“Tomoe.”
Hakatori scrambles out of bed. “You.”
You smile sadly. You’ve been searching for her since Rushima. And finally you found her, hiding out in this pathetic hovel, starving. You hold out your shaking hands. A kidney and a heart. “It’s all I could steal from the lab.”
Hakatori lets out a small cry. “Why?”
“I still love you,” you whisper. “I know you’re just trying to protect me – I know things are dangerous – but the danger is worthwhile if I’m by your side.”
“You’re so melodramatic.” She rolls her eyes as she approaches to take the meat. “Thank you.”
“Always.” You wait while she gulps down the food. You hand her a bottle of water to settle her stomach – you know that after weeks of starvation, she’s bound to feel sick.
She pulls you closer to her bloodstained lips. “I still love you.”
“I know that’s why you stayed away,” you say. “But that hurts me more, Tomoe.”
The use of her familiar name warms Hakatori’s body. She caresses your face before kissing you. Gently at first, but growing ferocious and strong.
You allow her to lift you off the floor and carry you to her bed. She rubs her hands between your legs, murmuring, “Is this okay?”
You nod, and reach up to pinch her breasts. The two of you slowly undress each other, sharing in your delight over each other’s bodies.
When she finally collapses next to you, mewling in pleasure, you snuggle closer. “Together forever?”
She kisses your forehead. “Absolutely. Thanks for calling out my shit.”
“Anytime, Tomoe, anytime.”
