– Amon makes sure they develop a taste for donuts, and Akira makes delicious Mado-style curry. Their kids are connoisseurs by age 5.
– They have multiple cats and dogs. Because Akira had childhood cats, and Amon had a childhood dog.
– I imagine both are a bit hesitant to bring up the subject of the grandparents to the kids until they’re older. Especially Amon.
– Akira and Amon love sports with their kids, and crafts, and reading. Their kids are extremely well-rounded.
– They never miss a playdate with the Touken kids.
– Maris Stella is probably their biggest initial issue. Brat cat is not ready to give up its throne to tiny humans.
– Akira and Amon are probably very nervous about how their larger community will view their quarter-ghoul kids. There’s a lot of personal and interpersonal reckoning to be done.

1. So it’s no secret that I really wanted Uta’s darkest secret to be that he is the original One-Eyed King. However, since this looks lesssssss likely atm, we’ll try something else. But! This is the headcanon I desperately wanted.
2. Uta’s darkest secret is that he once helped Arima Kishou, even knowing that Arima killed Renji’s sister. You see, Uta has known about the Washuu Garden for a long time, and done nothing. That the very people who have oppressed ghouls are ghouls themselves, who rape and kill and use children like pawns in a bid to become human, is too much despair for Uta to bear. So he helped Arima, just once, get out of a tough situation. It still felt like a betrayal of his friend, though.
Sometimes he thinks of telling Renji. But he’s almost more scared of Renji’s forgiveness than his rage.
Suzuya Juuzou
– is very indulgent of his kid’s fondness for sweets.
– tries to follow Mr. Shinohara’s model with him, and as a result, his kid grows up calling Mrs. Shinohara “Grandma.”
– Always energetic and willing to try whatever craziness his child has concocted.
Hanbee Abara
– Sometimes he wonders if his hyper, mischievous child deliberately torments him.
– Will cry if he can’t find his child for 0.5 seconds.
– Loves giving his child “airplane” rides on his impressively tall shoulders.
Mizurou Tamaki
– He is determined to impress upon his child a sense of true humor.
– loves coloring with his kid, and ‘cooking.’ Usually that means both of them need to shower off the flour, sauce, and water else they’ve spilled on themselves.
– All in all, a very easygoing, fun dad.
Keijin Nakarai
– buys his kid all the pets.
– will probably tear up at every developmental milestone.
– takes parenting very seriously. He and Mizurou often meet up to balance each other out with their different perspectives.
Miyuki Mikage
– His kids are raised on Star Wars and Star Trek.
– His partner managed to convince him to wait to show them The X Files until they are much older.
– Loves playing dress-up with his kids. A villain? A princess? An ALIEN? He’ll play them all. Even a villainous alien princess.
1. Hanbee Abara
– He tries to pretend he isn’t, but he’s so obviously distressed that Suzuya calls the entire squad in to comfort him.
2. Washuu Matsuri
– He was much more vocal about his fear as a child, but as it turns out, those were the few times Yoshitoki would create safety forts with him. He felt loved during thunderstorms, despite his fear.
3. Kirishima Ayato
– Only as a child. Touka would tease him relentlessly, and even now, during a storm, she mentioned his terror to Hinami and embarrassed our favorite edge lord.
4. Mutsuki Tooru
– He is not a fan. Urie lends him earphones to tune it out.
– Oneshot!Neki would be a little more afraid of holding a baby. Like, stiff. He’ll get tears in his eyes, but he won’t cry.
– What does Oneshot!Neki know of parenting? Holy shit, does he feel cranky.
– Oneshot!Touka is nervous that their kid will take after her vices – specifically her difficulty controlling her appetite. What if they’re hunted down because of their kid? She can’t lose her child.
– Not to mention, they both agonize over telling their kid what they are, and what they’ve done.
– Oneshot!Touka loves cradling her baby in her arms, rocking them back and forth, and singing to them quietly.
– Oneshot!Neki will watch this from behind a door, a tender smile on his face.
– Eventually, he will enter the room and take them both in his arms, and promise to protect them. Touka will then vow the same.
– Yomo would be the perfect dad. He’d rope Uta and Itori into helping.
– Nishiki has carved out the wild uncle space for himself.
– Koma and Irimi constantly play peek-a-boo with the ghoul.
– Touka hires Chie to investigate where the baby could have come from.
– Touka loves holding the baby, though she fears caring for a ghoul baby in this dangerous world.
– She is, however, determined to keep the baby safe. Over time, she almost hopes the kid’s true family wants her to adopt it. Though she knows the family is probably dead, anyhow.
– The fights between Touka and Nishiki on naming the kid are of legendary proportions.
Ooooooh.
“Um, hi!” Rize has never thought she would ever be here. About to get Monochrome of Rainbows signed by Sen Takatsuki herself.
“Hello, dear.” A small, mint-haired woman smirks at her.
“Can you sign this? I love your stories. They’re my favorite.” Rize holds out the book with uncharacteristically shaking hands.
“Of course, my dear. What’s your name?” Eto notes how similar this girl looks to the missing garden ghoul. And damn, is she pretty.
“Um, it’s – it’s Kamishiro Rize.” Rize brushes back a lock of hair.
“Excellent.” Eto draws a small owl on Rize’s book before handing it back to her.
Rize’s face is red. “Thank you so much.”
“Thank you, dear.” Eto smiles slyly. She wants to know more about this Kamishiro Rize. She is intriguing. And so beautiful.
Rize skips out of the bookstore. She clutches the book to her chest and sighs. “She is so beautiful.”
Suzuya
– Probably some random afternoon, when he’s eating a lollipop.
– Suzuya looks up at you and smiles sweetly. “I really love you, [name], you know?”
– throws his arms around you and buries his face in your shoulder.
Ayato
– says it grumpily, as if he’s offended. Crosses his arms and looks away.
– Is very happy when you confess you love him, too.
– His heart rate starts to slow down to normal, but then you kiss him, and he nearly faints. 😀
Uta
– Probably sneaks up behind you in HySy.
– Warps his arms around you and pulls you close as he breathes in your scent.
– “I love you,” he murmurs in your ear before kissing your shoulders, neck,, everywhere but your lips. Just to tease.
Shuu
– Shuu has undoubtedly planned a romantic dinner/getaway. There are probably diamonds and roses involved.
– Unfortunately for Shuu, you probably make a remark about cuisine or fashion or literature, that is exactly what he would think, and he just stops in his tracks.
– “I love you,” he blurts out. You’ll have to console him for ruining his plan, but when you say you love him back, he no longer cares about his careful plan.
