Miza frowns. “You okay?”
Naki gags again, and then, to his relief, he vomits out mucus and a kagune shard.
Miza shrieks. “You were choking?”
“I couldn’t write it down,” Naki cries. “The skin healed over where their kagune stabbed me so I couldn’t breathe.”
Tears roll down Miza’s cheeks. “Don’t you ever almost die again.”
Naki starts to sniffle. “Why are you crying?”
“Because I love you! I love you, I love you, I love you, silly.” Miza grabs an arm and hands it to him. “Please heal yourself.”
Naki bites into it gingerly, but opts for sucking the blood over chewing. “Hurts to swallow.”
“I love you,” Miza says again.
“I love you, too.” Naki’s throat begins to feel softer, and now he’s ready to kiss her.
“THAT’S MY WIFE, MOTHERFUCKERS! THE WIFE OF NAKI OF THE WHITE SUITS!” Naki grabs Miza’s hand and holds it up high.
Miza had just entered the coffeeshop that Hinami and Touka had festooned with ribbons and a giant white cake for their human guests. Chie follows, taking photo after photo.
Miza smirks back at him. “And there’s my husband, the husband of Miza of the Three Blades.”
“Kiss me,” whines Naki.
“Gladly.” Miza sweeps Naki off his feet and plants her lips on his.
The edge of his bite marks are visible around his neck. Miza had attacked him savagely, and he loved it. He’d had to repeat her bites three times. The first two times, he’d been scared of hurting her. But now hers are healing with a wonderful ache.
Chie snaps another picture.
“So are you the White Blades now?” Tsukiyama teases. “Better than the Three Suits.”
“Tsukiyama, give us a moment to be the cutest couple around, okay?” Miza snorts.
He gasps. “But you are, my dears! I just wanted to make you even cuter!”
“Miza, I feel very close to the floor,” whispers Naki.
“You!” Miza shakes her head and lifts him back up.
“Don’t kill each other on your wedding day,” Kaneki suggests.
“Never.” Naki wraps Miza in a tight embrace. “She is studious and I love her!”
“Eh?” Miza frowns.
“Umm…Tsukiyama, what’s that word you taught me? The one I wanted to use for Miza?” Naki looks distressed.
Tsukiyama laughs. “Stupendous.”
“Yes! That! Miza, you are stupendous.” Naki grins, and she launches herself into his arms.
“You’re adorable, you knucklehead.”
– Naki love, love, loves telling everyone they’re dating. “Do you know Miza likes me? Do you know I like her? Do you know we’re together now?”
– Naki made Kaneki sit down with him and asked if Big Bro would approve of their dating relationship. Kaneki assured him he would, because Miza would kick Yamori’s ass.
– Miza loves waking Naki up every morning by shoving coffee under his nose.
– Naki loves giving her rides on his shoulders.
– He also adores watching her fix her hair every morning. It’s fascinating to him.
– The day after they decided to date, she wore a white suit to surprise him.
– Naki is fond of hugs so tight he can barely breathe. It is not uncommon to see them hugging for five full minutes on end.
– Miza is very determined to tell Naki how smart and special he is. She makes a fuss over every new word he learns, and kisses, cuddles, and massages to comfort him every time he’s insecure about his learning.
– If you insult Naki’s intelligence, prepare to face Three Blades of no mercy. Nishiki got a few slices in the chest one time.

Big bro… Naki teeters against the Oggai’s blades.
“Naki!” screams Miza. She lunges forward, but she won’t be there in time –

Kaneki’s rinkaku slams the Oggai onto their backs.
“King?!” Miza cries.
“KANEKI!” Naki shrieks. His vigor renewed, he leaps sideways and knocks several of the children unconscious.
“Don’t kill them – just stop them,” Kaneki orders. He smacks a few more into the tunnel wall.
“Got it.” Miza positions herself besides Naki. “By the way, if you die on me, I’ll get Yamori to torture you in heaven.”
“M – Miza!” Naki looks horrified. “I would never leave you!”

“I think they’re perfect.” Touka kisses Masato on his forehead.

“Naki, I want to kill someone,” Miza whispers through clenched teeth. She’d like to add you specifically, but Naki would be scared, and she loved him too much to confuse him.
“I can fetch you your blades,” Naki suggests. He’s been crying worse than her.
“No need.” Banjou nods. “You’re ready to push.”
“Why did you look at her?” Naki yells.
“Because I’m her nurse!”
“Naki, it’s fine.” Miza squeezes her eyes shut. Please, dear God, end this soon.
After half an hour, Miza finally hears a high-pitched cry that isn’t Naki’s.
“This is your boy.” Banjou weeps as he wraps the baby in a towel and offers it to Naki.
“My – our – b-b-b-boy?” Naki hyperventilates. “Miza, his has your hair!”
Miza smiles with tears in her eyes.
“Get ready to push again.”
“Wait, why?” Naki frowns.
“Because twins, silly.” Miza scrunches up her face and bears down again.
“Here she is!” The girl’s scream pierces Miza’s ears.
“Why are they wrinkly? Why do they look old? Did we do something wrong?” Naki hovers over Banjou as he hands the bundle to Miza. “Hey, the boy and girl look different.”
“One’s a boy. One’s a girl,” Miza says with a tired laugh. “And the wrinkles fade. They’ve just been pushed out of my body.”
“Which is tiny,” Naki admits innocently. “That makes them even more precious.” He looks into their eyes and knows he loves them with his heart and soul. He can’t imagine life before them, even just ten minutes ago.
Banjou clears his throat. “Prepare to push again.”
“A third?” Naki exclaims.
“No, just part of my internal organs,” Miza says cheerfully. “It’s called a placenta.”
– Naki is a helicopter parent. Every time their baby falls asleep, he becomes concerned they’ve died.
– Miza told him she thought Yamori would be proud of him, though she’s secretly glad Yamori isn’t around to play with the child. Naki cried with more joy.
– Naki likes dancing with Miza and the baby. Usually it’s to romantic music. One time it was to Yamori’s favorite song, which was of the “screamo” genre. Neither Miza nor the kid appreciated it.
– Naki is super into every aspect of parenting. He knows Miza is physically tired and recovering from labor, so he’ll be the first to rise when the baby cries. He doesn’t even mind changing diapers.
– When Miza saw that the baby had her Naki’s blond tufts, she cried.
– Miza made their baby a mini white suit. When Naki came home and saw his child dressed like him, he bawled again.
– The first time they had Kaneki and Touka and their baby over to meet the latest Kusakari, Naki tried to arrange a marriage between their kids.
