Now with this Yomo angst I’m sad. How about a scenario where his wifeu gives birth to a healthy bby girl?

Yomo’s face is twisted with agony. He barely breathes. His knuckles are white, clutching his wife’s hands.

She grinds her teeth to keep from screaming. “Rrrrrrrrren.”

“I’m here.” He thinks that’s what he should say. He’s not really sure. Has he ever been sure?

The only words he’s ever been sure of were “I do,” when he married this woman.

She tries to smile at him. “Ha…we  had no idea what we were getting into, did we?”

“No,” he admits, tightening his grip as another contraction seizes her small frame.

Yoshimura checks between her legs. He’s only done this once before, with Ukina, but one experience is better than nothing. “I think you are ready to push.”

“Oh thank god,” she breathes, trying to keep her humor, trying to calm Renji down.

“AH!” Another contraction seizes her, one she was not prepared for. “Shit!”

“Push,” Yoshimura commands.

She growls in response. Her face turns purple with effort.

“Push again.”

“Again.”

Finally, with a flash of pain that nearly kills her vision, she feels something slip from her body. She collapses back onto the bed, drenched in sweat.

A whimper catches Yomo’s attention.

“You have a girl.” Yoshimura chuckles and handles Renji a sterilized pair of scissors to cut the cord.

Yomo’s eyes fill with tears. He fights them back to cut his baby free.

And then his wife groans again.

“That should be the placenta.” Yoshimura hands the baby to a trembling Yomo and looks again.

He gulps. “Uh. Yomo?”

“Hmm?” Yomo kneels besides his wife so she can see the baby, covered in blood and mucus, perfect and whole and cackling with new life.

“I see another baby.”

“You’re got to be kidding,” gasps Yomo’s wife.

Yomo’s world spins. Two? Two babies?

The second baby comes easier than the first, and then Yomo finally lets out his breath. She is healthy. His twins – a boy and a girl – seem healthy.

The girl cries much louder, in “true Yomo family fashion,” as his wife reminds him.

He smiles and finally lets himself weep as he and Yoshimura change the bloodstained bedsheets.

Finally they’re done. She holds the boy and he cradles the girl, Kame and Toshi, sitting besides her. Every time he looks at his children or his wife, awe lights up his face.

“I can’t believe we have two.”

“Adventure never ends,” his wife says wearily. But there’s a smile on her tired face.

“Sleep,” he tells her. “I’ll hold them both.”

“You’re gonna be a good father,” she murmurs, handing him Toshi. He plants a kiss on her forehead and watches as this marvelous woman drifts to sleep.

MoRe BaBy HiKaRi! How bout’ this. Years later, Hikari is a teenager and come to Anteiku to find and meet Yomo because she’s curious about her mother. (Bonus: She meets Itori and Uta)

“Hi there,” says a girl about Hinami’s age. She has peach hair cut in a bob and a winsome smile that almost obscures how nervous she is. “Is there a Yomo Renji here?”

Touka pauses her sweeping. “Um, hold on a sec.”

The manager eyes her with a a small smile as they wait for Yomo to show up. He offers her a free cup of coffee, which she gladly accepts.

“Ooooh, this is so good!” The girl kicks her legs back and forth.

Yomo is taller than she expected, and probably kinda intimidating if Hikari were the type of person to be intimidated. He slips into the seat across from her. “You were asking for me?”

“Are you my father?”

Yomo drops his mug. He feels like everyone in Anteiku is watching him now.

“I’m Hikari. Morita Hikari. You gave me to my parents when I was a baby.” The girl watches him carefully.

Yomo curses himself. He should have guessed. With that hair and attitude, of course this is Itori’s daughter.

“No, I’m not,” he says carefully. Her face falls. “But I know your mother quite well.”

“He can call her,” hollers another cafe employee with a bulbous nose.

“Can you?” Hikari grabs his hands. “Please.”

Yomo nods reluctantly.

As they wait for  Itori and Uta – who were not told the circumstances yet – Yomo wonders what to say. Fortunately, Hikari is quite a chatterbox.

“Why did Mom give me up? Did she hate me? Who was my dad?”

“She was too young. No. I don’t know. You’ll have to ask her.”

“You’re not very fun.” Hikari pouts.

Yomo can’t resist a smile. “You’re Itori’s daughter, all right.”

She flushes as the door to Anteiku swings open.

“Well, well, well, who is this?” Uta takes off his sunglasses to inspect the girl.

“I love your tattoos.” Hikari looks excited.

“You’re Hikari,” Itori says softly.

Hikari’s eyes grow rounder. “Are you Itori?”

Itori holds out her peach hair.

Hikari’s lips tremble. “Do you like me?”

Itori nods, wordless for once in her existence.

Hikari glances at Uta.

“I’m not your dad,” he says quickly. “Itori and I are just friends.”

“I think you’re beautiful,” Itori says, a catch in her voice. “Hikari.”

Hikari throws herself at Itori, who hugs her so tight she can’t breathe, and she loves it. Both women are crying, and Yomo can spy tears running down behind Uta’s sunglasses.

“Let’s get more coffee.” Itori slides into a seat next to Hikari. “I think we’ll have a long night, if your parents allow it.”

“I snuck out. They think I’m asleep, but they’ll call if they notice.”

“I’m so proud of you,” says Itori, and Hikari beams back.

I have my birthday today (i am 20 now) and thought maybe you could come up with some birthday party headcanons with birthday!reader x Uta, and maybe the Clowns? :3 just if you want of course

Happy Birthday Nonny-Mouse!

image

– from the moment Uta found out your birthday, he has been planning this party. And your mask. You may be a human, but he knows you like his masks.

– Itori and Roma were hired to take you out in the morning. Roma insisted you needed a new birthday outfit. Itori insisted it be sexy.

– Nico showed up halfway through your shopping trip, after “sleeping late.” She actually was in charge of helping Uta sneak all the wine, blood wine, coffee, and cake from Helter Skelter to HySy.

– Souta begged Uta to let him sneak a finger in the wine to freak you out. Uta considered it, but refused. He then plied Souta with his entire eyeball stash so he would help him decorate.

– Donato does not help set-up, but he agrees to make an appearance.

– Yomo does not want to be in the same room as Donato, but for Uta and you, he too will appear. You make Uta happy, and that’s enough for him.

– When you arrive back at HySy, the Clowns + Yomo yell SURPRISE.

– Donato makes a point to tell you he thinks you’re a good match for Uta, despite your humanity. You take it as a compliment, which endears you to him.

– You are surprised how good the cake is. Souta then tries it, remembering the days he too could eat cake.

– Souta feels ill, but refuses to vomit it up. So Itori forces him to drink blood wine until he does. He is, however, now quite drunk.

– Nico, also drunk, tries to seduce Souta. You intervene, and Donato gives Nico a sermon.

– Souta then begins tickling you. He demands to know if you love Uta. You say yes with a red face. Uta can’t help but smile.

– Souta then asks if he can arrest you for harboring ghouls. “You’ll have to escape,” he says, “and wear a disguise.”

– He presents you with a mustache and PARTY glasses. “Your disguise.”

– Yomo begins gushing about how much Uta has blossomed in your presence and how he can’t imagine anyone better.

– Itori and Roma begin comparing boobs. That’s when Uta decides the party is over.

– When the guests have been escorted home, Uta gives you your mask. “Thank you for being the best part of my life,” he says, sealing your love with a passionate kiss.

I’ve decided to be cruel and ask for a scenario where Hinami dies during childbirth :)

image

“Her pulse is increasing.” Banjou hesitates.

“Hold on, please,” Ayato begs, racing forward to grab Hinami’s hands with one hand. Their child is in his other hand. “I can’t lose you.”

“Get him out of here,” Tsukiyama commands.

Touka moves forward to hold her brother’s shoulders. Her voice breaks. “Shuu, let him stay.”

Ayato would have rather his sister kicked him out. Terror kicks him. “No, please.”

He clutches their child. Ryouko. “Hina, I need you.”

“My kagune isn’t healing enough.” Banjou whispers.

Tsukiyama leaves abruptly. When he returns, he’s dragging a white-faced Kaneki, grim Yomo, sobbing Nishiki, and a trembling Miza.

Ayato lets out a sob at the sight of them.

“Your daughter is beautiful,” Yomo says thickly.

“Onee-chan.” Hinami’s eyes suddenly open. She smiles at Kaneki.

“Hey there, Hinami-chan.” Kaneki and Touka approach.

“Ayato?”

“He’s right here, little Hinami.” Tsukiyama shoves him forward.

“Don’t cry, Ayato,” she says, reaching for him. She feels like she’s hanging by a fraying thread.

His hands are so warm, so lifelike. “You’re going to be a great daddy.”

“You need to be a great Mommy, too,” Ayato whines.

“I will. I don’t think…Mom stopped when she went to heaven.” Hinami smiles deliriously.

“Yotsume!” The door bursts open, and Akira Mado barrels in. “Yotsume! Hey!”

She reaches over to embrace Hinami.

“Do you think,” HInami begins, “Your dad and my parents are laughing together?”

“Dad was pretty stubborn, but you never know,” Akira says, forcing a smile.

“I’m gonna tell Hikari hi from you Kirishimas,” Hinami mumbles.

Ayato lets out another sob.

“Can you hold me?”

He places Ryouko in Hina’s arms and crawls next to her. Her breathing slows, then restarts, and slows again.

Akira checks her pulse. “She’s gone.”

Ayato lets out a wail. Nishiki punches the wall, and Tsukiyama throws himself into a teary Yomo’s arms.

Touka and Kaneki clutch each other, and Banjou curls up on the floor. Miza sinks to her knees.

“I’m sorry,” Ayato begs, to Hina, to Ryouko, to his other family.

“You made her happy,” Touka tells him through her tears. “Nothing to be sorry for.”

Yomo’s fem s/o giving birth but the baby is stillborn. (there, I just needed something depressing)

image

Content warning: stillbirth.

“You’re almost there,” Yomo says, rubbing his lover’s shoulders.

“Don’t push,” Itori says, trying to keep her voice light. She doesn’t like how she can see the umbilical cord before the baby.

“Huh?” Yomo’s S/O squints.

Itori draws her kagune. “I think the cord prolapsed.”

“What does that mean?” Yomo demands.

“It means I need you to keep her calm,” Itori says as calmly as she can manage. “While I cut her open.”

His lover gasps, but Yomo knows now is not the time for emotion. He holds her hands tight. “Look into my eyes.”

Itori curses herself for not noticing anything sooner as she carefully slices across her friend’s abdomen. She grabs the baby and holds it up.

“It’s not crying.” Yomo’s lover is already healing, but screw it, she doesn’t care.

It’s head it blue. Tears blur Itori’s vision, but she feels the baby’s heart. Please beat.

Nothing.

Itori begins compressing its tiny chest with her fingers, and Yomo’s lover is shaking. But Yomo won’t look, not now, because his lover is starting to fall apart.

“Uta! Get in here.” Itori’s voice breaks, and that’s when Yomo knows. “Come on kid, please.”

Uta comes in, and for once he looks utterly serious.

“What was the gender?” Yomo manages.

“Boy,” says Uta, tears gathering in his eyes.

“So baby Kuzen, hmm.” Yomo turns back to his lover, who is sobbing loudly.

“I’m sorry, Ren.” Itori clutches the baby.

“Wait! Can – can I hold it?” His lover whimpers. “I just want to pretend for a minute.”

Itori nods and hands over their son.

Kuzen is perfect. He should be here. She should have been in a hospital, her life as valuable as a human’s, so none of this would happen. Yomo holds his love in his arms and lets himself sob with her.

Can you write a continuation of that pregnant Itori story? And maybe the ghoul or ghoul couple that adopted baby Hikari?

“Itori, how are you?” Yomo sits across from her at Helter Skelter, where she’s holed up the last month. She says she’s busy regaining her figure and working harder than ever. He suspects this is not the case.

She looks up, her eyes red. From alcohol or crying, he’s unsure. “I miss her.”

Her voice rises. “I just – what was I thinking? I know how to evade CCG. Do her new parents? If she dies, is it my fault? What if she hates me?”

“All those feelings are natural.”

“They hurt.” Itori knows someday she will laugh at her despair. But that day is not today.

“Uta and I have a surprise for you.”

“You do?” Itori brightens.

“Come along.” He drags her out of Helter Skelter, where a relieved Uta waits.

Yomo drives towards a well-to-do apartment complex with an enormous tree in the front. “We’re going to climb that tree.”

Itori snorts. “Why?”

“You’ll see.” Uta tugs her out of the car.

When they reach as high as gravity allows, Uta points inside one of the apartment complexes. The sunniest one.

“See?”

She gasps. That peach hair – the baby is being bounced up and down by a woman. A toddler boy, clad in sunshine yellow, clutches the woman’s leg and tries to pin a bow on Hikari’s hair. His hair is a similar shade to Hikari’s. She’ll blend right in.

She may not ever need to know she was adopted.

But she looks happy.

Itori presses a hand over her mouth to keep from crying. Uta doesn’t hold back, though, and even Yomo sniffles.

A tall man, who looks nothing like either kid, enters the apartment and greets his wife with a kiss. He immediately scoops up the toddler with one hand, and Hikari with the other. He kisses Hikari as the toddler boy kisses him.

Hikari giggles.

“She’s happy,” Itori whispers, her voice raw.

“You did good, girl,” Uta says back. “And we can come back anytime you like.”

“Thank you.” She throws her arms around both of them. “You are the best friends in the world.”

Say it was a fem s/o in that relationship hcs with Yomo. What happens when she accidentally gets pregnant? (bonus if it’s that Ukaku Hoshi from before xd)

Ooooh I’m glad you like Hoshi!

“Yomo, I’m fine,” Hoshi protests as he drags her into Anteiku.

“You can’t eat anything. I don’t think you’re fine.” Yomo scowls.

“Mr. Yoshimura, can you tell Yomo he’s being overprotective?” Hoshi whines, stomping her foot.

Yoshimura smiles. “What is the matter?”

“She doesn’t seem able to eat. I’ve never known a ghoul to vomit up human food and -” Yomo inhales sharply as Hoshi stumbles to a seat.

“Sorry, I was just lightheaded.”

Yoshimura furrows his brow. “Yomo, Hoshi: I realize this is a delicate subject but…do you think you may be pregnant?”

Hoshi pales, but Yomo’s face turns cherry red.

Hoshi, however, is already texting Itori. Yoshimura has said everything she suspected but was trying to – foolishly, she admits – ignore. “She’ll buy us a test.”

Yomo shakes. He can’t. Not Hoshi. A kid. “If – if you are – it’s too dangerous.”

Hoshi narrows her eyes. “I know I’m not exactly mother material, but I’m willing to learn if you are. My life is already dangerous. I think we deserve happiness, too.” Her voice falters. “Would that make you happy?”

“It’s make me scared.”

“But happy?” she presses.

Yomo meets her eyes and nods. Hoshi’s face melts.

“That,” says Yoshimura, “is all you can ask for.”

When Itori shows up, Uta naturally tags along. “I can’t believe that, of the three of us, you’re the one with an unplanned pregnancy.”

“We don’t know yet!” Hoshi shouts, grabbing the package and stomping to the restroom.

When she emerges, sweat glistens on her forehead. She nods.

Itori cheers and Uta yells “Congratulations!” Mr. Yoshimura smiles.

Yomo lifts up the tiny ghoul he loves and embraces her.

“I’m scared, too,” she whispers in his ear.

“We’ll make it work,” he replies, setting her down on the ground and giving her that tender smile she loves.

Yomo x Uta s/o pregnancy headcannons

Uta

– Totally makes his baby a mask before it’s born.

– Was probably told his lover was pregnant during an argument about his involvement with the clowns.

– Has 1001 baby names picked out.

– loves showing off his heavily pregnant lover to the rest of the Clowns.

– very good about massaging his lover’s feet and taking care of them in general.

– could spend entire evenings just listening to the baby’s heartbeat, or feeling it move.

– is probably fond of having awkward pregnancy sex.

– sobs when he finally holds his baby in his arms.

Yomo

– is very scared that something bad will happen to them the way it did to Hikari.

– if they aren’t married, will marry them right away.

– probably wishes he could take his lover’s place in labor.

– he will be super protective of them. He will also find a ghoul doctor, somewhere, anywhere in Tokyo for checkups.

– is embarrasses at Uta and Itori’s teasing about him being a baby daddy.

– his face subconsciously lights up every time he sees his pregnant lover.

– he has chills when he finally holds his baby in his arms.

Help me out here. I have this headcannon that Itori was pregnant when she was younger but gave up the baby. Could I have a scenario?

I wouldn’t be surprised if something like this happened, given how much she knows about human/ghoul pregnancies. Love it.

“You’re really pregnant?” Uta stares at her.

“Yes!” Itori yells, trying not to cry.

“You can cry,” he says.

“I’m not weak. I just – I won’t – it’ll be fine.” Itori backs away as the door to HySy slams shut. She whirls around. “Ren!”

“Itori?” He gapes at her.

Itori snarls at him. “This is why I never told you! You’re going to judge me, aren’t you?!”

“No,” Yomo says simply. Hikari … Itori will not wind up like Hikari. “We’ll help you.”

He hesitates, then hugs her.

Itori squeezes him back in one of her characteristic too-tight hugs.

“Is the father around?” Uta asks.

“Probably not.” Itori shrugs.

“Do you want it?” Yomo asks bluntly.

“I don’t know.” Itori looks serious. “But I don’t want an abortion, if that makes sense.”

“Of course it does.” Uta offers her an eye. “I wonder what body parts you’ll crave.”

“Shut up, you.” Itori whacks him playfully.

“No blood wine.” Uta winks.

“Don’t keep it around me.” Itori can’t help but smile at her friends.

Eight months later, Itori crawls into HySy, doubled over and moaning.

“Are you in labor? Here?” Uta exclaims.

“What does it look like?” Itori snaps. “I want an epidural.”

“That requires a hospital which requires you being arrested, so no.” Uta sighs. “I’ll call Ren.”

Yomo barrels in less than five minutes later.

“Did you hit anyone on your way over?” Uta asks. “Help me get her into the back.”

Yomo is armed with baby pamphlets. “I called Dr. Fueguchi. He’ll be here soon.”

Itori cringes. “Here comes another one!”

“How much longer?” she groans after Dr. Fueguchi arrives. She’s lying on the bed Uta prepared, biting down on a stick.

At least she thinks so. She really can’t remember anything but pain.

“First labor can take days.”

“What?” Itori shrieks. “Renji – no – cut it out.”

“Itori, you’ll be fine.” Uta strokes her hair.

“No – I won’t.” Itori begins to cry. She can’t even get proper pain medication because ghouls are so cursed. How can she raise a child?

She can’t.

It’s well past midnight when Dr. Fueguchi tells her to push. She hears a high-pitched scream and sees Yomo catch something in his arms.

“Is that her?” Itori is certain she had a girl.

“Yes.” Yomo smiles. There are tears down his cheeks, and even Uta has choked up.

“Can I hold her?” Itori whimpers.

Yomo wraps the baby in a towel and hands it to Itori. She smiles down at her girl, the girl she asked Yomo to bring to Yoshimura for adoption. But for a few hours, she will have this baby, and she’ll name her Hikari for Renji’s sister.

Hey babe, how bout’ a Yomo romantic headcannons n nsfw headcannons? A lotta them!

SFW

– Yomo is very old-school. If you are human, he will take you to candlelit dinners; if a ghoul, he’ll prepare a candlelit dinner for you.

– He will buy you flowers on Valentine’s Day, and chocolates if you’re human.

– He loves listening to you talk about your day. A night in is his idea of a perfect date.

– He is surprisingly cuddly once you know him to a certain point.

– Yomo is frequently embarrassed by the stories Itori and Uta tell about his youth. And, believe me, they make damn sure you know everything.

– You probably had to ask him out or show interest before he felt confident enough to ask.

– You accompany him on body collections, and frequently pray with him. He appreciates your appreciation for life.

– If he ever feels ashamed of being a ghoul, and he does, you are always there to reassure him that you love him no matter what, that you believe he’s a good person at heart, and that you’ll never leave him.

– Yomo does not want kids, due to fears of ending up like Hikari and Arata. So you help him throw himself into helping Touka and Ayato.

NSFW

– the first time you had sex, Yomo felt himself getting carried away. He pulled back in fear of hurting you, and you caressed his face as you guided him to the bed.

– Yomo is a very gentle lover. He goes slow, especially if his partner is much smaller than him, and let’s face it, that’s pretty likely.

– He loves exploring your body and cares a bit more for your pleasure than his. You do not let him get away with this, though.

– Yomo loves snuggling and deep conversations about how you feel after sex.

– Yomo was very embarrassed the first time Uta realized you smelled like Yomo. Because of course Uta made it into a big deal.

– Itori has taken you out lingerie shopping, because, regardless of your gender, she needs to know how red Yomo’s face gets.

– The answer is crimson. He loves it, though.
