You know who I haven’t seen on this blog in a long time? The Uihai family! Do you have any fluffy headcanons to share?

– Hairu was as boisterous as Masanori when they visited Disneyland. Her favorite ride was the teacups.

– Masanori preferred the swings, and Ui, the Haunted Mansion.

– Hairu then teased Ui about having a dark side.

– Ui vomited after the teacups, after he went on them over and over for Hairu’s sake.

– Hairu and Masanori have discovered a new addiction: cotton candy.

– Until Ui discovers that he’s addicted, too.

– The Uihai parents decide they cannot have it in their home. Because it’s dangerous.

– But every time Masanori sneaks it in (and he does, thanks to his many mischievous friends), they are secretly delighted.

Aura angst hcs?

TW abuse.

– Aura was not loved by his family – he was too quiet, too awkward. Aunt Kiyoko was the only one who showed him true kindness. Hence his devotion.

– When he was a child, he tried to beat up an adult CCG agent who made fun of Kiyoko for being a woman.

– Sometimes he thinks he’s useless unless he surpasses Kiyoko – but the thing is, he doesn’t want to surpass her. He wants to keep Kiyoko his idol. Even if it makes him worthless to his family and CCG.

– He has a tender side for Mutsuki because he remembers how his parents hurt him when he dressed up like a girl or played with dolls or anything gender-bending. And he hopes that by being kind to Mucchy, he’s being kind to his younger self.

– His inferiority complex cost him his first and only girlfriend in the academy. He’s still mopey about it, two years later.

– To have Aura fall in love with you, you’d need to give him lots of affection and encouragement, and it’d still be hard for him to believe you view him as worthy.

– Kiyoko is probably planning on convincing San-chan to attend therapy.

Godfather Hirako plz

– after all he’s done, he BETTER be the godfather of any Uihai or Arieto child.

– Not of Yusa, Shio, or Rikai’s kids, though. Because they’re never having sex.

– Godfather Hirako is very fun. He’s slipping treats to them as soon as their parents aren’t looking. He’s taking them to amusement parks, or at least for ice cream on quieter days.

– He regales everyone with tales of Arima, Ui, Hairu, etc.’s heroics.

– He also stops any Squad Zero kid mischief with his godchildren.

– That’s a lie.

– He tries to stop, but Shio is unstoppable.

– He may be that forgettable person who blends into a crowd, but his godfather skills stand out.

Yusa finding about Marie’s crush on Nakarai.

From @koyuki-tan‘s “Peace Sign.”

– he at first pretends it doesn’t bother him at all.

– But Shio and Rikai notice immediately that something is wrong.

– Yusa tries to act tough and stab things with his quinque. But Yusa is not a stabby person, shall we say. So he eventually cries silently.

– But Shio and Rikai seem to know intuitively. They wrap their arms around him and let him cry.

– Shio assures Yusa that he is NOT inferior to Nakarai, while Rikai makes up jokes for “accidents” Nakarai could have.

– Hirako appears and is stunned to see Yusa crying. “What’s going on?”

– “We’re healing a broken heart. Look away; this doesn’t concern you.’ Rikai snaps her fingers.

– But eventually Hirako is allowed to be in on the secret, and comforts Yusa.

Speaking of appearance, behavior, power and intelligence, who do you think is superior: Kaneki or Furuta?

Appearance:

Personally, I will give this one to Furuta, because I dig the long-haired, quasi-feminine broken boy look (waves to Loki, Illumi Zoldyck, and Shigaraki Tomura). But, objectively, they’re both beautiful men.

Behavior:

Kaneki. Furuta’s fun, and I desperately want to know the depths of his broken soul, but Kaneki’s much more open about who he is, and open to learning about the value of life.

Power:

Physically, I think half-ghoul Kaneki probably has the fight experience to best half-ghoul Furuta. There’s a reason Suzuya, not Fruit-chan, fought Kaneki.

Intelligence:

I’m giving this a tie. Kaneki might beat Furuta for traditional book smarts – but Furuta’s world-wisdom dwarfs Kaneki’s. However, Kaneki tends to hide his smarts behind idealism and willful ignorance, so his behavior doesn’t always match his intelligence. At the end of the day, Furuta’s plan worked because of Kaneki’s past trauma, not because he was smarter. -__-

In honor of National Trans Day of Visiblity / International Transgender Day of Visibility, any gender identity headcanons for the TG cast?

– I get the reasoning for saying Mutsuki isn’t trans – apparently he’s still using female pronouns now? – but I really hope he is.

– I believe Nico is canonically trans, but for anyone who doubts this, I will insist that she is a woman until I die. And she probably had a really hard time before the clowns, being both a ghoul and trans, until the clowns welcomed her as she was.

– Karren questioned her gender a lot, and while she eventually decided she was female, she gives a giant middle finger to gender stereotypes and probably wouldn’t return to women’s clothing anytime soon.

– Suzuya is a man. He knows this, and he still doesn’t give a shit about wearing dresses and makeup at times. Because fuck gender roles – they’re nonsense. He eventually gets his entire squad to wear dresses on days off. It’s great.

– While Uta is cisgender, he has totally explored drag.

– Tanakamaru Mougan. What if Mougan is a tragically closeted transgender female? Whose emphasis on manliness and muscle is just a facade? And Aura Kiyoko is the only one who knows…and they’re secretly in love…but they hide it because CCG would disapprove of literally everything…

Okay but what is human!Seidou’s reaction to working out that Houji used to be a thing with Tatata

– He’s stunned. He ignores it for a while. It takes Akira commenting on it before he finally faces the truth.

– Bursts into Houji’s office, having done a shot with Akira for bravery. WHAT THE FUCK HOUJI.

– YOU FUCKED TATARA.

– Houji is more concerned about the crudeness of Seidou’s language than the rest.

– “Did you like him?” When Houji refuses to answer, Seidou knows it’s an answer itself, and goes into shock.

– Houji calls Akira and Amon to escort Seidou home for the day, and threatens to kill them all if word ever leaks about this.

– So Akira and amon take Seidou to a bar to cope further.

Could please do headcanons about Ayato and Tatara being with a human partner?

Ayato

– Confident in his SO’s abilities to take care of themselves.

– But over time, Eto suggests he let his SO live in Aogiri HQ for their safety, and he knows it’s a good move.

– Denies he’s in love for a very long time. His SO will have to kiss him and make the first move.

– “God dammit.” He is confused that he’s happy to have fallen in love with a human. But with encouragement from Eto, he moves closer to accepting his feelings.

– Anyone insults his beloved, there will be hell to pay.

– He’s a bit nervous to have Touka discover he’s dating a human, so his SO takes it upon themselves to introduce themselves to Touka.

Tatara

– he is very, very, very protective. A bit too much. Any Aogiri member threatens them, and there will be hell to pay. They’ll have to discuss this at some point.

– The human probably helped him out hiding from CCG, or investigated him to find out who he is, and Tatara had to stop them. Either way, they wound up discussing far more than him, and realized despite their differences, they had a lot in common.

– When his s/o found out about Fei and Yan, and mourned them, Tatara was stunned…and that’s the point he will later realize he fell in love.

– Eventually, Tatara invites them to live at Aogiri HQ…with him. This prompts an avalanche of kisses.

– Despite Tatara’s work in Aogiri, he LOVES their humanity. He’s fascinated. Over time, he finds himself more empathetic towards humans as a whole.
