A Son Gohan/Kaneki Ken scenario where Gohan teaches Ken that, no matter what, hope always exists and that it will always be there (“as surely as the sun will rise again”), just like he will be for him.

“So you’re essentially a half-breed, too.” Gohan smiles.

“Y-yes.” Kaneki starts. “Is that a tail?!”

“It is!” Gohan grins and allows Kaneki to touch it. “I’m half Saiyan. I was expected to be a fighter like them, but I’m not so good at that. I’d rather study.”

“Me too.” Kaneki shakes his head. “I’m a terrible person.”

“Why? For being half-species? That’s part of who you are.” Gohan shrugs. “It’s fine. Don’t give up because you’re different, Kaneki.”

“But – how do I move on when one can understand me?” Kaneki asks.

“I can understand you. And Touka can understand your ghoul side. Hide can understand your human side. The Quinx can understand the ‘both worlds’ part. You’re not alone, despite how you feel.” Gohan smiles. “And, by the way, it’s okay to dislike fighting, so long as you don’t use that dislike in a cowardly fashion.”

Kaneki nods, still patting the tail. He likes the fur. Why couldn’t he have been turned half-Saiyan?

“As surely as the sun will rise again,” says Gohan, “know that hope – for anything – always exists and will always be there.”

Kaneki isn’t sure he knows that, but maybe, if he can keep talking to this weird person with a tail, he will learn.

Kaneki and Touka engage in a heartfelt conversation and Touka decides to give one of his incomprehensible books (a Takatsuki Sen book) a try despite her dislike of classic lit and Kaneki helps her with reading the parts she has trouble with

This is so freaking cute, I’m answering it way early.

Touka gulps at the book in her hands. Monochrome of Rainbows.

She figures she could start with short stories and work her way up to Dear Kafka or The Black Goat’s Egg

But why go easy on herself? That’s not the way of Kirishima Touka. Or is her name Kaneki Touka now?

Whatever. Last night Kaneki was blathering on about teaching their little sprout Takatsuki Sen’s stories, and she realized she might miss out if she doesn’t read it.

So here she is.

Touka grabs King Bileygr, the most recent novel. This one supposedly fictionalizes CCG’s history. Reading it is helpful to GOAT’s cause, right?

But after one chapter, her head is throbbing. What is the meaning of Takatsuki’s poetic language? There has to be some meaning. But she can’t get it.

Why couldn’t Kaneki love biology or something?

“What are you doing?” Kaneki frowns as he re-enters their room.

“Reading. What’s it look like?” she retorts.

“How do you like it?” he asks eagerly.

“Uh – why does she phrase her sentences like this?” Touka narrates an example. “It seems unnecessary.”

“Ah! I’m not entirely sure, but I think she puts the clauses where she does to create a sentence where there’s an inner part and an outer part, almost reflecting the prison she’s writing about on a sentence-level.” Kaneki hurries over. “What part are you at?”

“The second chapter,” Touka admits.

“That’s actually a very important chapter. The little details come back to matter much more later. Want help with the words?” Kaneki hovers over her shoulder.

“Yes.” Touka smiles up at him. For a second, she feels like everything is normal, like they’re back in Anteiku.

He just better not name their kid Bileygr.

What are some characters’ sleeping positions?

Let me know if you want any others! These were the first I thought of. 🙂

Mutsuki decides to share Kaneki with Touka and Tsukiyama, because he realized being violent and jealous won’t win him his sensei’s love

Hahahahahahahha, oh my.

“Sensei.” Mutsuki tugs on Kaneki’s arm. “Shuu and I have an idea.”

“It’s a great idea, if I do say so myself,” Tsukiyama adds.

Touka scowls. “Oh really?”

“We’ll share you,” Mutsuki says eagerly.

Kaneki drops his coffee. “Pardon?”

“I don’t think being jealous helps. Tsukiyama told me his story, too.” Mutsuki hesitates, still kinda hoping the fact that he didn’t want to devour Kaneki puts him slightly ahead of Tsukiyama.

“Does that mean you help us with child-raising?” Touka asks.

“Absolutely.” Tsukiyama nods.

“Sounds good to me.”

“Just please let us be part of your life,” Mutsuki says.

Kaneki’s face melts. “Mutsuki, you’ll always be part of my life. You too, Tsukiyama.”

Tsukiyama exclaims in French and grabs Kaneki in an embrace. “We’ll be like our own little family!”

Ayato is a giggly drunk who can’t walk. Go!

“You know – you’re not actually so bad, Kaneki.” Ayato giggles and falls at Kaneki’s feet.

Touka appears behind Kaneki, her face white.

“Touka! The One-Eyed King has four eyes now.” Ayato waves.

“I didn’t realize he’d drink this much,” Miza says. Naki nods, mystified.

Hinami, the only sober one of the drinkers, taps Ayato on the head. “Here, try to stand. I’ll help.”

“Hina, you’re the fucking best. The fucking. Best.” Ayato wraps his arms around her.

“I’m glad.” Hinami forces a grin.

“Touka, aren’t you going to give me a kiss good night? You know I leave tomorrow for the underground right?” Ayato dissolves into more giggles.

“And not a minute too soon,” she says dryly, pecking him on his head.

“Hina, kiss?” Ayato smiles.

“Not a chance! To bed with you!” yells Touka.

Allen Walker (D Gray Man)/Kaneki Ken pairing? Both remind me of the other with their self esteem issues and deformed arms . I think they could help each other feel happier

I hadn’t heard of D Gray Man before and now I really wanna read this!

“What happened to your arm, Kaneki-san?” asked Allen Walker, that strange man who wandered into GOAT yesterday.

“It doesn’t heal, that’s all.” Kaneki forced a smile. “Don’t worry about it.”

“Are you sure? Someone should worry.” Allen frowns.

He seems kind. Too kind. Kaneki feels miserable. “You’re going to die if you keep acting this way.”

“So are you.” Allen watches Kaneki seriously. “And you want that, don’t you?”

Kaneki says nothing.

“Your mom – wasn’t your fault. Neither was Anteiku.” Allen hesitates. “Touka told me.”

“I just wanted to save everyone.” Kaneki swallows.

“We can, can’t we? I’m an Exorcist. I’m supposed to destroy, but I want to be a destroyer who saves, if that’s at all possible,” Allen insists. “Don’t you think ghouls can do the same?”

“I don’t know.” Kaneki sighs. “I feel like a monster.”

“Then be a beautiful monster.” Allen smiles.

Their hands entwine, and somewhere, Kaneki feels hope at last.

Tg re chapter 125 but with HideKane as the sex scene couple

“Kaneki.” Hide side-eyes his best friend, and after a moment, tackles him with a kiss.

Kaneki gasps, but oh, he kisses back. Hide feels this way? Hide cares?

They stay locked at the lips for what feels like seconds, but is probably at least half an hour. Then Hide straightens and, tentatively, moves to take off his shirt.

Kaneki gasps with longing. He helps Hide lift his t-shirt and buries his face in Hide’s warm, muscular chest.

Hide reaches for Kaneki’s shirt and pulls it over his head. “Wow. You used to be so skinny.”

Kaneki blushes.

“You had to become strong. I admit you.” Hide smiles and pulls Kaneki closer for another kiss.

They lie across the floor, each one tugging down the others’ pants, until they’re both naked.

“You don’t have to be gentle,” Hide says. He gasps as their bodies unite.

“Why are you crying, Ken?” Hide winks when they’re spent and lying breathless in each other’s arms. “Just kidding, of course I know why you’re crying. You’re happy.”

“It’s been a while since I’ve cried happy tears.” Kaneki lays his head in Hide’s lap.

“I know. Rest.” Hide kisses Kaneki’s forehead.

Furuta x Kaneki/Sasaki with Furuta teasing, dominating and calling him “my dear Kaneki”

NSFW.

“My dear Kaneki,” Furuta murmurs, fixing his teeth on Kaneki’s lower lip. “You taste delicious.”

“When did you become Tsukiyama?” Kaneki still looks innocent every time they’re together.

“Since I tasted you.” Furuta winks and pushes Kaneki back onto the bed.

Kaneki rolls his eyes. “You’re so dramatic.”

“I have to be. I’m a Washuu.” Furuta slips his hands under Kaneki’s rear. “And you’re my little dragon.”

Kaneki snorts as Furuta begins his ministrations. “Maybe I’ll eat you, then.”

“I mean, that would be part of my goal.”

“Oh my god. Why are you like this.” Kaneki’s voice is flat, but his eyes smirk back.

“I have a better idea,” Kaneki adds after a moment. “I’m not going to be your little dragon. I’ll be your centipede.”

“Are you going to sting me?” Furuta gasps.

“Precisely.” Kaneki rolls atop Furuta and grins down at him.

“Well, this is different.” And Furuta likes different.

Kaneki have children but he never been apart of they life for while and his daughter meet him for the first time ?

“Dad?”

The child can’t be older than four. She has black hair and those unmistakably round black eyes.

Kaneki stares at her. She…she looks like him.

“Hi.” The girl holds out her hand.

Kaneki wants to flee. He’s a ghoul, and she’s a human. She will hate him. What if he endangers her?

This is why I left.

But she looks sadder and sadder, and he remembers tugging at Mom, desperately trying to get her attention, and crying when she chose work instead.

“Hi,” he whispers, taking her hand.

The girl gingerly touches his white hair. “Will mine turn that color?”

“When you’re very old.”

“Good.” She looks at his eyepatch, at his scaled arms. “I want those too. I think they’re pretty. You’re like a mermaid.”

Kaneki gulps. His daughter doesn’t see him as a monster. She sees someone she loves.

His fear of proving her wrong may prove her wrong itself. Kaneki forces himself to fight, to embrace her. “I love you, kid.”

“Daddy.” She kisses his eyepatch.

saiko finding out touka is pregnant so she calls her papa and touka doesnt have a choice

“Papa, you love us, right?” Saiko smiles at the woman whose lap is currently Kaneki’s pillow, and whose feet are currently Mutsuki’s dream toy. Or so it seems, because he keeps batting at them like a cat while sleeping.

Touka sputters. “Papa?!”

“You’re gonna have a baby with Maman. That makes you Papa,” Saiko says seriously.

“Just go with it,” Urie advises.

“Do you have a name for this kid? I know plenty of historical names,” Higemaru says eagerly.

“Kaneki wants a literary name,” Touka admitted.

“What do you want?” Hsaio asks, leaning closer.

“A name they’ll like.” Touka shrugs, with a small smile. “That’s it.” Her eyes travel to the corner. “Aura, are you still sulking? Get over here.”

He tiptoes closer. “You – you really don’t hate me?”

“Nah, we’re family. My brother once tore out my kagune.” Touka smiles.

“Thanks, Papa,” he mutters.

Touka scowls.

Aura winks.

“You’re doing that on purpose,” she hisses.

“Yup.” He laughs and settles besides Higemaru.

“Papa is gonna be a good papa,” sings Saiko.

With Ken on her lap and Mutsuki by her feet, with the rest of their wacky family surrounding them, Touka feels that maybe she will be.
