For a gen prompt, can we get a Urie and Kaneki reunion? Let’s see how he reacts to how much he’s grown, emotionally and… ghoulishly.

“You.” Urie screeches to a halt before his former sensei. “What are you doing here?”

“I assume you’re here to kill us.” Kaneki seems sad by the idea, almost like he cares.

“I’m the only one here.” Urie was actually in the forest to search for something dead to quell his hunger, but Kaneki can’t know what he’s become.

“Really?” Kaneki steps closer and sniffs. “Urie.”

“Don’t say it!” Urie scowls.

“You framed out.”

“I said don’t say it!” Urie claps his hands over his ears, just like a child.

“Urie, you know I still love you all.”

“Then why did you go?” Urie looks up, and Kaneki’s shocked to see tears in his eyes. He has matured. “Mutsuki’s barely recognizable, Saiko still cries over you, the new Quinx hate you…we all hate you, actually! You broke our hearts!”

There he is, the Urie Kaneki remembers. “I’m sorry.”

“Sorry?” Urie spits.

“How can we help you?” A blue-haired woman – Urie recognizes her as the manager of Re cafe – slips out from behind a tree.

“I don’t know.” Urie squeezes his eyes shut. When he opens them, the woman is holding out a chunk of meat to him.

He takes it. “Thank you.”

Urie said thank you. Kaneki just wants to hug him.

“I guess you could start by explaining yourself,” Urie says between bites.

Shiraiko/Beauty and the Beast

Anonymous asked: After that Mulan-Mutsurie mashup, I dare you to write Disney-film mashups for: Ayahina, Touken, Takirona, Akiramon, Uihai, Nishikimi, Tsukikana, Arieto, and Shiraiko. Ty and good night.

I’ll be posting these once a day (probably) until the list is done!

Mutsurie/Mulan: here.

Ayahina/Sleeping Beauty: here.

Uihai/Tangled: here.

Akiramon/The Hunchback of Notre Dame: here.

Tskukikana/The Little Mermaid: here.

Nishikimi/Snow White: here.

Takirona/Frozen: here.

“I’m not sure I can do this.” Shirazu cringes as Mutsuki helps him into a suit jacket. Damn her for holding him to promises made before he died.

“You must!” Higemaru stomps his foot. “You must be bold. Daring!”

He follows Shirazu to the mirror. “There will be music. Romantic candlelight, provided by us. And when the moment comes, you’ll confess your love!”

Shirazu stares at himself. “I’m hideous.”

“You look the same was ever,” Urie says in his quintessential bored voice.

“I’m not though.” He’s dead. He’s a zombie. A walking corpse. Whatever you want to call it.

He should never have agreed to this.

“It’s okay.” Sasaki – excuse him, Kaneki – pats his shoulder. “Saiko won’t care.”

“Now, show us your most winning smile.” Aura can’t believe he got roped into this. Not only is he now friendly with ghouls, but he’s also friendly with the undead.

“Maybe a little less…toothy,” Higemaru advises.

“Onward you go, brave one.” Kaneki smiles at him. He doesn’t care if Shirazu is a zombie. His kids are back

Shirazu sees a very pregnant Touka and lithe Hsaio shove Saiko out from behind the curtain. She’s dressed in a beautiful blue ballgown that shimmers with her every move. White gloves adorn her hands.

“Hi,” she says, almost shyly.

Shirazu croaks. His stiff suit and jerky movements are even worse by comparison. “You look nice.”

Still, he takes her hand and leads her into the ballroom.

Ui stands there, ready to start singing. “Tale as old as time…”

“Of course you’d ask for this song.” Shirazu smiles at Saiko.

“It’s still the best.” Saiko offers him a mischievous grin.

With his heart pounding and something stuck in his throat, Shirazu places his arm around her waist. She steps in tune with the song, beaming brighter than the sun.

“Beauty and the beast…” Ui sings, and on cue, Saiko stops moving.

“I love you, Shirazu.”

“I’m – who can love a zombie?” Shirazu blinks back tears.

“Me. I do. Saiko does.” She draws him closer, and, peering into her sparkling eyes, Shirazu dares to hope he too might have a happy ending.

Hairu elbows Ui, who begins singing “Sha-la-la-la, don’t be shy…”

Touka tries not to laugh. The room erupts in cheers as the happy couple seals their future with a kiss.

Can you write something fluffy with Fruit having a little sister? Mischievous like him but will literally maim anybody who talks shit about her big brother. Just some happy time, Furuta needs happiness (if you don’t write ocs it’s cool, i was just asking! Also, very goodjob with the blog so far, lovely!)

soutasnotebook:

Thank you so much, Nonny-Mouse! I absolutely ADORE OC’s, so I’m happy to give Fruit a little sis!

“I don’t like you.” Urie looks down to see a pretty girl with glossy black hair and pale skin glaring at him.

“Excuse me?”

Her fingers curl into a fist. “You called the director a piece of shit! Take it back.”

Urie cannot believe a child is trying to fight him. This fangirl can’t be older than fourteen. “No.”

The girl knees him between his thighs.

“Ah!” Urie doubles over.

“Thanks for the cookies.” She waves the package Suzuya gave him. “I’ll take these as payment.”

“Get back here, brat!”

She runs away, and Urie decides to let her go. One fangirl isn’t worth his time.

But when he storms into Furuta’s office later to find the same girl hanging onto Furuta’s shoulders, he finds himself rethinking that decision. Just a smidge.

“The fuck?”

“I’ll prefer you not to use vulgarities around my sister.” Furuta – Kichimura Washuu he is not – sniffs.

Urie’s mouth falls open. “That’s your sister?”

The girl winks at him and holds up bunny ears behind Furuta. So she knows no loyalties, then. Must run in the family.

“This is Tsubaki. Tsubaki, First Class Urie Kuki.” Furuta chuckles as she reaches over to tickle him.

“I’ll leave you two, then. It can wait.” Urie backs out. With Tsubaki, the director looks human

“I love you, big bro.” Tsubaki kissed his cheek.

“You realize V is going to be pissed you escaped, right?” Furuta sings.

“Don’t use such vulgarities,” she mimics.

He narrows his eyes, and she narrows hers right back.

“Besides, I was only doing what you did, ‘member?” Tsubaki laughs. “I want you to introduce me to the Oggai. That Squad leader with the blueish hair is cute.”

“No sister of mine is dating a ghoul.” Furuta is appalled. The Oggai must die. Tsubaki must live.

“You wanted to date a ghoul yourself,” she throws back. “Come on, big brother. Don’t you love me?”

Her puppy-dog eyes – the eyes he taught her – ache his heart. “Oh, all right.”

“Yesss!” she cheers. “When I grow up, Souta, I want to be just like you.”

Furuta wants the exact opposite. For a moment, he wants to tell her everything, but why ruin the one person who loves him?

He settles for hugging her instead.

@hamliet Your request is my command.

“What do you mean, Hajime’s been captured?” Tsubaki recalls Hajime Hazuki breaking up with her just days ago. “What’s going on?!”

“It’s part of a mission” Mayazumi assures her. “He really likes you.”

“Just his job more.” Tsubaki scowls. “Where is he?”

“I can’t tell you.”

Tsubaki flutters her lashes. “Are you sure?”

——————————————————–

“Kaneki!” Tsukiyama Shuu races into the king’s bedroom.

“What?!” Kaneki sits up, his chest bare. Beside him, Touka glowers at Tsukiyama.

Heat flies to Tsukiyama’s face. “Mr. Slaughter has a visitor who apparently snuck through the drainage pipes.”

When Kaneki enters Hajime’s cell, he sees a younger, female Furuta next to the Oggai.

“Kaneki! You’re Kaneki, right?” The girl gasps.

“Who are you?” Kaneki is terrified.

“I’m Furuta Tsubaki. You’ve chained up my boyfriend and I don’t agree with that decision.” She shrugs. “So free him or chain me up, too.”

“No!”

“Yes!”

“Tsubaki.” Hajime swallows the lump in his throat. He thought he was worthless, but she broke through ghoul territory to reach him. “It’s okay.”

“Don’t give me that nonsense.” Tsubaki flops backwards. “Besides, we all know my brother’s just trying to provoke you into becoming Public Enemy Number One, King Kaneki. Take me captive and use me so he doesn’t self-destruct.”

“I don’t think I like this plan,” Touka murmurs.

“I don’t trust her,” says Kaneki.

“I like her,” asserts Tsukiyama.

“Of course you do,” Hajime sneers. Tsukiyama nods eagerly.

—————————————-

Furuta recieves the phone call he’s been dreading since Tsubaki vanished.

“Hi big brother.”

“Where are you?!” he growls.

“Uh, with GOAT? And Hajime? I’m their captive so you don’t try to kill them or yourself.”

Furuta’s mind spins. Has he taught her too well? “There’s no way.”

“Oh, but there is.” Tsubaki grins. There’s no way Souta’s tragedy can occur now.

Mulan/Mutsurie Mashup: Here

Sleeping Beauty/Ayahina

Ayato and his posse of underworld fighters gape at the wriggling kagune. It impales two ghouls and throws them into flames. It breathes fire like a dragon. Several CCG investigators fall back, screaming and rolling on the ground as they roast alive.

The CCG director laughs behind it. “Now you’re all going to die!”

The reaper Ayato was fighting hesitates. He’s not surprised that this was all a plot; in fact, he almost looked relieved.

“Truce until we wreck that?”

“You bastard!” Touka charges at him. “Hinami’s back there!”

Ayato’s blood boils. “What?!”

“I didn’t – I didn’t know – we have to let her go!” The investigator clutches his scythe. “She’s probably dead.”

“Oh hell no.” Ayato did not bring up reinforcements to save the day just to lose Hinami,

“Ayato, she’s halved,” Touka says, tears in her eyes.

Ayato punches the investigator straight in the face.

“Stop, he used to be Kaneki’s friend!” cries Touka.

“I don’t fucking care.” Ayato whirls around, but kagune brambles are already filling up the path between he and Hinami.

“We’re going to help!” Touka, Investigator Suzuya, and a tall, nervous investigator run after Ayato.

Ayato fires Rc shards over and over. The kagune springs forth an undead mass of flesh that grabs Ayato, but the tall investigator quickly dispatches it.

“No!” gasps Furuta when he sees Ayato nearing him. He leaps forward.

Suzuya, Hanbee, and those loathsome Kirshimia halt.

“Now you shall have to deal with me, sweet prince,” Furuta taunts. Doubtless the boy is concerned for the barely-alive Yotsume behind him. “And all the powers of hell!”

In a blast that sends Suzuya tumbling back, the kagune dragon reattaches itself to Furuta. He grows and grows, until his full kakuja is displayed in all its reptilian inglory.

Hanbee screams, and the dragon lunges straight for Ayato. He narrowly avoids it, but fire quickly surrounds his three companions.

“This way!” Touka waves him into a nearby tunnel, and Suzuya grabs his arm before another blast of fire.

“We need a plan.”

“We’ll distract him. Rabbit, go.” Suzuya hands Ayato an Rc-suppressant tinged knife.

Suzuya, Hanbee, and Touka leap out of the tunnel. Fire shoots at them, and they’re slowly losing ground.

With a scream, Ayato uses his ukaku to fly straight for Furuta’s heart. He aims the knife and hurls it.

Furuta shrieks, and his kakuja begins to dissipate. It melts off his skin like the reptile he is, and when he regains consciousness, he will find himself too full of suppressants to protest.

Ayato, however, dashes for Hinami. She’s regenerating half her body and barely conscious. “Hina, Hina, it’s all right. I’m here.”

Tears prick his eyes, but he knows what to do. He’s seen it time and again with Aogiri.

Ayato grabs her lower half and presses it against her midsection. Slowly, bonds began reforming.

Hinami opens her eyes to Ayato’s desperate lips on hers.

“Uhh…you fight good” ft mutsurie in which mucchan trains with urie (and kicks his butt :’))

The world needs more Mulan/TG mashups.

Content note: transphobia.

——————————————————————————–

“Try to catch me!” Urie dodges Mutsuki’s knife.

“Urie, you’re too fast.” Mutsuki giggles and feints to the right.

Urie escapes again, but Mutsukiw as definitely closer this time.

And then Mutsuki backflips, exposing his bikaku and throwing Urie to the ground.

Urie stares up at Mutsuki, who’s now straddling him and grinning with pride.

“W-wow. You fight good.”

Urie and Mutsuki look at each other, and both are wondering what a kiss might feel like when Sasaki interrupts. “Dinner!”

——————————————————————————–

“Where is he…where is he?” Nimura Furuta stalks across the bloodied streets. CCG has been defeated, and he’s probably going to die, thank God, but he’s going to take them down with him.

Urie leaps in front of Mutsuki. Saiko activates her kagune. Aura stands behind his friend, Hsaio to his left, Higemaru to his right. All kakugans blaze.

“That was a deliberate attempt on my life!” cries Furuta. “Step aside. That he-she’s not worth protecting.”

“He’s a hero!” Urie spits.

“He’s not even a he. He’ll never be worth anything.” Furuta activates his own kakugan.

But Urie’s already framed out. “Listen, you pompous -”

“THAT. IS. ENOUGH.” Kaneki Ken shoves his way through the crowds, Touka Kirishima at his side. Kaneki steps out of his kakuja, but Touka’s ukaku remains ready.

“S-Sasaki.” Urie remembers Kaneki’s final words to him before he left CCG. Save Mutsuki

He’s failed to save their squad. Look at them, all full ghouls.

“I can explain.”

Touka holds up a hand. “You know, I’ve learned a great deal about you all. Especially you, Mutsuki Tooru. How you killed your family and the cat. How you arrested my best friend. You tried to kill me over and over.”

Mutsuki’s head bows lower and lower.

“And -” Touka’s tone softens. “You have saved us all.”

Mutsuki blinks. “Me?”

Kaneki wraps new rinkaku tendrils around a sputtering Furuta. “If you hadn’t turned the Oggai on CCG, GOAT would be dead. My child would be dead.”

Mutsuki gapes at Touka. She’s – strangely, with all the Quinx surrounding him, with Kaneki’s love, he doesn’t feel jealous anymore. “It was – it was Urie.”

“Nah, I think it was you, Mucchy.” Saiko winks at Touka. They have similar hair colors. Their future could be fun.

“I need to tend to the Oggai, Sensei,” Mutsuki says, his face red. “If you’ll let me.”

He can’t abandon them the way Sensei did.

“Of course.” Kaneki waves him towards the crying children. Perhaps he, too, is learning.

“Mutsuki!” Urie grabs his hand. “Uh – you fight good.”

The memory returns, and Mutsuki’s eyes mist. Perhaps everything hasn’t died. “Thank you.”

Touka’s mouth drops open and Kaneki inches closer, pulling a cocooned Furuta. “You don’t meet someone like that often, Urie.”

“I know.” Urie smiles, and Mutsuki looks over at him. The Oggai are swarming him with cuddles.

“He knows it, too.”

This has to happen. Kaneki and Hide finally reuniting, and Kaneki’s reaction to Hide’s silence and scars (I sense a lot of tears and hugs to come).

If we get anything less than an entire chapter of feels, I will rebel.

“Sasaki! Or should I say Kaneki?” Marude Itsuki, Washuu Matsuri, and Urie Kuki march into the 24th ward, alongside a ghoul Kaneki recognizes as Scarecrow.

After returning to find GOAT in chaos while Ayato and strange 24th ward inhabitants held his former colleagues hostage, Kaneki is not in the mood for more familiar faces. Or any, really, except Touka.

Because he almost lost her and their baby today.

“Is this your negotiation?” Tsukiyama looks amused. Hirako crosses his arms and glares at them.

Urie looks desperate, like a little kid reaching for his father. “No, I’m the one who insisted. Kaneki – you have no reason to believe us – but we’re on your side.”

Scarecrow shuffles forward.

“You know him as Hide,” Urie says.

Kaneki’s face pales, and Touka inhales sharply behind him.

“Why should we believe you? Can’t he speak for himself?” Tsukiyama steps in front of Kaneki. He does not want anyone upsetting his friend any more today.

“No,” Urie says. But Scarecrow is scribbling on a notepad and handing it forward.

Tsukiyama takes it and shows it to Kaneki.

Hi Kaneki

He recognizes this handwriting. Kaneki lets out a cry.

Touka grips her husband and guides him forward. “I swear if this is a trap, I’ll eat all of you.”

Marude likes her fire.

“I’ll help,” says Tsukiyama.

Urie swallows as his former leader’s eyes meet his.He remembers their last conversation. Now Mutsuki is held captive, and he failed to save him again.

Scarecrow squeezes Kaneki’s hand too hard, just like Hide used to.

He coughs and begins to untie his mask. Urie reaches over to help.

Kaneki can’t breathe. He still has his orange hair and one eye, but his nose is just nostrils, his mouth and jaw are consumed by scars, and he’s missing half an ear.

Still, he’s trying to smile.

Kaneki’s eyes fill with tears. “What happened?”

He remembers Touka behind him, and the child she carries. He needs to face the past to savers future.

“Did I do this?”

Hide scribbles on the paper. I told you to.

Kaneki shakes his head. “Hide, this – this is why -”

I’m so proud of you.

It may not be stylish, but live. Remember? Hide winks at Touka and writes more.

You made it stylish.

Kaneki cries harder. He’s too afraid to hug him, to afraid to ask for forgiveness, but no, he needs to face his fear. He reaches out.

Hide holds him tight. The Kaneki Ken he knew wouldn’t have reached out.

His friend is back, and they can survive together. Stylishly.

Ayato and Hinami get lost together in the 24th ward and Touka (who is there and safe and it’s all FINE) and Kaneki worry until they eventually find their way home.

Wait, everything’s totally fine, what are you talking about? O_O

Hinami doesn’t want to ask if Ayato knows where he’s going, but as the minutes tick by, her silence is become more awkward than the question would be. They pass tunnel after tunnel, some fallen down, and she can’t sense any humans or ghouls around.

“Um, Ayato…”

He spins around, eyes huge. He has to say it before she judges him! “I’m lost.”

“I know,” she says with a nervous laugh.

“I’m sorry. I’m a loser.” Ayato kicks the crumbling tunnel wall.

“No, you’re not!” Hinami gasps. She grabs Ayato’s hands. “I wanted to take a walk with you; it’ll just be a little longer than we both anticipated.”

Ayato smiles at her. She always knows how to keep him calm. Hinami is a treasure.

“Wait, wasn’t I supposed to teach you dancing at some point? We can find out way back here.” HInami claps her hands. “Unless you never meant to actually learn.”

“What do you mean; of course I want to.” Ayato coughs, and Hinami shakes her head at him.

She tugs him just a bit closer, and suddenly his heart races. He wants to say something clever, but only comes out stammering.

————————————————————————————-

“Kaneki, have you seen Ayato and Hina?” Touka is hungry, pregnant, and 100% not ready to deal with his little brother.

“No. I gave him a few hours off.” Kaneki frowns. “Why?”

“It’s been four hours and no one’s seen them.” Touka stomps her foot. “There’s only so many places they could be!”

“They probably got lost.” Tsukiyama shrugs.

Touka glowers at him.

“Don’t shoot the messenger. Besides, I trust Hinami’s instincts to get them home.” Tsukiyama scrambles away before that pregnant ghoul eats him.

But when it’s eleven o’clock, seven hours now, and no one has heard, even the Gourmet must feel concern.

Kaneki is pacing back and forth, Touka is growling, and Yomo is trying to calm her down “for the baby.”

He just hopes his nephew isn’t making one.

“Oni-Chan!” Hinami races into headquarters, Ayato on her heels. “I’m so sorry! We got lost during our walk!”

“There’s a lot of space underground,” Ayato adds lamely.

Touka throws her arms around Hinami. “We’re just glad you’re okay.”

Ayato feels someone tap his shoulder. Kaneki Ken tucks the pack of his shirt in before anyone notices.

He’s kinda grateful for this brother-in-law, and even more so for Hinami.

Yomo finds out just how involved Uta is in all of this.

My boy Yomo better live so this can happen. *falls on face, prays to Ishida*

Uta lounges in HySy Studio, sketching designs for another mask. This one is inspired by dragons, or whatever chaos that runt Souta has planned.

No one will wear it. That’s okay.

He slips on his No-Face mask and dances around the studio. So much fun.

Until someone’s fist blasts him into the wall.

Uta leaps to his feet, barely bruised – and sees a livid Yomo there, flanked by Touka Kirishima, some sassy middle-schooler, and … Suzuya Juuzou?

He laughs. “To what do I owe this motley visit?”

“Being a two-faced bastard,” Touka shoots back.

Yomo steps forward, clenching and unclenching his fist. “Is it true?”

“What? Is what true?” Uta bats his eyes.

“Don’t do that.” Yomo’s voice is strained. He curses. “I knew you were a Clown, but…”

“You impersonated Mr. Shinohara.” Suzuya looks like he wants to cry.

“You’re working with our big leader,” sings the middle schooler. He has a tongue piercing, and that alone warms him to Uta.

Uta sniffs. “You’re a half-ghoul.”

“No, I’m an Oggai, shithead,” says the kid. “Want to know what happened? Here we were, slaughtering the ghouls in the 24th ward – our leader really took a shine to slicing up your Yomo –”

“When Kuki Urie and the Quinx Squad arrived to tell us we were all being played by ghouls like Nimura Furuta. So we struck a truce. I didn’t like Furuta anyway.” Suzuya crosses his arms. “And I don’t like you.”

“And I remembered you!” The kid giggles. “So now we’re confronting you. Ain’t life a bitch?”

“Please stop swearing,” Yomo says automatically.

Uta chuckles. “You never change, Yomo.”

“Did you? Or were you always this cruel?” Yomo steps forward. He could have died today. The two rogue Quinxes are currently imprisoned with half the rebellious Oggai, but if the lead Quinx hadn’t arrived – he’d be dead. Would Uta care?

“I’m lonely.” Uta smiles at him and shrugs. “So what are you gonna do? Kill me? Torture me? You won’t get far.”

“Don’t you care?” Yomo bellows. “Touka nearly lost her baby! I nearly died! Don’t you feel anything at all?”

He shoves Uta against the wall. His eyes blaze. “What is wrong with you?!”

At his touch, Uta blinks back the image of Yomo’s head rolling along the tunnels of the 24th ward. It’s distinctly unpleasant.

“I – I don’t know,” he whispers. Wait, Touka is pregnant?

“Well, you’ll have time to figure it out, because we’re arresting you.” Suzuya beams at him.

Yomo turns away, and everything in Uta screams for him to look back.

Koori proposing to Hairu lol

So much Uihai. I love it!

Ihei Hairu nearly collapses as soon s their meeting ends. She swears Marude just asked questions to hear himself talk.

“Coffee?” Ui asks her, and she nods eagerly.

“I’d die without it after whatever the hell that was,” Hairu mutters, and Ui has to chuckle, though he feels guilty, too. After all, he was the one who asked Marude to take up extra time.

When they arrive at Re cafe, Hairu’s favorite, he orders a latte for both of them, as planned. The blue-haired manager winks at him. She’s been planning this for a week.

Hairu looks down at her cup and gasps.

Will you marry me? is written in the foam.

“Now!” he hears Shio whisper, and Hirako’s dog totters into the cafe, a ring box adorning its collar.

Ui drops to his knees. “Will you – I mean – can you – do you want to marry me?”

His fingers scrambled to open the box. A beautiful pink diamond, just the color of her hair. Arima helped him pick it out.

Hairu shrieks. “Yes!”

And then she tackles him, peppering his face with kisses.

The Quinx Squad and Arima Squad file in, Saiko with balloons and Hirako with chocolates. Sasaki heads right up to the manager to thank her.

“Koori,” she whispers in his ear, “you’ve made me the happiest person alive.”

something angsty, maybe what you think Tsukiyama is thinking during this current arc?

Tsukiyama is happy for Kaneki and Touka. He really is.

But he’s lonely, and Karren isn’t coming back, and now Kaneki is officially taken, or touken. He chuckles at his own wit.

He knows he doesn’t value life. Not like he should.

He remembers breaking into homes and taking eyes for snacks all too easily, laughing as he feasted on flaky old man shin, setting up dozens in the Ghoul Restaurant.

He is the last person who should be involved in GOAT, and yet here he is, feeling like he knows better than its leader.

Kids are kids are kids. He doesn’t want to kill the little twerp Hajime. But if it’s us or them, Tsukiyama will ensure it’s them

Kaneki wants peace by pacifism, and Tsukiyama wants to believe in it himself, but he can’t.

For them to live – for Touka to carry that baby she isn’t hiding as well as she thinks – people must die.

Just like for him to live, Karren had to die.

Or did she? Chie said there ought to be another way.

He wishes he could see one.

Karren died to ensure his survival. He will honor her sacrifice until the end of his long, long life.

(And when he does meet someone else, he’ll name their firstborn/first adopted Karren, and save Shuu Jr. for the second).
