Haise and the Qs are out. They interview a sexy, curvy woman as she is a witness to a new ghoul case (let’s call it The Brain. Maybe it leaves the brain intact outside the body) and when they finish, Shirazu tries to ask her out. When she says no, Urie isn’t surprised, but what surprises the whole group is when the woman turns to Saiko and asks for her number

What a clever and funny ask!

“Now, can you describe the man who left with the victim?” Urie looks at his notes. This woman makes him nervous. She looks like a model.

Mutsuki doesn’t like how googly-eyed every other man seems around her.

“He had a knit cap on, and a mustache, I think.” The woman twists her flowing hair around her finger.

“What kind of mustache?” Shirazu asks, all too eager. Saiko shakes her head at him.

“Thin and scanty. No beard, though.” The woman leans over, exposing perfectly round cleavage to rival Saiko’s own.

Shirazu’s pitch rises. “And the hat? The color?”

“Hot pink. Not a color I’d expect a ghoul called The Brain to pick, but you know, who can say what ghouls think?” The woman looks sad. “Though you guys are probably the closest.”

“We’re still closer to humans,” Urie says stiffly.

“Of course! I just meant – the internal quinques.” Her eyes sparkle. “It’s the sort of magical talent I’d pretend I had when I was a kid.”

“Me too,” Saiko enthuses. The woman smiles at her.

“Back to the case,” Mutsuki says quickly.

When the woman is done, Shirazu shakes her hand in thanks. He has to beat Urie to this. “So, uh, Miss Megumi, would you want to grab…a candlelit dinner sometime?”

You dolt. Urie waits for her contempt.

“Oh.” The woman presses a hand over her heart. “That’s quite sweet of you, Mr. Shirazu. I don’t think so, but I’m sure some lady or lad will be very impressed with your considerate nature.”

Shirazu is pink-faced. “Okay.”

“You though.” Inspired, the woman turns to Saiko. “Can I have your number?”

Urie’s mouth drops, and Shirazu nearly faints. Mutsuki, however, grins.

“Certainly.” Saiko makes a big show of slowllllllly reading her number. “Call me.”

“I will!” The woman blows her a kiss and saunters off.

Urie shakes his head. “No. Fucking. Way.”

A normal day off for the original Quinx squad, but the difference is, Urie is walking around in a puffy 50s style black skirt that goes down to just above his knees. Everyone notices how awesome it looks and makes a big deal but to him, it’s just something comfortable that Suzuya suggested :)

“What the hell?” Shirazu goggles at Urie’s puffy skirt.

“That looks comfortable,” says Saiko.

“Wow, Urie.” Mutsuki blushes. Something about Urie transgressing gender boundaries warms his heart.

“Not wearing fabric tight around your legs – it’s surprisingly comfortable.” Urie pirouettes before the Quinx Squad. “Suzuya suggested something useful for once. He’s usually just suggesting candy.”

“That, too, is useful,” says Saiko.

“It is not,” Urie snaps, his sour self once again.

“Urie, what are you wearing?” Sasaki drops the food he’s been cooking.

Okay okay okay current timeline Urie and Mutsuki, all with Muuchan being in love with Sasaki and Urie being in love with Mutsuki and so on, Mutsuki catches Urie and Saiko about to leave, Saiko hugs him, then Urie hugs him and nervously tells him he loves him (“just…I love you, you absolute idiot!!”) then he and Saiko run off and judt after, Mutsuki starts crying. A scenario??

“Off to CCG?” Mutsuki asks stiffly, watching Saiko dance out the door where Urie waits, tapping his foot.

“Mucchy!” Saiko turns around with a gasp and launches herself into his arms. “Have fun with the Oggai.”

Fun? Mutsuki laughs nervously.

Saiko draws away and pokes Urie.

He growls, but grabs Mutsuki in an embrace.

Mutsuki gasps. Urie? Hug? Huh?

“Mutsuki, I love you, you absolute idiot,” Urie blurts out.

Mutsuki stares at him. “Me?”

“Come on, Urie.” Saiko winks at Mutsuki as she drags Urie along. “Make him want you.”

Mutsuki watches them – his family – leave. Urie loves him? Why? How?

Tears fill his eyes, and he hugs himself to remember how Urie’s arms felt. Urie loves me.

But how?

Kaneki/Sasaki stays with Quinx and at Rushima Mutsuki is so happy and in love with his sensei ( and not confused and sad like that moment in canon where he talks with Hogi) and Sasaki returns the feelings. Mutsuki also praises Sasaki while having the heart to heart with Hogi instead of thinking how he can’t help but still think kindly of Sasaki despite him leaving like in canon) and Sasaki stops Torso when he shows up from beating up and capturing Mutsuki out of Love and equal devotion

“Sensei, we’re going to battle very soon.” Mutsuki nervously nibbles on his lip.

“How are you feeling?” Sasaki can’t lose another Quinx. Never.

“I’m okay. I’m more worried about you.” Mutsuki hesitates. “Is this what love is? That warm feeling in my chest every time you look at me? Being afraid you won’t be there to give me that feeling anymore?”

“Mutsuki.” Sasaki regards him soberly.

“What?”

Sasaki grabs his hands and looks deep into his eyes. “You’ll never be alone.”

Tears well in Mutsuki’s eyes. “Thank you. And you won’t either – not anymore.”

Later that day, Mutsuki finds himself face-to-face with Saeki.

“Go – stop!” Mutsuki screams as Torso smashes Hogi’s brains out against the cave wall.

“Did you come to see me, little lady?” Torso grins maniacally.

“Get the fuck away from my man!” Haise Sasaki knocks Torso into the cave wall, besides Hogi’s remains. Their bloods mingle, and Mutsuki feels horrified at this blasphemy.

“What?” Torso looks up in confusion as a rinkaku encircles him.

“You will never, ever hurt Mutsuki again. I love him and he loves me, and you can’t get between us,” Sasaki seethes.

Mutsuki raises his bikaku. This is why he loves Sasaki – because Sasaki makes him better.

Torso lunges for Sasaki, and Mutsuki rams his kagune through his neck.

His head tumbles to the ground, and Mutuski falls back. Why does he now pity this headless man?

Sasaki looks over and sees Mutsuki’s shoulders shaking. “Mucchan, it’s not your fault. I promise.”

“Are you sure? Why do predators always find me?”

Sasaki blinks back tears. “I don’t know. But I promise you’ll never be alone.”

Request! A cute little story about how the other q-squad members meet Touka for the first time when they inevitably pair up to fight dragoneki and they think she is beautiful. Then later the find out she is Sasaki’s wife and they’re all like “HOLY FUCK” except Saiko who is screaming “FUCK YEAH!” (Couldn’t get this scenario out of my head lol)

“She’s so cute,” Hsaio whispers to Saiko, watching the little ghoul bark out orders to the rest of Sasaki’s GOAT.

Saiko nods eagerly. She’ll gladly follow this badass lady into battle.

“Alright, Yonebayashi.” Touka puts her hands on her hips. “Let’s save your Maman.”

Higemaru giggles and blushes like a fool.

“What are you staring at? Go back up your squad,” Touka orders. But Higa can see relief in her eyes, relief that they too care about her friend Kaneki.

“What should I do?” Urie Kuki approaches.

“You stay with me and Tsukiyama. We’re gonna distract this beast while Yonebayashi uses her kagune to cut it out.” Touka and Tsukiyama activate their kagunes.

“Oh, and please do something about your green hair friend and his dramatic counterpart!” Touka adds.

“Mutsuki?” Urie’s eyes widen. “I haven’t seen him all day.”

“He’s not back?” Touka looks unsettled. Relieved, but unhappy all at once.

“Let’s focus.” Tsukiyama lifts his koukaku. “Let’s see if Quinxes are all they cracked up to be.”

“My kagune is bigger,” Urie snaps.

Touka can’t resist a laugh, even in all this despair. She sends shards of Rc cells into the dragon. I’ll rescue you yet. “Ken was right about you.”

Hsaio and Higemaru swoop in and deal the first blows to the dragon’s neck.

Saiko fashions her kagune into a claw and sinks deep, deep into the dragon’s flesh. It screams, but Touka keeps firing Rc shards, and Tsukiyama and Urie protect her from any falling debris.

“GOT HIM!” Saiko howls. She rips Kaneki Ken’s limp body from the dragon. It begins to fall, and Hsaio and Higa grab for her.

“Look out!” Touka uses her ukaku to fly for Saiko, at the same time –

no –

Aura Shinsanpei flies for her. “Get the asshole. I’ll get her!”

Touka obeys as Mutsuki scrambles up to Urie. “What happened?! Why are you working with – with her? Don’t you know she’s the reason Sensei left?”

Tsukiyama laughs as Touka and Aura touch back onto the ground, one cradling Kaneki, the other holding Saiko. “She’s not the reason at all. But she may be the reason he lives thus far.”

“Huh?” Urie frowns.

“Tsukiyama!”

Tsukiyama, of course, ignores her. “Touka and Kaneki are married.”

Mutsuki gulps and has the decency to look guilty. Aura flushes.

“HOLY FUCK!” yells Urie.

“No way!” Higemaru does a happy dance.

“That gives me hope,” says Hsaio.

“FUCK YEAH!” Saiko wraps Touka and Maman in a hug.

Touka laughs. Perhaps, so long as Mutsuki isn’t still trying to kill her, she can get used to Kaneki’s strange, strange family.

Saiko x Mutsuki romance please! It’s a lonely ship to be in. Saiko tries her best to save Mutsuki by accepting all the ugly bits and sticking by him through the hardest days of recovery

“Why don’t you just leave? I – I hate women.” Mutsuki clenches his hands. He squeezes his eyes shut, wishing he were anywhere but here.

“No, you don’t, you blockhead. Stop trying to make me hate you!” Saiko stomps her foot.

She pries Mutsuki’s eyelid open. “Hey there, Mucchy.”

Mutsuki sniffles. “I’m grotesque.”

“Hey, I’m the one who gets constantly told she’s overweight.”

“At least you’re pretty! And you’re nice on the inside.” Mutsuki curls in a ball. “I’m neither.”

I think you’re handsome. I think you’re nice inside, too.” Saiko strokes Mutsuki’s hair. “I love you, Mucchan, and I’m not leaving you.”

“But why?” spits Mutsuki.

“Because I love you.” Saiko wraps her arms around Mutsuki. “Shh. Rest. It’s okay. I’ll be here when you’re awake.”

Mutsuki shakes his head. “What if I go nuts and try to hurt you?”

“Then I’ll stop you. I’m not afraid of you, Mutsuki. And I won’t be.” Saiko kisses his forehead. He lays his tired head on her chest and drifts to sleep.

mucchan got drunk and urie had give him a piggyback ride to his bed, then wouldn’t fall asleep unless urie didnt cuddle with him :3

Awwwwwwww.

“Urie-san. U – Urie-shan.” Mutsuki slings his arms around Urie and spins in front of him. “Love me!”

“I do, Tooru.” Urie smiles. He’s a bit tipsy himself – okay, more than a bit. But Mutsuki probably won’t remember this in the morning.

“I can’t walk.” Mutsuki slumps over to rest his head on Urie’s chest.

“We’re almost to our door, Mucchan.”

“No!” Mutsuki tightens his grip on Urie’s shirt. “Love me! Don’t make me walk.”

Urie fights back a grin. “Okay, then.” He lifted Mustuki onto him piggyback style.

“I love you, Kuki,” Mutsuki murmurs, tightening his grip on Urie’s shoulders.

“Don’t throw up on me, please.” Urie marches into the Chateau, up the stairs and into Mutsuki’s bedroom. “Here we are!”

He lays Mutuski on his bed, but Mutsuki shakes his head wildly. “Don’t leave me, Urie! Love me!”

“I do,” Urie protests with a laugh.

Mutsuki holds out his hands. “CUDDLESH.”

“Okay, I’ll just close the door, all right?”

“NO. Cuddle me now.”

Urie shrugs and slips into bed besides Mutsuki. Mutsuki immediately burrows his head in Urie’s chest and falls asleep.

Urie stays awake a while longer, stroking Mutsuki’s shiny hair.

The next morning, Urie and Mutsuki find themselves nursing hangovers and dealing with Facebook fallout, after Saiko posted surreptitious pictures of their cuddlefest.

In the manga when the Quinx and Sasaki crossdressed for a mission Mutsuki gets drunk and acts all happy and exuberant. How about an extension to this scene where Mutsuki, after saluting Sasaki, gets a little handsy with Sasaki and flirts with his beloved sensei, not entirely because of the alcohol. And Sasaki likes the attention Mutsuki pays him.

“Shashaki.” Mutsuki rubs his mentor’s shoulders. “You’re sho pretty. You’re the prettiesht girl here.”

“Mucchy?” Saiko raises her eyebrows.

“Sho pretty. Isn’t she?” Mutsuki leans against Sasaki.

“Yas.” Shirazu raises his glass. “A toast to our pretty Sasaki!”

The Quinx clink their glasses together, and Mutsuki turns back to Sasaki.

“You’re the nicesht pershon I know. Do you like me? Am I your friend?” Mutsuki grips Sasaki’s arm to keep his balance as the room spins around him. “Pleash shay yesh.”

“Of c-c-course, you’re my friend.” Sasaki’s face is purple. But Mutsuki’s eyes are so round and cute and innocent and irresistible.

“Yay!” Mutsuki laughs.

Sasaki leans over and hugs Mutsuki. “See?”

Mutsuki has tears in his eyes. “He likesh me.”

(It’s me again. XD) Could you write Urie proposing to Mutsuki, and maybe as a bonus, their wedding night together? :3

Hello and yasssss you are always welcome.

“Tooru.”

Mutsuki smiles at the sunrise Urie has insisted they have to watch. “Yes?”

He turns around and freezes. “Oh!”

Urie kneels on the dewy grass. In one hand he holds a white rose. In the other, he holds a diamond ring that sparkles in the golden dawn. “Mutsuki Tooru, I love you with all my heart and soul. Will you do me the honor of marrying me?”

Mutsuki’s eyes fill. “Kuku…I…”

Kuki wants him. Kuki knows all his misdeeds, and he loves him.

“Yes,” Mutsuki whispers.

Urie slides the ring on his finger. He stands and seals their pact with a passionate kiss that leaves both hungry for more.

“YESSSSSSSSS!” Saiko hurtles out from behind the trees.

“What?” Mutsuki flushes to see the Quinx Squad, Kaneki and Touka, Akira and Amon, and several others waiting.

“I brewed congratulatory coffee.” Touka hands them both a cup.

——————————————-

“Tooru, you’re my husband,” Urie moans.

The guests have filtered away, and now he remains alone with Mutsuki. They’re in a fancy hotel, because Kaneki begged his friend Tsukiyama to splurge on his children.

“And you’re mine.” Mutsuki draws Urie closer to his body. “You’re quite the blushing groom.”

“I’m drunk.”

“You are not!” Mutsuki exclaims.

“I’m just so happy to be married to you,” Urie admits.

“The feeling is mutual.” Mutsuki takes a deep breath and moves Urie’s hand to his chest.

Urie undoes his binder and kisses the soft skin beneath. “God, Tooru.”

“What?” Mutsuki marvels at Urie’s own chest. He runs his hand down Urie’s muscles.

Urie lifts Mutsuki onto the bed and allows Mutsuki on top of him. Whatever Mucchan is comfortable with, he’s happy to do.

“We have a lifetime of this,” Urie whispers.

“I know.” Mutsuki stops undressing Urie to grin. “I’m happy.”

He can tell from Mutsuki’s bright eyes that he truly is happy. Urie has never before known love so strong that he cares about the other’s happiness before his own.

But now he does. And it feels good

When they couple, they exult in feelings of safety and vulnerability and fun and passion all at once. It’s beautiful, just like the man they each love.

Kaneki/Sasaki never left the Quinx, Shirazu never dies, and they’re all happier for it

“Maman, tell us more about Hide.” Saiko leans over on the couch. Hsaio sits on Saiko’s lap.

“He was beautiful, inside and out.” Kaneki smiles sadly.

“And he supported you no matter what.” Mutsuki marvels, snuggling into his overstuffed chair. Support, just like the Quinx.

“He sounds awesome!” Higemaru punches his hands in the hair.

“He was. His last words I remember were ‘it may not be stylish, Kaneki, but live,’” Kaneki recalls.

“Those are beautiful words,” Aura admits begrudgingly.

“Unstylish, like you,” Shirazu teases. Aura sticks out his tongue.

“Hide’s one of my reasons for not giving up on you all,” Kaneki jokes.

“Yeah, yeah, we all know you would have given up on Urie long ago otherwise,” Shirazu says.

“Hey!” Urie’s mouth drops.

“Well,” says Higemaru, “if Hide went missing during the Anteiku raid, there’s a chance he’ll show up, just like Takizawa and Amon.”

Kaneki looks terrified at the prospect. He’s not ready for that.

But when he looks around his family, he thinks that maybe, just maybe, he could live through that after all.
