Can you please write hidekanetou where Touka and Kaneki spoil Hide and Hide is unaware of it?

Yes indeedy.

Hide arrives home to see a delicious latte on his kitchen counter. Odd, he thinks, but damn does it smell good.

For you, Hide, reads a note besides it. Typed, so he doesn’t recognized the handwriting, but at least it’s meant for him.

A sip reveals that it’s the most delicious coffee he’s had in years.

Huh. Well, Hide is all for Random Acts of Kindness. Heaven knows he’s done it to Kaneki enough times.

Hide trudges to his refrigerator, where all he’ll find is bread and not much else.

To his surprise, a giant cheeseburger sits on his top shelf.

Hide’s gashed lips fall open. A cheeseburger? Someone got him a cheeseburger? God, he hasn’t had one of these in forever.

Pulling out the cheeseburger, Hide sees a cupcake behind it. The sweet is decorated with yellow frosting as bright as the sun.

A smile blooms on his face. My friends are the best.

He’ll investigate later. Right now, he’s going to enjoy his treats.

Outside his window, Touka high-fives Kaneki. “You know your friend pretty well.”

“We both used to love cheeseburgers,” Kaneki admits.

Touka sighs. “I am pretending I’m eating that cake. And that it’s good.” She freezes. “What if he does’t have the chance to eat it because he’s too full from the cheeseburger?!”

“Well, at least the coffee was from both of us.” Kaneki draws her closer to him. For now, that Hide is happy is enough for he and Touka.

Kaneki responds to Mutsuki’s letter/bait and meets him at the Chateau in hopes of rescuing Yoriko. He’s overcome with emotion as all the memories he had there in the past well up inside him making him falter in his initial mission and Mutsuki is overjoyed at seeing his beloved former mentor again, thinking he can be further sustained with the knowledge that his Sensei still feels something for him and the other Q’s since the thought of them made him cry

*weeps*

“Sensei!” Mutsuki rushes up to Kaneki and throws his arms around the One-Eyed King, his enemy, the liar who loves him. “You came!”

“Of course I did, Mutsuki.” Kaneki swallows and brushes Mutsuki’s pale hair out of his eyes. “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine.” Mutsuki’s eyes gleam.

“You’re not. Let me help you, Mucchan.” Kaneki wraps his arms around Mutsuki. “I never meant to hurt you. I never meant to abandon you.”

“Then why did you?” Anger wells up in Mutsuki, but he can’t bear to pull out his knife and stab Sensei. He’s just…angry. And sad. He wants a tighter hug.

“Because I had to. If I – If I told you what happened with Arima, no one would believe me. But it’s the truth, I swear.” There’s something about Mutsuki that convinces Kaneki that he can tell Mutsuki the truth. That he didn’t kill Arima. He couldn’t.

“Tell me,” says Mutsuki softly, but he’s already guessed. Sasaki isn’t a killer. Unlike him.

And yet, someone good and pure, a good and pure liar like Sensei, thinks he’s worthwhile. He, a wicked and selfish liar. Mutsuki blinks back tears.

Sensei believes in him.

Somehow, this makes him want to listen. To avoid the knife. To talk more. To sustain him.

Because all he’s really wanted is acceptance, and he has that now.

crack head cannon: ken kaneki’s full name is kenneth kaneki and touka calls him kenneth when she is mad, annoyed, or as a last resort when she repeatedly tries to get his attention. Quinx squad witness it for the first time and they think its the funniest shit cause he’s never heard of sasaki’s real full name before that.

“I’m hungry,” Touka mumbles, rubbing her swollen belly. She reclines on the sofa in the Chateau, feeling like a beautiful whale. She’s eight months pregnant and not very happy right now. But Saiko and Hsaio just did her toenails, and she’s never had nail polish before.

Mutsuki leaps to his feet, but Touka shakes her head. “Let Ken handle it.”

Kaneki is conferring with Higemaru and Urie across the room.

“Ken?” Touka calls.

He doesn’t appear to hear over Higemaru’s excited chatter.

“He’s literally showing Kaneki his monster drawings,” Aura says.

“Ken.” Touka narrows her eyes and clears her throat. “KENNETH!”

Kaneki jumps. “Touka? Is it time? What’s wrong?”

“I want Rc chips.” Touka pouts.

“Coming right up!” He putters into the kitchen, and Saiko finally releases her peals of laughter.

Kenneth?” Aura cries in disbelief. “You’ve got to be shitting me.”

“Like the Barbie doll?” Urie grins wickedly.

“Yup.” Touka holds a finger to her lips. “Don’t tell him I told you.”

So of course, the moment Kaneki hurries back into the den, all the Quinx chime in, “Hiiiiiii Kenneth.”

HI! Hope you had holiday season! I was wondering what do you think Tokyo would look like if Aogiri Tree had won control in the Original Tokyo Ghoul? And what effect do you think it would of had on the main cast. Just curious and wanted your thoughts. Thank you.

Oooooh.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday too!

– Ayato would eventually grow disillusioned with Aogiri, just as he did in Re, and come back to Touka and Hinami.

– I’m unsure if Hinami would still join them or not. If they seemed to be abusing their power, she might not.

– Arima and Eto would continue plotting how to take down the Washuus, but Furuta might try to infiltrate Aogiri, too. We all know he’s masterful enough to do it.

– Kaneki might still be taken by CCG and used as a pawn against ghouls. He’d still become Haise.

– Kimi and Nishiki might be able to stay together, and she’d still probably try to promote interspecies peace. This would still entail her cooperating with Aogiri, for better or worse. I’m not sure how well they’d react to her attempts to cure the ghouls’ need for human flesh, so that might need to be kept secret.

– Touka would still start Re. She’d probably try to learn to help humans, starting with Yoriko. She might be able to continue being friends with Yoriko.

 – Akira’s still gonna have that hatred of ghouls. It would still probably take Amon and Seidou’s conversion into ghouls for her to wake up that not all ghouls are bad.

– Uta would still be enjoying the chaos with the rest of the clowns – perhaps a bit more freely.

tl;dr – I think most characters would still wind up in the same places, just by slightly different journeys. 🙂

MAYBE IRIMI AND KOMA WOULD STILL BE ALIVE THOUGH BECAUSE FURUTA WOULD KILL HUMANS INSTEAD OF GHOULS OH WAIT THAT IS NOT BETTER NOPE

i am not really up to date with TG, but i remember Uta saying he felt lonely and does not like being alone? any ideas why hes so scared of being alone? Do you think he might have lost someone or something of the sort? Or is it just cause he has no one to talk to besides yomo and kinda itori? Or do you think its cause of his dangerous lifestyle? Do we have any clues or answers to that by now?

Hmmmmmmmmmm

Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

We don’t have much actual information, other than that he does decide to risk his life to save Yomo from Souta/Furuta/Kichimura’s plan (alongside Itori), even though the Clowns are technically Furuta’s co-conspirators. So Yomo and Itori are clearly two people he definitely cares about.

I actually think that he is probably alone and scared because he’s harboring an enormous secret. Perhaps he’s an escaped garden ghoul, as I’ve seen theorized but can’t recall where I’m sorry. Perhaps he’s one of the kids seemingly spawned from the enormous kagune below the 24th ward, though they more resemble Itori than Uta:

Orrrrrr, there’s a growing body of evidence that he may be the original One-Eyed King, a la @midnight-in-town’s theory and Ishida’s suspicious birthday art.

If that’s the case, he’s much, much older than he appears, epically failed at his original goal to help ghouls, and also, is being hunted by his Washuu relatives. I imagine that could conspire to make him very lonely. I mean, how do you tell people all that?

But for now, dear Nonny-Mouse, I earnestly await more Uta reveals alongside you. 🙂

I have an weird ship about Oneshot!Kaneki and TokyoGhoul!Touka, if it’s possible can i have hcs on them?

– Oneshot!Neki really enjoys Touka stroking his eight-pack. And she really enjoys it too.

– He’s still a boobs man, and still left in aw at Touka’s ukaku agility.

– Touka still fell for him the day she attacked the doves. Oneshot!Neki told her he’d care if she died, and that he would have helped her come up with a better plan to kill them so she wouldn’t risk herself.

– Oneshot!Neki fell for Touka one day when she confronted him about killing people. She asked if they were both bad for killing people in anger and suggested that they should try to never kill people again. He that they would work together to avoid killing in general, but it might sometimes be necessary if CG came for them. He admired this ghoul who dared him to kill even less than he already did.

– Oneshot!Neki teases Touka back a lot more than TG!Neki. They sometimes have food-throwing contests when no customers are in.

– Touka teases him endlessly on his fake smile. She can tell when he’s genuine and when he’s not, and to him, this is one of her most treasured characteristics.

auntie koharu telling masanori and miki embarrassing stories about their dad when he was younger and ui is absolutely horrified

Koharu is from @koyuki-tan‘s “Peace Sign.”

“Hey kids, want to hear about the time Daddy was trying to cook for Mommy?” Koharu smiles and smoothes her hair.

“Yesssss.” Masanori rubs his hands together. Miki bounces up and down.

“Well, he wanted to make er a birthday surprise. What actually happened was he tried to make melon buns.” Koharu leans forward. “But Mommy got off work early that day. She entered the door and – whoosh! – he was so surprised he spilt the sticky mix right on her.”

She’d then come in to find them taking a shower together, but the kids didn’t need to know that part.

“When he was reaaaaaally young, like your age, Miki, he also tried to cook. He wanted to make ramen for me and him.” Koharu smirks. “But we didn’t have noodles. So I took worms and old him they were noodles, and he served it to our whole family.”

Masanori giggles. “Then what happened?”

“He was the only one who’d taken a bite. Of broth, not even the worms. But he cried, vomited, and ran around screaming for the rest of the night. Oh, I’ve never seen him cry so much or so hard.” Koharu nods as she hears a cough from behind her.

“Why would you tel that story? It’s disgusting!” Ui is properly horrified.

Hairu doubles over with laughter. “Ui, you ate worms?”

“I trusted her!” Ui points desperately at Koharu. His face burns.

“Don’t kiss me tonight,” Hairu says with a wink.

What does Yoshimura think of each of the Antreiku members? I always had a feeling Yoshimura is the kind of guy who silently judges you, but with love

Kaneki Ken – Likes him, though his attitude towards ghouls and eating people is sad at times, even though Yoshimura understands it. He has great hopes for his future.

Kirishima Touka – He adores Touka like she was his own daughter. Her tough attitude might aggravate others, but he knows where it comes from. He worries for her impulsiveness and ships her with Kaneki.

Kirishima Ayato – Misses the kid. Recognizes his angst. Wants him to come home.

Fueguchi Hinami – Concerned about how traumatized she must be. Wants to emphasize her kind spirit to keep her out of trouble.

Yomo Renji – Yomo is his secret keeper. He admires Yomo for turning his life around, yet not entirely working at Anteiku. He thinks Yomo has a soft heart, and he’s right.

Uta – Doesn’t trust him worth a damn, but he’s good for Renji.

Nishiki Nishio – Finally he gets to meet the infamous Nishiki. Concerned about his romance with Kimi and very invested in a happy ending.

Nishino Kimi – Very worried for her romance with Nishiki, but admires her devotion.

Irimi Kaya – his most dependable worker. He thinks she’s brilliant, harsh, and beautiful, like a winter morning. He ships her and Koma.

Koma Enji – his most entertaining worker, and a good friend. When are he and Irimi going to get together?

….Yoshimura as Obi-Wan and Kaneki as Luke? I neeeeeeeeeeeeeed more star wars crossovers

“I must be one or the other!” Kaneki Luke cries.

“No. Only a Sith deals in absolutes. You may be both human, and ghoul,” says Obi-Wan Yoshimura.

—————————————–

“Strike me down, and I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine,” Obi-Wan Yoshimura says to the reaper of death, Darth Arima. All around him, CCG forces gather. He can’t walk away from this. He will die in front of Anteiku…and Kaneki.

Arima’s IXA pierces Yoshimura’s kagune.

“NOOOOOOOOOO!” screams Kaneki, lunging forward into the hands of CCG.

——————————————-

“Did Yoshimura tell you about the One-Eyed King?” demands Darth Arima.

Kaneki clutches the cell door. His eyes are put out. He can’t see, and all they call him is 240. Why does this death god seek him out? “He told me you killed him!”

“No, I am the One-Eyed King.” Arima holds out his hand. “Join me, and we can better the world of humans and ghouls!”

Kaneki shakes his head. He can’t believe himself good enough. And so he falls, falls, falls…into his cell at Cochlea.

—————————————-

“So, you have a friend waiting for you at a cafe. Perhaps I shall target her next.” Darth Arima mocks.

“NO!” Kaneki unfurls his kagune. He and Arima fight madly as Bureau Emperor Tsuneyoshi cackles in the distance.

Finally Kaneki pierces Arima’s armor. Arima falls. His eyes stare up at Kaneki – or one does. His other is blank, as if he cannot see, as if he really is One-Eyed.

Kaneki hesitates. He won’t be like Arima.

“Good, good, let the hate flow through you. Kill him, my new apprentice!” Tsuneyoshi approaches.

Kaneki straightens. Compassion floods his veins. “No. I will oppose you with everything I have.”

“Well then.” Tsuneyoshi begins to transform into an enormous kakuja. He throws Kaneki to the ground.

Against his will, Kaneki screams. Tsuneyoshi is tearing him apart inside – “Arima! One-Eyed King! Help me!”

Arima lunges to his feet, throws himself before Tsuneyoshi. His father’s kakuja digs into his chest.

Suddenly, Tsuneyoshi collapses as a sword pierces his heart.

“I’m sorry,” says Furuta, cheerfully sticking another sword in his father, “did I miss something?”

——————————————

Kaneki drags Arima out of CCG. “I won’t let you die. I will save you!”

“You…already have, my One-Eyed King.” Arima smiles at Kaneki as the light fades from his eyes.

crack head canon: After the club night with everyone dressed as women, the party goers crash in the living room. Urie comes down stairs the next morning and doesn’t recognize anyone except saiko. He asks about what happened and shizaru replies. Relization hits him like a brick and he backs away to his room with a single “forget I even asked”

“L-O-L what even happened last night?” Urie gazes in shock at the ladies Saiko has invited over. “You should have told me you were planning a sleepover.”

“Oh shut up, Urie,” Saiko grumbles, rubbing her eyes from where she’s flopped across an orange-haired girl.

A sexy green-haired woman stretches on the floor, accidentally nudging the pale-haired girl asleep in their chair awake.

“You don’t wanna know,” says the orange-haired woman in Shirazu’s voice.

Urie’s mouth pops open. His eyes bug. That’s Mutsuki on the floor and Sasaki in the chair.

“You should have come with us, Urie,” Sasaki says. God dammit, how does their Squad Leader wear his makeup better than Saiko? And those are definitely fake eyelashes!

Urie’s breath comes quicker. His throat closes. “Ack – forget I asked!”

“Scareeeeeed?” Shirazu teases as Urie flies upstairs.

“Yes!” He screams.
