Houji/Tatara

There was one time Houji caught Tatara. It was shortly after he’d betrayed his lover, leading to the downfall of Che Shi Lian and the deaths of Yan and Fei. Right before Houji left the city, Tatara – not in an emotional state to think clearly – attacked, and this led to his capture by CCG.

They wanted to take him back for interrogation in Cochlea. The investigators were discussing their plans to make the ghouls they’d killed into quinques, and excited to see what would happen to Tatara once he was executed.

And Houji remembered the night Tatara first showed him his kagune, and that he was a ghoul, and that Houji’d been overcome with emotion partially because he loved that Tatara trusted him and he loved Tatara, but also because he knew this meant his suspicions were correct, and that he’d have to betray Tatara.

So Houji may have freed Tatara. Tatara may have tried to kill him, but didn’t. He’s never been sure why. Maybe he just didn’t want to lose anyone else at the moment.

Arieto

Arima had just been disciplined by Tsuneyoshi for a mistake on a mission that led to another ghoul escaping. He’d never really messed up before, and the consequences was a long lecture on what a damned failure of a half-breed he was, and a black eye. And a stern order not to return until his eye had healed.

Eto visited him that night – they’d arranged weekly trysts by that point. When she saw Arima, she was, as you may imagine, pissed. He had to talk her out of taking Tsuneyoshi’s head. She then decided to remind him that he was the only investigator who had beaten her, an unusual subject for prideful Eto to bring up.

Arima teased her about actually caring for him, and she retorted that by letting her live he might actually feel the same. Maybe. She then seduced him, used her regeneration to heal his eye, and left him the next morning.

Tsuneyoshi had expected Arima to be missing for a day or two. He was vexed to see Arima back that morning, and Arima just had to text Eto a play-by-play, much to her amusement.

Suzuhan

After dragon, Suzuya was afraid to talk to Kaneki. He knew he done fucked up, if you will.

Hanbee finally went to Kaneki himself, apologized, and they had a long talk. At the end, Hanbee led Kaneki to Suzuya’s house with the rest of S3. Kaneki and Suzuya forgave each other, and Hanbee was thrilled.

Suzuya asked Hanbee why he’d done that, and Kaneki said something like “I thought it was obvious he loves you.”

Hanbee promptly shrieked.

Suzuya tiptoed up to him and asked if that was true.

Hanbee admitted it was, and profusely apologized as if loving Suzuya was worse than trying to kill Kaneki. But then Suzuya tackled him in a kiss. Kaneki’s sole vengeance was texting a photo of their kiss to the rest of S3.

Since there’s a thunderstorm happening where I am today, could I request michizurou and the Suzuya Squad to comfort Mizuki during a thunderstorm please?

Mizuki squeaks as lightning flashes outside her window. “It sounds so angry!”

“It’s okay,” Michiko assures her daughter. “It can’t hurt you.”

Thunder claps down upon them, and Mizurou winces.

“It hurts my ears!” Mizuki claps her hands over her ears.

“I know, sweetie.” Mizurou wraps his arms around her. “I’ll text and ask if any of our Uncles have earplugs.”

A minute and two more thunder crashes later, Mikage soars into Mizuki’s room. “I have earplugs!”

He’s so proud of himself. Best Uncle Points for earplugs? Amazing.

“I hate thunder too,” Hanbee says from behind Mikage. “I know how you feel, Mizuki.”

“You do?” She sniffles. “But you’re so brave, Uncle Hanbee.”

Mikage narrows his eyes. Oh, so now empathy matters more than earplugs?

“I actually like thunder,” sings Suzuya as he saunters in. “It’s exciting. Think of it as the sky having a tantrum.”

“It’s actually a problem with the expansion of air in clouds,” Keijin says, squeezing his way in with a brand new science book for kids. He’s been holding onto this book, waiting for this moment, to be the best Uncle. “Wanna read?”

Mizuki nods eagerly.

“Can we take turns?” Mikage asks desperately.

Michiko winks at Mizurou. Indeed, the Uncles are falling over themselves to win over their daughter.

Good. She deserves the best.

Since it’s Mizurou’s birthday, I’d love to see how Mizuki, Michiko, Mayuzumi, and the Suzuya Squad help him celebrate!

“Hanbee The Kitten and Furuta The Rat.”

The new animal sidekicks that will be joining the GOAT kids in my new fic that’s coming soon!

Hanbee and Furuta are Mizuki Tamaki’s pets and close companions, they almost never leave her side!

Furuta was the first to join them when Mizuki and Juuzou rescued him from nearly becoming snake food at the pet store! Though not everyone took a liking to him right away when he first came home. He’s one cheeky rodent as he’s always trying to manipulate innocent Hanbee into mischief to get a laugh (especially when there’s food involved.) However, despite his sneaky antics, it’s clear that he’d never do a thing to hurt Mizuki or Hanbee…at least not on purpose.

Hanbee, on the other hand, was a stray that Mizuki found on the street one day. A nervous and uneasy kitten, jumping at the sound of a pin drop, he found it comforting to have Mizuki around as she always makes sure he’s taken care of. But the Suzuya Squad had also taken a liking to him and were all thrilled when he was honoured with a noble name! (Nakarai took a little more time to accept it.) Hanbee also found friendship with Furuta, who was not afraid of him in the least, making them inseparable. This new iconic duo even joins the GOAT kids on their journeys, even if Hanbee would rather be safe and curled up in someone’s lap having a nap.

Can you do hcs for Hanbee where he watches a horror movie with his so and his so isn’t scared but he is and he’s nervous to ask if he can cling to them! I love my y’all quiet baby.

Hanbee is inherently lovable.

– Hanbee first pretends he’s not afraid at all, until he feels beads of cold sweat appearing on his forehead.

– His s/o feels him flinch as the creepy clown pops out of the drain, and they begin to hope he’ll ask to cuddle.

– His kids are raised on Star Wars and Star Trek.

– His partner managed to convince him to wait to show them The X Files until they are much older.

1. Hanbee Abara

– He tries to pretend he isn’t, but he’s so obviously distressed that Suzuya calls the entire squad in to comfort him.

2. Washuu Matsuri

– He was much more vocal about his fear as a child, but as it turns out, those were the few times Yoshitoki would create safety forts with him. He felt loved during thunderstorms, despite his fear.

3. Kirishima Ayato

– Only as a child. Touka would tease him relentlessly, and even now, during a storm, she mentioned his terror to Hinami and embarrassed our favorite edge lord.

4. Mutsuki Tooru

– He is not a fan. Urie lends him earphones to tune it out.

When uncle Hanbee catches a cold, Mizuki wants to help him get better by bringing him presents or (to try) assisting the other Suzuya squad members.

“I got you a present, Uncle Hanbee.”

“Oh?” Hanbee pushes himself up, smiling as much as his sore throat will allow.

“Yes.” Michiko and Mizurou’s kid totters in, holding glass jar. “I caught you a spider!”

Hanbee wants to scream, but he settles for a “Oh, how nice.”

“Here you go.” The child takes it out of the glass and places it on Hanbee’s arm. “I named it after you. Hanbee Jr.”

“How nice,” Hanbee repeats, but now there are tears in his eyes.

“Are you crying?”

“Can you get your mom to give me my medicine?” Hanbee asks, not wanting to offend Mizuki.

Mizuki nods and runs off.

Michiko shakes her head a few minutes later. She removes the spider from Hanbee’s arm, laughing the entire time.

Meanwhile, Suzuya is about to lead his Squad on a mission to reports of another ghoul hunting humans.

“Wait for me!” Mizurou spends around to see his daughter running after them. “I want to fill in for Hanbee!”

“Michiko.” Mizurou calls his phone. “Can you pick up our daughter, please.”

He pauses. “She did WHAT to Hanbee?!”

Do you think the juuzou is organized or does it make everything a messy? Well I always thought he is mess and hanbee and the others have to clean everything hehe

I think everything is a giant mess for Juuzou. And sticky with melted candy, so at least his office and room smell sweet.

Sometimes his candy wrappers attract ants. He watches them, fascinated, and even names a few.

Then Hanbee walks in, screams, and leaps into Suzuya’s strong arms.

They then call in the cleaning squad (Miyuki and Keijin) to do a thorough scourge.
