I notice how there’s nothing in the fandom for Matsumae, (I’m not sad rn I swear) so could we get some dating headcanons for her? Sfw and/or nsfw is appreciated. Thank you, love!

Look, all I’m saying is, I would thank Matsumae if she ran me through with her kagune.

SFW

– Matsumae expects a proper first date. Dinner. Coffee. A long walk. Perhaps a movie.

– She also enjoys kissing on the first date.

– Matsumae isn’t much of a snuggler, but she’ll brush her hands against yours, or give you a smile with those fierce eyes, and you’ll feel as warm as if she’d cuddled you.

– It will be very important to her that Shuu approve of you. But, fear not, if you make Matsumae happy, he’ll approve.

NSFW

– Your first time is probably on a random night neither of you expected. You’d been talking about sex, but she initiated and asked if you were ready, and you were.

– Matsumae demands pillow talk afterwards.

– She’s probably up for multiple rounds a night, and as skilled at sex as she is at fighting. Fierce, too.

Oh man im sorry I meant younger Tsukiyama with a human so. I was saying fetus as in talking about the Tsukiyama we see in the Ova Pinto. I’m sorry I guess I should’ve been clearer with my ask!!

Oooh I’m sorry for misunderstanding!

“You almost threw Hori off a roof?” Tsukiyama’s SO gapes at him.

“It was a mere jest.”

“Did she think so?” They jab their finger at him. Tsukiyama, at least, has the dignity to appear chastened. “Shuu. You’re going to get caught.”

“I already have been,” he purrs, delivering them his slyest smile.

“You imp!” They roll their eyes, but press their lips against his cheek.

Tsukiyama glances behind him to see Matsumae appear. “We should go get coffee or something, my fair elf.”

They shake their head in amusement as Tsukiyama heads off with them. Matsumae’s already not thrilled about Chie. She’ll be even less pleased that he’s out with a human date

Tsukiyama doesn’t come home until late. He spends his time below the stars, kissing them with burning passion he’s never felt before, leaping through the bushes to pluck a rose for them. They exclaimed in dismay when he pricked himself on a thorn, but his regeneration healed him immediately. And he felt pleased to be a ghoul.

He calls them ma chere and can’t stop smiling even now, that he’s already walked them home.

“Ahem.”

As soon s the door to the Tsukiyama mansion swings shut behind him, Tsukiyama sees Matsumae standing behind it with her arms crossed.

“Hello there, Madam,” he purrs.

“What are you doing, Shuu?”

“You mean [Name]?” He flutters his lashes.

“I know you’re excited to be in the ghoul restaurant, but if you take them there, you’ll be the number one suspect.” Matsumae glares at him.

Tsukiyama pales.

“I’m not taking them to the restaurant.”

“Either way.”

“No, you don’t understand.” He swallows. His mouth is uncharacteristically dry. “I … I don’t want to eat them.”

Matsumae’s eyes widen.

“I love them,” Tsukiyama protests. “I would never hurt them.”

“I see,” she says quietly. “Be careful nonetheless.”

She leaves him, then, but the next day he finds a business card for Tokyo’s best flower shop on his desk.

And, after a few months, a box of condoms. o.O

(Edited to add Hajime)

Can you describe the first time Chie was introduced to Mirumo and the Tsukiyama household staff and their reactions? I love them so much and I love your writing/hcs so I would really love it!!!

You are so sweet! I love this idea. ❤

“Don’t worry, we won’t serve you for dinner, little mouse,” Tsukiyama says, guiding Chie towards his mansion.

“I put a blog post up in case,” she retorts.

Tsukiyama laughs with delight. “I’d expect nothing less!”

He enters the home and waves. “Hello!”

“Welcome,” says Matsumae.

“Matsumae.” Chile’s eyes widen. “You’re a ghoul, too?”

“She’s head of our household staff,” Tsukiyama narrates.

“Whoa.” Chie snaps a picture. “Don’t worry. I just like looking at these.”

“I know,” Matsumae says with a  small smile. “Otherwise our Shuu would be dead by now.”

“I would not!” gasps Tsukiyama, but Chie snickers.

“He definitely would.”

“Indeed.” Mario bows before Chie. “I’m the butler, at your service, madam.”

“Wow.” Chie snaps another picture. “So nice.”

“We are all well-mannered here,” says Tsukiyama.

“Except my son, at times.” An older, mustachioed ghoul appears at the top of an red-carpeted staircase, complete with golden bannisters. “Mirumo Tsukiyama. Pleasure to meet a human friend who doesn’t fear ghouls.”

“She’s my pet,” Shuu says.

“Sure.” Mirumo winks at Chie, who quite likes this man.

“Oh, Master Shuu!” A blonde ghoul hurries up, accompanied by a handsome dark-haired ghoul. “I forgot about your friend, but we’ve just put the cookies in the oven. And we shall prepare some pate for you.”

“What’s your name? Are you two married?” Chie holds up her camera.

“G-goodness, no,” says the woman. “I’m Aliza, and this is Yuuma.”

She notes she’ll probably need to ask Chie for that picture later, to keep it under her pillow.

“And this is Kanae Von Rosewald!” Shuu points excitedly to a pretty lad about his own age, with lilac hair and a pink suit.

“You have pretty hair.” Chie smiles.

“T-thank you.” Kanae almost doesn’t feel jealous of Chie. Almost.

“Well, Chie, shall we sit in the parlor? I’m so interested to know you more,” says Mirumo.

How about Tsukiyama going to the hair dresser and his nightmare came true *his bang got cut so short, he looks like a kid*

A crash alerts Mirumo to his son’s presence. “Shuu?”

A blur with Tsukiyama’s cologne streaks by.

“Shuu!”

“Don’t look at me; I’m hideous!” wails the blur. He slamming the door to Shuu’s room.

Matsumae and Kanae exchange glances.

“I’ll check,” Kanae announces.

She knocks on Master Shuu’s door, her ire building. Has someone hurt him? She’ll kill them and feed them to her master for their hubris.

Shuu looks up with a guilty expression.

He has no bangs.

Kanae tumbles backwards. “Hilfe!”

“What’s wrong?” Matsumae barges in, only to freeze at Shuu’s new look. “Oh. Oh my.”

“Don’t say it!” cries Shuu. “I’m a laughingstock!”

“I’m not laughing,” Kanae protests.

“I am.” Chie Hori shoves her way inside, snapping pictures.

“Can you not?” Kanae snaps.

“I am humiliated!” wails Shuu. “I am a disgrace! How will I ever grace the outside world again?”

“We’ll tell you Kaneki’s outside and you’ll go,” Kanae says dully.

He brightens. “Is he?”

Kanae scowls. “No.”

He looks like a disappointed child, and it’s all she can do not to hug him.

Hairu accidentally built a shelf

I was previously unaware of this phenomenon. Many thanks for enlightening me.

Matsumae dodges another blast from the investigator’s quinque. Wow, she is good.

And not even Shuu’s age.

“Look out.” Ihei Hairu aims again for her kagune shield, but just then, she slips on a patch of spilled blood.

Before Matsumae can slice her through the abdomen, Hairu has tumbled into her kagune shield. It wavers for a moment, then reforms as a shelf.

“Hah?” Matsumae stops their fight to stare.

“First Class! Do you need help?!” Two subordinates approach.

“Help? I accidentally built a shelf,” Hairu calls back. She grins at the ghoul. “Of all the imposing shapes, that is not one of them.”

“I didn’t do it on purpose,” snaps Matsumae.

“I don’t want a shelf quinque. Or one with a mind of its own.” Hairu frowns. “I’m not sure I can break through.”

“I’m not sure I can change it back,” Matsumae replies. Her kagune is stubborn today. “Call it a draw, then, young one?”

“I’ll kill you later,” Hairu calls as Matsumae detaches herself from the kagune and flees.

Ui seeing hairu die infront of him

Why would you do this to me.

Ui is busy fighting three of Tsukiyama’s bodyguards all at once, but he still spies on Hairu across the yard. She’s battling that lady bodyguard, Tsukiyama’s knight, the one with the nasty koukaku.

And just when Ui has knocked down the last bodyguard, he’s pleased to see that Hairu is holding her own.

And then – she slips.

The Knight impales her abdomen.

Ui screams, but Hairu draws T-human and fires lighting at the Knight. She stumbles back.

He’s running but not fast enough. Another bodyguard jumps in and – just like that – Hairu’s head falls.

Ui’s scream can never be shrill enough, angry enough, painful enough. He screams until he wishes he were dead, and the ghouls wish they were dead.

Before leaving the scene, Matsumae watches the black-haired investigator strike Mairo’s head over and over. So he, too, is motivated by emotion.

The investigator wails again, checking for a pulse on a decapitated body.

Matsumae feels a twinge of – well – for just a moment – she wishes she hadn’t killed the investigator.

Karren escapes from Eto and makes her way back to the Tsukiyamas (which has not been raided by the CCG yet)

Oh goody, more angst for my wicked heart.

Karren stumbles out of Aogiri’s headquarters, her eyes still half-sewn shut, hr lips 100% sealed. Help me, she wants to whimper. I want to die.

She can’t go home to Master Shuu. He’s depressed enough.

But where else can she go? She only has one home, and it’s with Tsukiyama Shuu.

She half-walks, half-crawls to the mansion like a drunk, like the worthless servant she is, hoping to climb inside her room without anyone noticing she’s been gone.

She needs to kill Sasaki for hurting Shuu. No – to atone for her own selfishness. Because she’s very, very bad, and she needs to be Kanae, not Karren.

Kanae doesn’t even realize that she’s collapsed on the steps to the Tsukiyama mansion until she hears Matsumae scream.

Get up, move

Chie Hori sees her and runs upstairs like the brat she is.

Don’t worry, let me alone, Kanae wants to say as Matsumae lifts her off the stairs, but her mouth is still sewn shut.

Mirumo hovers over her, and then Matsumae shoos him out because she knows Kanae’s secret. This is all going so wrong – why can’t she die already – and then Shuu’s being pulled into the room – how did she wind up in her room? – by Chie.

He lets out a wail and rushes forward, yanking out the thread to her mouth and cursing in French.

“Be gentle!” Matsumae says, working on Kanae’s eyes.

“I’m sorry; I’m so sorry,” Kanae says, bordering on delirium. “She knew – Master Shuu, it’s all my fault.”

“Your fault? No, mon cher, never.” Shuu’s shaking. How could someone do this to Kanae? He wouldn’t even treat dinner like this.

He’s going to find them, and kill them.

He tries to take off her jacket to check for wounds, and Kanae starts and immediately claps her hands over her … rosy chest.

Shuu turns dead white.

“K – Kanae?” he asks in a small voice, a voice that says why didn’t you trust me?

“Not Kanae.” Matsumae applies a warm cloth dipped in some sort of lotion to Kanae’s bruised forehead.

“What’s your real name, belle femme?” he asks.

She squeezes her eyes shut, though they still hurt from the thread. There’s no point in hiding what’s already been exposed. “Karren.”

Tears leak down her cheeks, but Shuu’s placing a blanket overher chest as he helps her out of her jacket, and he’s calling her sweet rose and liebling and he seems more alive than he has in months. And though Karren can’t quite believe it yet, Chie and Matsumae can see it’s because of her.
