: here

“You’re coming with me, wench!” cries Kanou, dragging a resurrected Kanae along with him. “V has need of you.”

“Kanou, stop!” Mirumo jumps in front of them, kagune drawn.

Kanou merely laughs. “Why Mirumo, how are you?”

“Let her go!” She’s his niece, and Mirumo isn’t abandoning her again.

“Sorry, but I can’t do that. We made a deal. She got to see your son again, and we got to keep her as our test subject.” Kanou licks his lips.

“Mirumo, I’m sorry – I -” Kanae struggles against the cloaked V agents that swarm her. “I had to see Shuu!”

Mirumo stabs are Kanou, but the doctor’s laughter grows malevolent.

“See this medicine?” He holds up a vial. “If I don’t give it to her, she’s dead. She’s going to do as I say, forever.”

Mirumo starts.

“However, I can always be persuaded to bargain.” Kanou grins. The origins of the Tsukiyama strength? He wants it, because with the father will surely come the son. “A better exchange, if you will.”

Kanae shakes her head. She knows what it’s like to lose a father – this cannot happen to Shuu.

—————————————————

“Where are you going?” Kaneki cries.

“I already lost her once! I’m not losing her again!” Tsukiyama Shuu runs towards V’s headquarters.

————————————————————-

“You give her the medicine right now. Then you’ll have your deal,” Mirumo whispers.

“No!” Kanae screams. He doesn’t need to prove he loves her. She always saw him as family. But Kanou has already thrown the medicine at her, and V swarms Mirumo.

“You – you monster!” Kanae uppercuts Kanou. Blood spurts from his nose, but he only seems more pleased.

And then he takes a bite of Mirumo’s shoulder. The elderly Tsukiyama moans on his knees as a bloody-mouthed Kanou laughs and laughs.

Kanou begins to transform. He grows larger and larger, at least three times the size of the one-eyed Owl kakuja.

Kanae barely dodges his swipe. And then Kanou yells –

Tsukiyama is atop him, stabbing his kakuja through the back.

“Shuu, look out!” Kanae shrieks from beneath Kanou’s arm.

Spikes shoot out of the kakuja, and Tsukiyama tumbles to the gravel, into the arms of V’s agents.

“Get away!” Kirishima Touka shoots Rc bullets and Kaneki Ken uses his rinkaku to impale the scattered agents.

“Oh. That’s it.” Kanou’s eyes darken, and he turns back to Kanae. Hideous tentacles pin her to the ground. “You’ve caused too much trouble this time, missy.”

He stabs her over and over. Kanae can feel herself weakening from blood loss – GOAT won’t be able to fight through V enough to reach her.

“So much for true love!” Kanou exults, and it’s then that Kanae sees Master Shuu lunging straight for Kanou’s head.

“Ahhhhhhhh!” Kanou bellows as Tsukiyama’s well-aimed koukaku pierces his head.

As Kanou sinks to the ground, agents of V fall back. Their grotesque, experimented faces begin to normalize. They look human again, ever so gradually. They drop their grip on Mirumo.

“Shuu!” Kanae frees herself and grabs him.

“Karren.” He whispers that special name, tears in his eyes as he hugs her. Then he turns to embrace his approaching father. “Dad.”

“She really does love you, son.” Mirumo nods. “And I love her like a daughter already.”

“A daughter-in-law, I hope,” Tsukiyama huffs. He draws Kanae to his lips, and she knows herself the happiest woman in the world.

Tsukiyama and Kaneki taking care of a baby girl they adopted? <3

❤ ❤ ❤ Cute!

“Dada.” A two-year-old girl totters into her parents’ bedroom, fat tears rolling down her chubby cheeks.

“Karren!” Tsukiyama leaps out of bed. He scoops her into his arms. “Bad dream?”

Karren nods and lets out a sob.

Kaneki draws Tsukiyama and his little girl close to his chest. Hs heart warms as she reaches for him. “Shh. You’re safe here. Your daddies love you.”

“Dada.” Karren pats Kaneki’s face. “Strong.”

“Very.” Tsukiyama winks at Kaneki. “Want to sleep in the big bed with your daddies?”

Karren squeals with excitement, all her bad dreams banished in the light of her doting fathers.

“Kaneki, here.” Tsukiyama hands Karren to his husband. “I’ll go get your rainbow pillow.” It’s her favorite. Their princess can’t sleep without it.

When Tsukiyama returns to their bedroom, he stops to marvel at Kaneki tucking in their daughter, the orphaned ghoul they’d decided to adopt together. These two are the best part of his life.

He gives Karren her rainbow pillow and nestles next to her. Kaneki settles on her other side, and Tsukiyama knows she and he are the best part of Kaneki’s life, too.

So….. What about Happy drunk Naki having fun with Yamada (tsukiyama) after the wedding! They are good bros

Thank you thank you! Naki asks warm whatever’s left of my heart after the last few chapters.

“You chose the best blood wine, bro.” Naki throws his arm across Tsukiyama’s shoulders. “The best.”

“Thank you.” Tsukiyama feels giddy. He hasn’t been drunk in a while – well, since he snuck into Mirumo’s cabinet and tested every bottle and Matsumae discovered him throwing up on the floor when he was all of fifteen – but buzzed is always a nice feeling.

“How’d you get to be so shmart?” Naki giggles. “I wish I was like you. Big bro would have liked you.”

No, Yamori would not have liked Tsukiyama, and Tsukiyama would not have liked the blood flecks on his immaculate suit, but that was then, and this is now.

“Are you happy, Naki?”

“Yesh!” Naki throws back his head and laughs. “Because with this – thish stuff – I feel like I can talk to Big Bro. And Miza.”

“Miza’s alive,” she calls over, sourly.

“And you!” Naki hugs Tsukiyama, who starts laughing.

“Wait, have any of you played Never Have I Ever? We should,” Tsukiyama calls over the guests. Hinami declines, to his relief, and Nishiki is wrestling Yomo to bed, and Kaneki and Touka are off – well – Tsukiyama giggles.

Soon it’s just Miza, Naki, Koma, Irimi, and Tsukiyama playing. They discover that Naki’s a virgin, Miza wants to change that, Irimi has never killed anyone older than sixty, and Koma has also eaten himself to heal, much like Tsukiyama did after their lovely married couple let him have it.

“Like old times!” Naki babbles, though to what old times he’s referring to, Tsukiyama has no idea.

“To love!” Tsukiyama raises his glass.

“All the love here tonight.” Naki dissolves into giggles, and they all cheer.

He finally spills his wine over his white suit, and Koma leaps to his feet. “I win!”

Tsukiyama hands over money. “Damn, I was rooting for you, Naki.”

Naki just laughs, and soon they all do, too.

This has to happen. Kaneki and Hide finally reuniting, and Kaneki’s reaction to Hide’s silence and scars (I sense a lot of tears and hugs to come).

If we get anything less than an entire chapter of feels, I will rebel.

“Sasaki! Or should I say Kaneki?” Marude Itsuki, Washuu Matsuri, and Urie Kuki march into the 24th ward, alongside a ghoul Kaneki recognizes as Scarecrow.

After returning to find GOAT in chaos while Ayato and strange 24th ward inhabitants held his former colleagues hostage, Kaneki is not in the mood for more familiar faces. Or any, really, except Touka.

Because he almost lost her and their baby today.

“Is this your negotiation?” Tsukiyama looks amused. Hirako crosses his arms and glares at them.

Urie looks desperate, like a little kid reaching for his father. “No, I’m the one who insisted. Kaneki – you have no reason to believe us – but we’re on your side.”

Scarecrow shuffles forward.

“You know him as Hide,” Urie says.

Kaneki’s face pales, and Touka inhales sharply behind him.

“Why should we believe you? Can’t he speak for himself?” Tsukiyama steps in front of Kaneki. He does not want anyone upsetting his friend any more today.

“No,” Urie says. But Scarecrow is scribbling on a notepad and handing it forward.

Tsukiyama takes it and shows it to Kaneki.

Hi Kaneki

He recognizes this handwriting. Kaneki lets out a cry.

Touka grips her husband and guides him forward. “I swear if this is a trap, I’ll eat all of you.”

Marude likes her fire.

“I’ll help,” says Tsukiyama.

Urie swallows as his former leader’s eyes meet his.He remembers their last conversation. Now Mutsuki is held captive, and he failed to save him again.

Scarecrow squeezes Kaneki’s hand too hard, just like Hide used to.

He coughs and begins to untie his mask. Urie reaches over to help.

Kaneki can’t breathe. He still has his orange hair and one eye, but his nose is just nostrils, his mouth and jaw are consumed by scars, and he’s missing half an ear.

Still, he’s trying to smile.

Kaneki’s eyes fill with tears. “What happened?”

He remembers Touka behind him, and the child she carries. He needs to face the past to savers future.

“Did I do this?”

Hide scribbles on the paper. I told you to.

Kaneki shakes his head. “Hide, this – this is why -”

I’m so proud of you.

It may not be stylish, but live. Remember? Hide winks at Touka and writes more.

You made it stylish.

Kaneki cries harder. He’s too afraid to hug him, to afraid to ask for forgiveness, but no, he needs to face his fear. He reaches out.

Hide holds him tight. The Kaneki Ken he knew wouldn’t have reached out.

His friend is back, and they can survive together. Stylishly.

angsty Shuuneki during this current arc, please?

Ooh angst is fun. I love angst.

“So what you’re saying,” Kaneki says, “is that I’m aging. At a fearsome pace.”

Tsukiyama clamps a hand over his mouth to keep from screaming. Nishiki affirms, and all he can think is that no, his Ken is going to die.

When Kaneki exits the room, he bumps into Tsukiyama, who has tears in his eyes.

Kaneki swallows. Shuu knows, doesn’t he?

“You’re like a fine wine. Better aged,” Tsukiyama blurts out.

Kaneki’s cheeks turn pink. “Thank you, Tsukiyama.”

Tsukiyama bounds along beside him. “What can I do? Do you want to eat me? And all my Rc cells? Just tell me and I’ll do it.”

“Tsukiyama, calm down. Nishiki’s a scientist. Maybe everything will work out.” Kaneki sighs.

He doesn’t believe that. He hasn’t believed that since all those years ago, when he couldn’t eat a hamburger.

“Don’t give up. Not yet.” Tsukiyama shoves Kaneki backwards. “I’m counting on you. You don’t get to take the easy way out and die a martyr this time. Promise me.”

Kaneki glares at him.

“Please!”

“Fine. I promise I will try to survive.” Kaneki nods.

“Seal it with a kiss?”

Kaneki’s eyes widen. He’s with Touka now. He can’t.

“You know.” Touka’s voice booms behind them, “If it’s what will seal your survival, I don’t mind you giving him a kiss.”

Afraid Touka’s heard too much, Kaneki kisses Shuu as quickly as he can.

It hurts, but now Tsukiyama’s grateful for any and all contact with his friend. Kaneki can’t die. Not yet.
