“I’m shit.” Takizawa concludes his self-diatribe, leaving Kurona open-mouthed.

“Stop it. You ate your parents unknowingly. I knowingly ate my sister in a stupid attempt to save us both. And I failed!” Kurona leaps in front of Seidou and grabs his hands in hers. She shakes him. “Get up off your ass and forgive yourself!”

He’s taken aback by the fire in her eyes. “Uh…”

“Or I can’t forgive myself,” Kurona whispers.

“I know you’re petty enough,” Takizawa grouses. Despite the tension, they both snicker.

And then Kurona covers his mouth with hers. Her teeth clack against his, and Seidou realizes that, subconsciously, he’s already opened his mouth.

How do I deserve this?

Takizawa inhales as he pulls her closer, deepening their kiss like lovers might. Perhaps, forgiveness starts with returning a kiss.

How do the canon/basically canon ships partners react to getting told by their significant other to kiss them? (add fururize in there too bc I’m still said over my fruit boy)

Touken – Touka melts inside and takes her time; Kaneki frantically acquiesces.

Akiramon – Amon sweeps Akira in his arms and gives her a long, lingering kiss; Akira tackles him first.

Ayahina – Ayato asks if she’s sure and blushes; Hinami gives Ayato the longest, sweetest look of his life before rewarding him.

Utaren – Uta gives Yomo a teasing peck; Yomo basically gives Uta full mouth-to-mouth.

Mutsurie – Mutsuki is excited but nervous; Urie involuntarily shivers with amazement.

Nakimiza – Naki adds lots of sound effects and laughter; Miza kisses him with full seduction-mode.

Takeomi/Yoriko – Takeomi bows and states how honored he is; Yoriko still turns bright pink.

Tsukikana – Tsukiyama pulls out the rose he’s been keeping in his pocket and says “but of course, ma chere!”; Karren leaps atop him.

Uihai – Ui gasps and momentarily freezes; Hairu takes a bite of melon bun to tease him first.

Fururize – Furuta squeals and dies of happiness; Rize bites his lips like they’re food.

Takirona – Seidou catches his breath in wonder; Kurona responds with “I was wondering when you’d ask.”

“Kuro? Kuro!” Takizawa leans over her in bed, shaking his sobbing lover awake.

“Seidou?” Kurona blinks back tears.

She’s here.

Nashiro is gone.

“Your sister?” he prompts, feeling ashamed of prying, but more afraid of leaving her to suffer alone. Kuro’s the best part of his life.

“I dreamt I watched her die again. But she wasn’t dead. Me – I – when I consumed her, I killed her. In my dream, she screamed and I screamed, but it was too late.” Kurona hunches her shoulders, as tears track down her cheeks. “It was all my fault.”

“It wasn’t,” Seidou says gruffly. “It wasn’t, not at all.”

“But – suppose she was alive? Suppose I did kill her – I’m so scared of that, Seidou.” Kurona grabs his hands.

“You didn’t. Take it from someone who ate his own parents.” Seidou cracks a half-smile. “I feel at fault, too. Heck, I was at CCG and I wouldn’t have helped you even then. You – you were always better than me.”

“No, I wasn’t.” Kurona leans her head on Seidou’s bare chest. She loves the sound of his steady heartbeat. “We just had different lives.”

“Well,” says Seidou, kissing her forehead, “I’m very glad you are here now.”

“I’m glad you’re here.” Kurona pulls his lips towards hers. “Nashiro would approve.”

“That’s all that matters,” Seidou jokes, rolling atop this marvelous woman who somehow, by some miracle or fortune, loves him.

Um….I know this sounds blunt…..but uh……Takirona fucking against a wall…..?

– It happened right before Kurona went off to find Kanou and confront her past, for her sake, for Nashiro’s sake, for Takizawa’s sake.

– she told him to make sure she missed him, and when he asked how like the idiot he is, Kurona kissed him passionately.

– Neither of them had any desire to hold back. Seidou pushed her into a wall, and she straddled his hips, as they kissed and bit each other’s faces.

– Kurona liked pulling his hair, and Seidou liked nibbling her chest.

– When they collapsed onto the floor, panting in each others arms, both of them had to admit they’d never done it before, which drew childlike giggles from both of them.

– Despite their crazed setting, they both felt a moment’s respite. Because for once both of them felt loved and accepted, and like they had someone to hold onto (figuratively and literally).

Can I have a scenario of Kurona seeking Takizawa after her confrontation with Kanou at his mother’s grave? :)

One Takirona scenario coming right up.

“Takizawa! You okay?” Kurona is relieved to see him holed up in the abandoned warehouse she left him in. Hakatori is out, probably scavenging for food.

“Other than the city being taken over by a kagune?” Takizawa shrugs. “Yeah. I’m fine.”

He scowls. Kurona’s eyes are bloodshot. “The fuck happened to you? Did you find him? ”

“K – Kanou.” Kurona doesn’t know whether to dissolve into tears or scream. She settles for punching a hole in the wall. “He took his own life.”

“In front of you?” Takizawa is glad that motherfucker is dead. But – but Kurona didn’t deserve this.

She nods, kneeling onto he ground. “He wasn’t even sorry. He just wanted to go out once he’d fulfilled his desires. Apparently this whole mess – this dragon – is that.”

Kurona gasps through her tears. “He didn’t care. He never cared about me.”

“I know, but that still hurts, right?” Takizawa recalls his feelings when Houji tried to kill him. The only parent he had left, the one he’d given everything for, just to grasp his approval once more, and his parent hadn’t wanted anything to do with him.

Kurona grabs Takizawa. “He was my last link to Shiro. He ruined our lives, and he never cared. It’s too – his death was too good for him.”

“It was,” Seidou agrees darkly. “I would have gladly forced him to stay alive and suffer for what he did to us fucked half-breeds. If for one second, he could feel the agony.” He pauses. “But I feel it, Kurona.”

“I know you do.” Kurona hiccups. “That’s why you’re my closest friend now.”

“I’m not gonna abandon you, either.” Seidou smirks.

“Nor I you.” Kurona leans her head on Seidou’s breast, just over his beating heart. “You’re all I have left.”

not really a scenario or anything i’ve just been really deep in my takirona feels recently: youtube(.)com/watch?v=65dr9snyyZA her bangs/dark hair and the way her movements keep in her in one place versus his baggy shirt/the way his hair falls around his face and big movements makes me think of seidou and kuro and the difference in posture when they were walking through the hall to get the suppressants and then when they decided to fight amon. (and also of course the added hint of romance)

Kurona’s earphones are wedged into her ears, blasting K-Pop to hype herself up for what she knows she shouldn’t do, but desperately wants to.

She sways to the music as she stands outside :Re. The night is still. Most people are asleep by now.

Someone slinks up behind her. Or, more like stumbles, but he always stumbles.

“Sneaking off?” Seidou breathes against her shoulder.

Kurona removes one earphone. “Considering it.”

“Where will you go?” Seidou peers up at her.

“I want to find him. Kanou. Finding him would give Goat an advantage.” Kurona’s voice falls. “And I need to confront him. One last time.”

“I understand.” Seidou shivers. He doesn’t ever want to face Kanou again, but he’s not everyone. And he’s a coward who gave in to Kanou’s torments. “You should go. Kaneki will understand.”

Kurona nods. “I just…this was the one place where I felt like I belonged, you know? After Shiro.”

“I do.” Though he could never quite allow himself a place here, acceptance nipped on his heels all the same. “There’s somewhere I have to go, too.”

“Hmm?” Kurona raises her eyebrows.

“Hakatori. She’s alone and starving. She…she’s so young.” Seidou barks laughter. “I suppose I think that if I help her, it’s like I’m helping my younger self.” So selfish.

“You should go to her.” Kurona slowly swivels to face him. “You know, you’ve a good man, Seidou.”

His eyes widen, bright with tears. “I’m not even a man. I’m a ghoul.”

“You’re a good person, then. I’m not, really. But, you know, not many have changed species entirely. Not even Kaneki has. He’s still half-human. You and I have. I understand you, and I understand you’re good. Deep down, in here.” Kurona pokes his heart.

Seidou’s lips curled. “I’d like to think that if we’d met at CCG, we’d still be friends.”

“And then traitors together,” Kurona agrees, and he chuckles with humor this time.

“Best of luck.” Seidou’s hands brush hers.

“We’ll see each other again.” Kurona grabs his hands and squeezes. “And, Seidou, I’m proud of who you are.”

– Kaneki buys her a ghoul-friendly cake. Three tiers, like a wedding cake.

– Touka has bought him a first edition of his Franz Kafka’s Metamorphosis.

– Kaneki tacles Touka and takes her back for an early night. 😉

Ayahina

– Ayato forgot it was Valentine’s Day. After cursing himself out, he races to buy her a card before she wakes up.

– She knew he forgot, but it’s okay. She has her own surprise for him.

– Ayato returns, having hastily scribbled his devout love in her card.

– Hinami has bought Ayato a parakeet. Ayato practically cries in happiness.

Akiramon

– Amon is as smooth as Touka’s coffee. Flowers, chocolate, Maris Stella to pat as soon as Akira awakens.

– Akira is ready to counter him with ghoul-suited food for him, sweetened with as much sugar as a ghoul can tolerate.*

– Takes Akira out to a spicy curry shop for dinner.

*Given that Kaneki originally ate sugar cubes with blood, I’m guessing ghouls can tolerate some sugar, and Akira is ON it.

Seiaki

– Takizawa is terrified that he hasn’t bought her enough chocolate.

– His heart-shaped box is half the size of Akira.

– Akira laughs and tells him thank you, before revealing they have plans to spend the day in a dog and cat cafe.

Takirona

– Takizawa is a bit shy, but he’s bought Kurona flowers and Touka’s magnificent coffee.

– She kisses him and tells him he’s more than enough to make her happy.

– They spend their night in, watching Netflix and cuddling and talking about feelings.

Mutsurie

– Urie sweeps Mutsuki off his feet immediately.

– He’s pleased when Mutsuki promptly knocks his feet out from under him.

– They’re discovered making out in the halls outside their room.

Shiraiko

– Shirazu is stunned to wake up to Saiko serving him breakfast in bed.

– When he asks her how she woke up in time, she cheerfully says she didn’t go to sleep, because he is that important to her.

– She of course then snuggles with him, cuddling and eating the feast she’s prepared (with Kaneki’s cooking help).

Hsaiko

– Hsaio cosplays as Saiko’s favorite manga character to wake her up.

– Saiko insists that both can be late for work. … Not for sleep. 😉

– Saiko runs around bragging about her sexy girlfriend, and consults Hairu for how marriage is best sprung to a garden ghoul.

Suzuhan

– Hanbee takes Suzuya out for ice cream.

– Suzuya takes Hanbee to the latest Disney movie. He likes it, too. By the end, Hanbee is sobbing into Suzuya’s arms.

– At home, Hanbee discovers flowers decorating his room.

Fururize

– Furuta is awakened by Rize love-biting him

– He will take her to an all-you-can-eat restaurant suitable for ghouls, and think himself the luckiest man alive every time she steals a glance.

– Rize: “Are you feeding me so I have the energy to dominate you tonight?”

– Furuta: *mews*

Nishikimi

– Nishiki: “Since you were okay with putting a bangle around my wrist, what if I put a ring around your finger?”

– Kimi: *eyes wide* “Nishiki-kun!”

– Nishiki: “I mean, I don’t have it yet. But I figured I’d ask. For future reference.”

– Kimi: “Now I’m half tempted to make you put it around my middle finger.”

Tsukikana

– Tsukiyama awakens Karren by sprinkling diamonds and gold dust on her.

– Karren has collaborated with Chie to get the best, most exotic food for Shuu..

– They dance the night away, until Karren suggests another form of dance. 😉

Higetori

– Higemaru’s a bit concerned Hakatori will find it dumb, but he would totally propose on Valentine’s Day.

– She says yes, then chastises him for giving her a present she can’t top.

– Her present, however, involves a concert and “Higemaru appreciation day,” in which she’s convinced all the Aogiri kids to make him cards.

Uihai

– Can you say PREPARED. Ui’s been planning their dinner at the best restaurant in town for months. He buys Hairu a gargantuan chocolate heart, which she promptly breaks in two for him.

– Hairu gives him tickets for a play Ui’s been dying to see, for the next weekend.

– Hairu suggests snuggles after they walk home.

Nakimiza

– Once Naki heard about this tradition of celebrating love, he ran around consulting ways to celebrate Miza.

– He throws confetti (supplied by Tsukiyama) on her, and she kisses him.

– “You know, you could have just wished me a happy Valentine’s Day and that would be enough,” says she. He then cries about how it wouldn’t be enough for Miza.

Arieto

– Let’s see, how can Eto troll the Reaper?

– bribes access to CCG for herself, then appears in Arima’s office yelling “boo!”

– Arima’s office door closes for the next few hours.

Utaren

– Uta is determined to embarrass Yomo.

– He buys him a ridiculously sized box of chocolates neither can eat, and a new coat

– To his surprise, Yomo has also bought him paint for masks. But Uta’s real treat is how flustered and flushed Yomo is.
