Did you hear the news about tg:re ending after this arc? :(

I did!!!

On one hand, I love TG and I’ll miss waiting for a new chapter (unless part 3 happens, though I’m not sure my heart can handle it lol).

On the other, I’m actually excited. This seems to confirm the theory that :re will go until chapter/bone 206, as has been theorized before. Ishida is meticulous about foreshadowing and lining symbolism up just the right way – more so than any author I’ve known (and only J.K. Rowling comes close). So whatever happens, he’s planned this all out. It’ll end in precisely the way and at precisely the time Ishida always meant it to end.

Let’s treasure this. ❤ And the answers we will (hopefully) soon have!

mizurou and michiko parenting? differences and similarities? how does their daughter view them?

Based on @koyuki-tan‘s “Peace Sign.”

– Mizurou is the fun parent. You want to do wild stunts? He’s enabling you to the fullest.

– Michiko is the responsible parent who occasionally scolds you, but you know she loves you.

– Michiko and Mizurou often take their daughter stargazing. By the time the kid is five, she can name all the major constellations.

– Michiko buys their daughter all the clothes she wants. She loves helping their little girl shop.

– Mizurou buys their daughter all the sweets she wants. He’s ruined her dinner appetite on more than one occasion.

– Their respective squads are very involved in their lives, so their kid has plenty of aunts and uncles.

– Mizurou and Michiko love their little girl fiercely, but they also respect that she’s got to live her own life. So they would encourage any interest she has, regardless of whether they like it or not.

– They’d also probably discourage prejudice against ghouls, because, after all, Michiko is a Quinx.

– Their daughter is a lucky girl. ❤

I just found out that Brina Palencia is the English voice of both Touka and Yuno Gasai – so could you write a scenario where they meet (and for the fun of it, Yuno is an One-Eyed Ghoul in this idea)

I don’t know a lot about Future Diary, so I hope this came out okay! And now I want to watch it. o.O

“Another One-Eyed?” Touka snorts at the pink-haired girl before her, who snaps the scissors she holds.

“I’m Yuno Gasai.” She was escorted to the tunnels of the 24th ward by Naki. She’s not sure she likes it.

“Kirishima Touka.” Touka extends her hand. “Do you want coffee?”

“No.” Yuno doesn’t like the bars on the cells. They remind her of what Mom and Dad used to do. “I’m looking for my friend.”

“What’s their name?” Touka asks eagerly.

“Yukiteru.” Her eyes cool. “I have to save him. From those women.”

Touka feels uneasy. Something about this girl reminds her of Kaneki’s little friend, Mutsuki. “We haven’t seen anyone by that name, but we’ll look for him.”

She hesitates. She wants to understand Mutsuki, and maybe this girl too. “Why are you looking for him? Tell me about him.”

Yuno looks at her with suspicion.

“I love romance stories,” Touka says lightly, showing off her wedding ring.

Yuno brightens. She’s married. This girl isn’t a threat. “He…he’s the only one…who cares about me. He makes me happy.”

“Well, I care for you too,” Touka says.

Yuno grins. “He saved me.” He promised I would be his bride. Me, the murderer.

“My husband saved me, too. And I saved him more than a number of times,” Touka jokes. “I was quite the rampaging hellion when we met.”

The two ghouls laugh. Yuno feels hopeful. If Touka’s husband doesn’t think she’s crazy, there’s hope for her and Yukiteru, right?

She grabs Touka’s hand. “Be my friend.”

Can you write about a ghoul (any rc type, any Gender etc) suddenly trying to kill Touka because she killed an older sibling of theirs? Like, they have a trap-detachment ability with their kagune and attack the strongest first so they can more easily attack Touka (and to her surprise is stronger than her). They hate this “ghouls and humans working together” thing. Humans killed their parents, a ghoul – Touka killed their older sibling. Then they get talked to and maybe hugged bc they need it etc

Ayaka is thirteen years old. That’s old enough to know that humans and ghouls can’t work together. Her parents were just slaughtered by CCG. And years before, that bitch, the cafe manager, killed her older brother.

She won’t say his name until she kills Touka. She’ll scream his name before she strikes that ghoul down.

Because her parents being killed by CCG? That she understands. But a ghoul killing ghouls?

There’s no atonement. They should work with their fellow ghouls, not these shitty humans who will return to slaughtering them as soon as Kaneki is freed.

Goat begins to prepare to advance towards CCG. It’s suicide.

“You can’t be serious!” Ayaka screams suddenly, stepping forward.

Touka looks back with surprise from her position besides those former CCG officials, those humans.

She flies at Touka, using her detachable ukaku to distract. She nearly strikes her, but that stupid blonde human knocks Touka out of the way.

The tall human – the half-ghoul, now – pins Ayaka to the ground. “Kid, don’t make me hurt you.”

Hopelessness wells up inside Ayaka. Tears burn her eyes, but she can’t let them fall. “Why?”

Why has she failed again? Why is the world moving on, asking forgiveness for killers before she has had a chance for vengeance? Why has the world forgotten her?

“No one’s forgotten you,” says Touka, and Ayaka cringes. She’s been speaking aloud all this time.

“You did,” Ayaka accuses. “You killed my brother. Ito Akio. You kicked off his head five years ago.”

Touka blinks. Truth is, she doesn’t remember. But that sounds like her. “I’m so sorry.”

Ito Ayaka…weren’t her parents caught up in CCG’s genocide? Pity stirs in Touka’s heart.

“Fuck your apologies! I want him back, dammit!” Ayaka pounds the ground like a two-year-old. The half-human still holds her down, and she isn’t strong enough to save herself. “Why are we with humans now? We keep forgiving and giving and giving and there’s almost nothing left! I don’t – I don’t want to move on!”

Touka sighs and steps forward. She reaches a hand across to wipe the tears and dirt off Ayaka’s cheeks.

“I was a stupid and wrong as a kid, just like you. And I’m sorry about your brother. I wish I could bring him back.” Touka swallows. “But I can’t. All I can do is say that, if you want to honor your brother’s memory, you should aim for a world where kids don’t resort to violence as teens. So there’s never another one like him.”

“I want him back.”

“Me too,” says Touka, pushing Amon away to grab the girl in an embrace.

Ayaka tries to pull away, then surrenders to sob on Touka’s shoulder.

“You’re gonna be okay,” Touka tells her. “It’s not okay, but you will be.”

Ayaka looks around with a shudder. She suddenly realizes she may have exposed them by delaying.

She’s a monster, too. She expects Goat to be disgusted with her display, or hating Touka.

She sees neither. Just kindness and sympathy, and Yotsume is holding out her hand. Like she has a new family.

Ayaka sobs more, but she allows Goat to continue their march towards CCG, because where else will she go?

And Amon even offers her a piggyback ride to CCG.

She hasn’t forgiven, not yet, but someone else has forgiven her. And that gives her inexplicable hope.

Hakatori meets Hige’s family (like the blood relatives) and is wary of meeting humans

I just love this ship.

“Are you nervous?” Higemaru pulls Hakatori closer so he can plant a kiss on her forehead.

“A little,” she says, her cheeks coloring. “Especially…now.”

Higemaru follows her gaze to the gated mansion he’s always called home. This would be intimidating for anyone, much more a ghoul.

“I’m sorry,” he says nervously.

“It’s not you’re fault you’re rich,” she scoffs, poking his nose. “I just…I’m a destitute ex-terrorist. And a ghoul.”

“And my girlfriend. The girlfriend I love very much,” Higemaru assures her. “I’ll defend you. I mean, you can defend yourself, but I’d like to try, too.”

“I love you,” says Hakatori, shaking her head.

“I love you too,” he sings. They stride up the walkway to the door.

“Is this her?” His mother swings open the door. “Hello, dear!”

To Hakatori’s surprise, Higemom rushes outside to embrace her. “I’m so happy to meet you after all the wonderful things Hige’s told me.”

“Uh, pleasure to meet you too,” says Hakatori uncertainly.

“Come in, come in.” Higemom gestures for them to follow her.

Higedad is a tall, mustachioed man sipping whiskey in their kitchen. He nods at Hakatori. “Pleased to meet you, Tomoe.”

“Call me Hakatori,” she says, extending her hand.

“Of course; it is your nickname.” Higedad shakes her hands without batting an eye at ghoulflesh. Or her black fingernails.

“Can I get you anything to drink? We bought Rc-filled wine,” says Higemom.

“Oh, you didn’t have to.” Hakatori is shocked. They’re…so nice?

“Nonsense. You’re part of the family.” Higemom bustles around, fetching wineglasses.

“Hi.” A pretty woman emerges from the crowd of relatives to extend her hand. “I’m Higemaru’s Aunt Mitsuko.”

“Oh.” Hakatori swallows. The wife of Higemaru’s fireman uncle, the one murdered by Donato Porpora.

“It’s wonderful to see ghouls who are committed and principled like you. I know Hide’s probably told you some things about me, but please don’t think I judge you.” Aunt Mitsuko hugs Hakatori, who is too shocked to return the hug.

Higemaru grins. “See? My family’s great.”

“They are.” Hakatori’s expression grows happier.

Higemaru squeezes her hand and bends over to whisper in her ear. “Maybe someday soon they’ll be your family, too.”

Mutsurie au in which urie randomly meets mutsuki on a night club shirazu forced him to attend. He was drinking alone and approaches him.just bc he lost shirazu. They attend the same college, urie studies art while mucchan studies japanese literature and they spend the night leaving the club and walking around talking and getting to know eavh other until the morning when urie goes home to a shirazu who is pretty sure urie didn’t spend the night alone, but urie is just a sodt guy wanted to-

-Talk about art with someone, nonthelss shirazu was proud 😉

“Hey.” Urie glances down at the cute boy sipping a gin and tonic at the bar. He’s mad that Shirazu left him for a dance off against some curvy pigtailed girl, so he’s going to try his luck talking to a cute boy. “Gin and tonics are my favorite, too.”

“Hi.” The boy glances up. His features are delicate, his hair emerald green. Urie’s heart constricts. “You go to the college around here too, right?”

“Yes.” Urie frowns. “I’ve never seen you. I’m Urie Kuki, majoring in art.”

“Oooh.” Their eyes sparkle. “I’m M – Mutsuki Tooru, majoring in Japanese Literature.”

“Really? There’s a lot of amazing art based on Japanese literature.” Urie sits down besides Mutuski.

“Isn’t there? It’s inspiring.” Mutsuki sips his drink.

They talk for an hour, but Urie is having a hard time focusing. “Do you want to leave here? We can take a walk.”

Mutsuki nods eagerly. “I just came because my friend Saiko dragged me here.”

“My roommate dragged me.” Urie laughs.

They spend the night talking about literature and the arts, the nuances and differences between the two. Urie’s favorite artist (Dali). Mutsuki’s favorite type of literature (haiku). Their lack of family. Their dreams for the future.

“Wait, is that the sunrise?” Mutsuki points ahead to where the sky is pale gray instead of black.

Urie squints. “Well fuck.”

“It’s okay. It was fun.” Mutsuki giggles, and Urie cherishes the sweet sound.

“I can walk you home if you need to sleep.”

“Okay.” Mutsuki smiles again. They stop along the way at :Re cafe, where Urie orders them both coffees.

When Urie finally enters his room with Shirazu, he finds his roommate awake, arms crosses, with a big grin on his face.

“What were you up to last night, without a word?” he teases.

“Talking.” Urie blushes as he places the coffee cup on a nightstand besides his bed. “With someone I met. About art mostly.”

“Nothing else?” Shirazu is stunned.

“Well, yeah?” Urie climbs into bed. “God, I’m tired.”

“You better date this person.” Shirazu points at him. “I’m proud of you, Urie Kuki, the man who leaves a nightclub to talk all night about art.”

Two words: Juuzou’s. Stitches. ♡

– around Christmas he likes to use red and green stitches. He has also stitched rainbows onto himself in solidarity with Pride.

– Juuzou’s stitches are very attractive to certain people. This includes Hanbee.

– One time, Juuzou tried to stitch Hanbee, who insisted on it. Unfortunately, Hanbee fainted once the needle approached his wrist, and that was promptly canceled. If you ask Mizurou nicely, he will show you the video he took.

– if you ever become Juuzou’s SO, he would love to do stitching on you, too. But only if you want.

– He may stitch your name on himself. This is how CCG finds out you are dating.

– Juuzou loves to stitch clothing, too. If you or anyone you know needs a button sewn back on, or a hem fixed, he’s happy to help you. His required payment is donuts.

– Juuzou has stitched a heart over his heart. It’s the one stitching he doesn’t usually remove.

higetori angst

Higemaru tries not to scream. Once again, he’s the helpless puppet of Donato Porpora.

Only this time, he did it for her. For Hakatori. He shoved her out of the Priest’s way, and now Donato has him on his knees.

“Hmm, shall I pick up where I left off last time?” Donato purrs.

“Urie’s not here,” Higemaru mutters.

“Yes, he’s not here to turn full ghoul and save you. Hypocrites.” Donato’s eyes flash. “Urie’s father cost me my son. So I can take his son’s son. Of a sort.”

Not again. Higemaru flinches as Donato’s hands tighten on his shoulder.

“The fuck?” Hakatori holds her quinques aloft, along with her bikaku. CCG and ghouls alike assemble behind her. The entire team sent to take down the Priest, save one.

“He’s my friend. Let him go.”

Donato chuckles. “You’re an interesting one. The Bin brothers’ protege, correct? I like you.”

“Thank you,” Hakatori says patiently. “Now release my friend.”

“I’m sorry, but I just can’t do that.”

Hakatori rolls her eyes. “Pretty sure you can.”

“He’s a pretty thing. Do you like him?” Donato asks.

Hakatori starts. Well, why not? “He’s my boyfriend.”

“What?” shouts a CCG member. Another ghoul hisses. This sort of mixing – it was okay for the scientist and the ghoul, and the half-ghoul Kaneki and his wife, people with questionable loyalties at best, but a Quinx and an Aogiri member?

“Yes, a Quinx and a ghoul are dating, get over it,” Hakatori says irritably.

“Hmm, now I’m almost curious who will kill him first, them or me,” Donato muses.

“We could always not kill?” suggests Higemaru. A shadow falls on them.

Donato spins around as a kakuja slams into him. Hakatori flies forward, swinging her quinques to remove Donato’s kagune. She then grabs Higemaru and leaps to safety.

“Hello, Father,” says Amon Koutarou. He straightens. “You’ll be arrested again. There is nothing more for you.”

Hakatori smiles down at Higemaru. “I couldn’t care less what they think.”

She leans down to kiss him.

Higemaru returns the kiss eagerly, and the rest of the Quinx clap. Even if CCG doesn’t have their back, their families do.

“Also,” says Hakatori, “if you ever push me out of the way again, I’ll tear your arm off myself.”

Higemaru blushes. “You know you loved it.”

“After you lived, sure.”

Bring on the crack ship of Shio and Rikai…(lol)

Check out @yurakumaotter on Twitter! They have plenty of Rikashio art. 🙂

– Rikai initiates by kissing Shio at the Touken wedding reception.

– Shio gasps and fixes the flowers in both of their hair before hugging Rikai and maybe kissing again.

– Neither of them had ever been kissed before.

– Yusa is not surprised. In fact, he is filming it, along with Yomo stealing Nishiki’s glasses.

– Hirako is slightly alarmed, because they’re in a small squad and, you know, it could end poorly.

– It’s Tsukiyama who convinces Hirako to just roll with it. With Chie’s help (aka human food knowledge), he creates a dinner date for the two kids.

– Hinami helps dress up Rikai, and Yusa and Hirako take Shio.

– Shuu, Chie, and Touka serve them course after course, and Kaneki serves  dessert.

– It’s the best night of their short lives. ❤

Uta first time HCs? No one ever does him but that’s probably cuz he’s an old man

He could be a very old virgin. You never know. 😉

– Uta is the initiator, relatively early in the relationship. He’s been excited to experience sex with the person he probably loves.

– If his partner isn’t comfortable at the time, he’ll back off immediately and satiate himself on their kisses. But if they are, he’s thrilled.

– Is unashamed that he has no experience. He knows the timing is right now, not before. Would probably prefer a partner with some experience, but accepting of either.

– He loves exploring his partner’s body. Every curve, muscle, hair and birthmark is fascinating to him.

– If his partner is turned on by his tattoos, all the better.

– He really likes teasing his partner and joking with them.

– If his partner has a body that can get pregnant, he is very considerate of condoms and other birth control methods.

– Loud. Very loud, and probably into scratching and nibbling his partner.

– Is immediately ready to DO THIS AGAIN.
