Haise makes thanksgiving dinner for the Quinx

“I think I burned the corn.” Saiko stares at the black-tinged pellets in the bowl.

“It’s okay,” Sasaki assures her.

“All right! I’m so excited!” Shirazu zooms into the dining room.

“Me too.” Mutsuki giggles nervously as he folds each napkin. They’re using fine silverware for this American holiday.

“Humbug.” Urie rolls his eyes.

“Not the right holiday,” Shirazu sings.

“Shut it.” But ever Urie has to admit, the turkey and that cranberry jelly look scrumptious.

“To start, I think we are supposed to say what we’re thankful for,” says Sasaki, taking his place at the head of the table.

“I’m thankful for food!” Shirazu announces, drooling at the biscuits laid before him.

“I’m thankful for Sasaki preparing all of this,” Mutsuki says softly.

“I’m thankful we can eat human food,” Saiko says.

And now it’s Urie’s turn.

“I’m thankful to work at CCG and have a chance to make a difference in the world.”

Saiko rolls her eyes, Shirazu grins, and Mutsuki nudges Urie with his foot. He smiles.

Sasaki clears his throat. “I’m thankful for all of you.”

Kaneki and Hide reunite and Hide confesses his feelings for him (like he did in Chpt 148). But since Kaneki is married with a child on the way, he also says he is ready to let Kaneki go and be happy even if he can’t have him. In comes our queen, Touka, who introduces them to the idea of polyamory ;)

“Why would you go this far? I took your mouth,” Kaneki whispers. He’ll never hear Hide’s laugh again.

Hide rolls his eyes “Kaneki, half an hour ago you thought you’d never hear me again because you’d killed me. Isn’t this infinitely better?”

“I…suppose.”

“Anyhow, I love you. Kaneki, I’ve loved you for years.” Hide looks at the ground. “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you before. It took me…well, until you vanished to realize.”

“Hide.” Kaneki blinks back tears. “I love you, too.”

He takes Hide’s cheeks in his. “But I can’t be with you. I’m with Touka. We’re having a baby.”

“Do you love her?” Hide asks, desperately.

“Yes.”

“Good.” Hide breathes a sigh of relief. He can handle heartbreak if Kaneki is happy.

“Hold up, you two.” Touka stomps over. “Go ahead and kiss him, Ken.”

“Huh?” Kaneki sputters.

“Polyamory is a thing, you know.” Touka flutters her lashes at both men.

Hide feels impressively attracted to her. “Uh.”

Kaneki tackles his missing mouth in a kiss, and Touka kisses both of their cheeks.

“Welcome to the family. I’ll leave a bite mark not on your face for marriage,” Touka whispers in Hide’s ear.

He laughs, and even Kaneki has to chuckle.

He feels so happy, surrounded by and married to his best friends.

Everyone’s reaction at Suzuya saying fuck ???

Kaneki/Sasaki: You – You shouldn’t – s-s-s-ay that…Hahaha…Uh…Help.

Mutsuki: *scared*

Urie: *stunned silence*

Shirazu: *chokes*

Saiko: Hey fucker, wanna fucking go? I fucking love it.

Hanbee: *turns bright red, gets very antsy*

Keijin: *impressed* *makes a mental note that swearing may be okay in front of his squad leader*

Mizurou: OMFG

Mikage: the constellations have aligned. The planets have united as one. The world is ending and it is beautiful.

Shinohara: Suzuya, sometimes that word upsets people. I’ve found it helpful to try saying what is making you so angry, rather than saying that word.

Everyone’s reaction to Fueguchi Hinami saying the word: “Fuck.”

I’m dying of laughter.

Kaneki: *gasps* Hinami?! *world tilts*

Touka: The fuck did you just say?

Tsukiyama: *faints*

Yomo: *pretends he heard nothing. Later cries in his room alone*

Nishiki: Don’t you dare start using Touka’s language!

Koma: This is entertaining. The Devil Ape used to wash out Touka’s mouth with soap. (Touka: You fucking did not).

Irimi: grins

Naki: Why is everyone upset? I like that word.

Miza: Ayato has not been a good influence.

Ayato: *cheers* Allow me to enlighten you on the eloquence of creative cursing.

Both Kaneki and Touka try to tell off Ayato and Hinami for having sex angrily but then Hinami’s retort is “at least we //used// a condom!” write it however, I just need this :)

Ayato stumbles out of his room, still in his pajamas, late for another GOAT meeting.

“Oops!” Hinami clamors out after him, wearing a nightgown.

Tsukiyama shrieks. “Tres bien, little HInami!”

“What’s all this?” Kaneki enters the hallway and promptly faints.

When he awakens, Ayato and HInami stand awkwardly to one side, while Touka cradles his head and shoots dagger eyes at Ayato.

“I can’t fucking believe you,” Touka hisses.

“Romance is good!” Tsukiyama cheers.

“Shut up, you.” Touka turns back to Ayato. “Hina’s a child!”

“Whoa, whoa, whoa, I am not, Onee-chan.” Hinami stomps her foot. “Stop thinking of me that way. I like Ayato and I’m proud to have made love to him.”

Kaneki gurgles. Tsukiyama squeals. And Touka tries not to vomit.

“You know,” Ayato says slyly, taking Hinami’s hand. “At least we used a condom.”

Kaneki pales. Okay, okay, they’ve been bested. Touka narrows her eyes.

“I gave them a proper talk,” Tsukiyama adds unhelpfully. “So I wouldn’t expect any nieces or nephews soon.”

Ayato leans over to kiss Hinami.

“Kaneki, we failed to lead by example,” Touka whispers.

“Touka, I’m scared,” he whispers back.

A scenario where Arata comes back and Yomo tells Touka and Ayato he’s their uncle

ANGST OF GLORY

Touka drops her plate. Yomo enters her new cafe, Dragon, with someone leaning on his shoulder.

Everyone’s been out raiding the CCG tanks, while she sits here on bloated ankled with a bloated stomach. Eto and Yoshimura she’s heard were discovered, and she can’t wait to see Yoshimura and punch Eto.

But the man leaning against Yomo, the thin man with her blue hair and Ayato’s eyes.

Yomo sees the confusion on her face.

“What’s all this? Dropping a plate?: Ayato saunters in, Hinami by his side.

“Oh hell no!” He screams, and flees upstairs.

“Hina.” Touka manages.

“On it.” Hinami thunders after Ayato. “Don’t make Yotsume angry!”

“Dad?” Touka whispers.

Arata’s eyes focus on his daughter. His very pregnant daughter.

Kaneki enters the room, dragging Ayato by his feet while Hinami takes his hands.

“That’s your son-in-law.” Yomo points to Kaneki, who pales.

He’s been outed way too soon. Damn you, Yomo.

Touka approaches hesitantly.

“I – I’m sorry,” Arata says. All these years he’s been gone. And now –

Touka is afraid to hug him. Bu she remembers Akira, and what Akira wouldn’t give for this chance.

So she does. Arata gasps with happiness he knows he doesn’t deserve.

“This is Ayato and your future-daughter-in-law,” Yomo narrates.

Ayato and Hinami turn red. But then Hinami shoves him forward, and he starts sobbing into Arata’s shoulders.

“Thank you, Yomo. For taking care of them,” Arata says.

“I didn’t much. That was Yoshimura,” Yomo admits.

“You knew each other?” Hinami’s eyes are wide.

“He’s Hikari’s brother,” Arata says gently.

“Wait what.” Touka steps back to stare at Yomo.

Ayato kicks him in the shins.

“I was too afraid of failure to tell you,” Yomo admits.

“And here I thought I was the one afraid of failure,” Kaneki says.

“Hey, you’re lucky I didn’t beat the shit out of you, kid,” Yomo snaps.

Arata is amazed. Someone, these people made a family without even considering bloodlines.

He loves them all. He hopes they forgive him.

He touches Touka’s belly. “Boy or girl?”

“Twins,” she replies with a straight face.

Arata collapses as Touka shrieks. “I was kidding! Kidding!”

((Thank you so much for all that you do. When is your birthday, btw?)) In the same DBZ crossover universe, Hajime Hazuki is trying to find his place in the world after being defeated and detained when Kaneki and Gohan introduce him to Chie, Goten and Trunks, gaining two friends he would grow close to and an intense budding love for a certain half saiyan girl.

“How’s it going, Hajime?” Kaneki peers through the cracked door. He’s hesitant to enter.

The immediate response is “GO AWAY!”

And then, “Why do you keep visiting me in this cell?”

“Cell?” Gohan is confused. This kid is troubled, he knows, but he’s in a nice home, with nice surrogate parents – Amon and Mado seem perfect to him.

“I’m not allowed to go outside on my own,” the kid says mockingly. He yanks open his door and reveals his kakugan. “Heya, mutt.”

“Hajime, can you not?” Kaneki pleads.

Chie peers closer. “Ooh, I love that kakugan. Can I see your kagune?”

Hajime flushes. He didn’t realize a girl was here. “Sure!”

He thrusts out his crimson tentacles. “Like Kaneki’s, but better.”

Gotten coughs. Trunks shakes his head, but he rather admires this brat.

“We are going to take you out for ice cream,” Kaneki says awkwardly. “If you wanted.”

“Please say yes.” Chie clasps her hands, and Hajime looks terrified.

So that’s his secret weakness. Girls. Gohan grins.

“Fine.” Hajime sniffs and makes sure to sidle up to Chie. “Did you know I was the leader of a Squad once?”

“You were a child soldier?” Goten is horrified.

“I liked it!” Hajime stomps his foot.

“Well, I like you not in danger,” Kaneki replies.

Hajime scowls.

“I like you alive, too,” Chie says.

Hajime immediately brightens. He makes a mental note to order the same flavor of ice cream as she so they’ll have more to talk about.

Hide and pre Yamori torture Kaneki (so the most innocent pure Kaneki) nsfw with Hide exuberantly topping and being all complimentary and sweet towards his best friend and being excited as hell at getting to finally experience this with his most important person and Kaneki is too and Kaneki is all smiles and affectionately calls Hide “idiot” after Hide praises him

“Are you sure about this?” Kaneki lifts his eyes to Hide’s. His beloved friend lies stretched atop him. Their skin is bare and sweaty. Their nerves tingle. Kaneki can feel Hide’s humid breath on his lips and he’s embarrassed to admit it, but he wants Hide even more now.

Hide nods. “Kaneki, of course.” He laughs. “You might actually have more muscle than I do.”

Kaneki snickers. “We’re both pretty spindly.”

“And we’re both beautiful.” Hide smiles down at Kaneki. “And we’re both in love.”

He tightens his grip. “Ready?”

Kaneki nods, scared and excited and overwhelmed. He can’t believe he gets to do this with Hide. This is better than he ever dreamed. Certainly better than the horror novels he adores.

Their bodies rock back and forth.

“You feel so good,” Hide moans. “How did you get so talented at this?”

“Idiot,” Kaneki laughs. “Though I could ask the same of you.”

Hide kisses him again. Kaneki tries not to cry out with excitement, and this makes Hide even happier.

This is a happy moment, and if he has his way, Kaneki will have many more.
