Ui and Hairu take a shower together ;)

Happy National Uihai Day to you, too. 😉

“Help me, Ui-Wan Kenobi,” says Hairu. She leans her head over his. He’s perched on one of her kitchen stools, looking over their latest case notes.

“Hmm?”

“You’re my only hope.” Hairu tugs him up.

“I think you’re mine.” Ui’s arms encircle her.

“Goody.” Hairu skips away, and, puzzled, Ui follows her into their bathroom.

To his surprise, the room is saturated with steam from the running shower.

“What is this?”

“We need to relax, the both of us.” Hairu pulls off her shirt, and Ui’s pulse races. “Let work go tonight.”

She turns around to unbutton his collar, and Ui has to smile. “Always, for you.”

They step into the shower together. Hairu giggles as water runs down her face. “Ah, so relaxing.”

“You’re more relaxing,” Ui teases.

“Oh?” Hairu smiles coyly.

He runs his hands down her curves. “Yes.”

Ui gasps as Hairu nibbles his chest. “Okay, maybe relaxing isn’t the word.”

“You’re too sexy,” she says, kissing him. “It’s unfair.”

“You’re the sexy one.” Ui knows it’s a lame comeback, but she never seems to mind his lack of creativity. .

She hoists herself onto his hips and wraps her legs around him.

Ui struggles not to fall. And then he’s slipping on soap scum, and they both collapse under a steaming waterfall.

Hairu rolls on top of him. “Now I’ve got you.”

Her hair drips down into his. Ui smiles up at her. stroking her cheeks. Whenever he’s with Hairu, he already feels clean.

Suzuya has a flashback to his days as Rei and is comforted by his squad.

TW for PTSD.

“You’re an artist,” a CCG Investigator says, admiring Suzuya’s efficiently slain victims.

Suzuya pauses.

“He’s an artist already.”

“Rei-chan, you did so well. You get … fifty good boy points!”

Hanbee Abara frowns as Suzuya slips away without saying anything. He’s seen that blank expression before, and usually it ends with Suzuya crying alone in his room. Suzuya thinks his squad doesn’t hear, but they do.

“No one out there will want you, but I do.” Big Madam rubs his hair as he doubles over in pain. Blood seeps out from between his thighs. “Such a good little girl.”

“I don’t want to be a girl,” he whispers to himself.

“Suzuya?” Keijin Nakarai approaches hesitantly.

Suzuya stares at the ground. “I wanted to see the giraffes.”

“Hey.” Mizurou Tamaki snaps his fingers. “Back to present, Suzuya. We’re here.”

“Huh?” Suzuya raises his head.

“Are you okay?” Miyuki Mikage wants to hug him, but he’s not sure physical contact is what Suzuya needs.

“I’m a bad boy,” he says, beginning to cry. “Rei.”

“No. No, you’re not.” Keijin grabs their leader and wrestles him into an embrace. “You’re Juuzou.”

“And we like your name,” says Mikage.

“And we like you,” adds Hanbee, joining the hug.

“We think of you as a good, strong leader boy,” says Mizurou.

“We love you, Suzuya,” Hanbee says.

Suzuya sniffles. His eyes are wide. “Do you?”

“Yes,” declares Keijin.

“I love you all, too.” Suzuya begins to sob. “Can you just – hold me – I miss Shinohara, and sometimes I miss Big Madam – and sometimes I hate myself -”

“We know, we know.” Keijin rocks Suzuya back and forth.

“There’s nothing that’s been done to you that takes away your value,” Mizurou assures Suzuya.

“We love you,” Hanbee repeats. It’s all he can say.

But Suzuya smiles, even if ever so weakly, and Hanbee thinks maybe it’s enough.

I don’t know why but I like to think that when Suzuya’s prostetic leg is at repair he enjoys Piggy back rides.

Omg yas.

“Help me,” Suzuya Juuzou whimpers.

Marude Itsuki scowls, but Washuu Yoshitoki softens. The boy lost his leg and mentor, after all. “Can we do something for you, Suzuya?”

“This wheelchair makes sees the screen very difficult,” Suzuya says. It’s true, though he couldn’t care less about presentations, and these investigators surely know that.

“Well, let’s see.” Yoshitoki waves Tanakamaru Mougan over. “You’re tall and strong. Lift Suzuya on your shoulders so he can see.”

Mougan chokes. “Uh – okay.”

Yoshitoki winks at Suzuya’s thrilled expression.

Maybe not all adults are bad. Suzuya smirks at Marude as Mougan hoists him onto his back.

“This is fun.”

“I’m glad,” Mougan says. Shinohara liked this kid, so now he and Kuriowa  feel obligated to show him some compassion, some guidance.

“What is going on here?” Aura Kiyoko strides up, eyebrows raised. A blonde kid about Suzuya’s age trails behind her.

“I’m paying attention,” Suzuya tells her.

The blonde’s eyes widen. This is Suzuya Juuzou, the one who fought the One-Eyed Owl and lost his leg.

They call him weird, but Keijin Nakarai finds him intriguing.

When the presentation is done, Nakarai offers Suzuya another piggyback ride. “If you’ll let me ask you questions.”

“Of course!” Suzuya giggles and holds out his hands.

How about Tsukiyama going to the hair dresser and his nightmare came true *his bang got cut so short, he looks like a kid*

A crash alerts Mirumo to his son’s presence. “Shuu?”

A blur with Tsukiyama’s cologne streaks by.

“Shuu!”

“Don’t look at me; I’m hideous!” wails the blur. He slamming the door to Shuu’s room.

Matsumae and Kanae exchange glances.

“I’ll check,” Kanae announces.

She knocks on Master Shuu’s door, her ire building. Has someone hurt him? She’ll kill them and feed them to her master for their hubris.

Shuu looks up with a guilty expression.

He has no bangs.

Kanae tumbles backwards. “Hilfe!”

“What’s wrong?” Matsumae barges in, only to freeze at Shuu’s new look. “Oh. Oh my.”

“Don’t say it!” cries Shuu. “I’m a laughingstock!”

“I’m not laughing,” Kanae protests.

“I am.” Chie Hori shoves her way inside, snapping pictures.

“Can you not?” Kanae snaps.

“I am humiliated!” wails Shuu. “I am a disgrace! How will I ever grace the outside world again?”

“We’ll tell you Kaneki’s outside and you’ll go,” Kanae says dully.

He brightens. “Is he?”

Kanae scowls. “No.”

He looks like a disappointed child, and it’s all she can do not to hug him.

ui realizing how much he loves hairu after her death

Omg the pain

How am I giving orders right now? Ui Koori stares at First Class Ihei Hairu’s remains. Her head lies severed a few feet from her body.

He needs her. He frowns, surprised by the force of his emotion.

He needs to go back in time, to stop this injustice. To keep Hairu alive.

“These melon buns are delicious,” he says, and she giggles.

“That’s why I brought you here, silly. They’re the best in all Tokyo!”

Her hands brush his, and warmth springs into his belly, back then and even now.

Ui gapes at her corpse.

I love her.

I love her, and I didn’t even realize.

He feels as if he hasn’t understood death, nor loss, until now. She should not be fallen. He needs a chance – a second chance – to set things right! To face his feelings.

Ui isn’t much of a praying person, but he finds himself supplicating every deity he can think of for this second chance.

I’ll do anything to hear her laugh again.

So when Nimura Furuta holds out that beautiful preserved head a few months later, he will tell himself it is an answer to prayer. He will hold fast to this chance.

shironeki x oc, slight after yamori’s torture pls? they were both tortured after anteiku raid except she’s less tramautized due to her faith. (optional but she’s a redhead and smaller than him) in a sort of apartment kaneki was lamenting while she comforts him. they make a little love after that.

Oooh this sounds interesting!

“Ken. Please listen to me.” [Name] crouched in front of her lover. Kaneki just sat there on the bed they hadn’t shared in weeks, staring into blank space.

She brushed back her fiery hair. “Ken.”

He gasped at the sight of an angry red scar on her wrist, from the bonds that had trapped her.

Just another reminder of someone who’d suffered because he hadn’t been stronger.

“Ken,” she repeated. “I love you. I’m okay. You should worry about you. Not me. Not Touka or anyone Anteiku. You’re the one we’re worried about.”

Her voice broke slightly. “I love you, Ken.”

“Mom loved me too,” he muttered.

“And now she’s dead. I might die too. I see why that bothers you.” She blinked back tears. “But you’re not the one who gets to decide our fate. Who we sacrifice for. We do. And we want to sacrifice for you. I would have rather suffered all those days with you than leave you alone. I’m glad I was there.”

“[Name], no.” Kaneki drew her close to him.

“It’s true.” She leaned her head on his chest, listening to his steady heart. “You know, even if I died, I’d find a way not to leave you.”

“I want you to be safe.”

“I want you to be safe. But the truth is no one is. All we can do is embrace each other and keep trying to make the world safer, for everyone. Right?” [Name] smiled through her tears.

Kaneki nodded slowly.

“It wasn’t your fault, Ken. It never was. Nothing that has ever happened to you has been your fault.”

He choked back a sob, but let her cuddle him.

Before Kaneki knew what he was doing, his lips found hers, and her hands snuck under his shirt.

He pulled [Name] onto the bed. He wants her to drown in her love.

[Name] would say that’s not good. But it’s better than he was, because at least he recognizes her love.

Koma buys Irimi a doberman puppy to mock her mask but she loves it. Bonus if the dog grows up and Koma is scared of it (sorry for being late, but i’m s h o o k)

I’m shook too. I’m dying of shook. Shooken to levels of hell I didn’t foresee. *falls to knees screaming ‘WHYYYYYYY’*

“Koma, what the hell is that?” Irimi Kaya knows exactly who put the wriggling, living box on her doorstep. “Get out from wherever you’re hiding.”

Koma peeks out of her shrubberies. “I saw it and thought of you.”

“Hmm.” Irimi eyes him and opens the box tentatively.

A doberman leaps out to slurp her face.

image

Irimi gasps, that soft little breath that Koma adores. “You didn’t.”

“Since you can’t wear your mask anymore, I thought it would be a decent substitute.” Koma smirks.

“Not a giveaway at all,” she agrees.

He leans against her door, watching her snuggle the puppy. “Gotta admit, I’m a little disappointed you’re not offended.”

“I’ll only be offended if you don’t help care for Yoshimura,” Irimi snaps, holding out the puppy.

Koma’s eyes moisten. “Of course.”

After a year, however, when the puppy is full grown, Koma kinda fears it.

He knows its illogical. He’s a ghoul, for heaven’s sake. He can regenerate any lost tissue.

But some nights he awakes with Irimi snuggled against his skin, and Yoshimura is eyeing him from the foot of their bed. Drooling with hunger. A ghoul’s hunger.

“Kaya,” he whispers, poking her awake.

“Heh?” Irimi blinks the dim room into focus. Yoshimura is indeed watching Koma with the suspicion of a CCG investigator.

She suggests this to Koma, who has to laugh.

“Yoshi, sleep,” Irimi calls, snapping her fingers.

The dog settles down at Irimi’s feet. But its eyes remain fixed on the man in mommy’s bed.

Hello again! Can you do Rin meeting Haise (post auction arc) and giving him the answers to his forgotten past, including their relationship? (I’m going to be taking liberties with Re) More brother/sister fluff. I miss that banana-loving, pun master of a dork….. (A little more in Rin, she’s matured over the last few years, but remains, optimistic, cheerful, a bit of the loud and comical side with a short temper when you push the right buttons. Despite being younger, she’s protective of Ken)

I’m borrowing your phenomenal description of Sasaki for this.

“Yo, Sasaki.” A pretty young woman who looks nearly like his mirror image waves at him. “Have time for some coffee, you banana-loving pun master of a dork?”

“Who are you?” Haise Sasaki blinks.

“My name is Rin.” She motions him inside the cafe. “I’m your friend, though you don’t know me.”

Sasaki chuckles. “You can’t be.”

“I can.” Her eyes are sad, and Sasaki feels a mist of near-recollections, as if he recalls hugging her at age ten when their mother died.

Huh? He blinks. Where did that thought come from?

The girl smiles. “Let’s do a thought experiment. You try to remember your past. Just try.”

“I don’t need to.” Sasaki sits down to ensure she isn’t a ghoul about to devour everyone in this cafe.

“Yes, you do.” Her eyes flash. What have they done to brainwash him so? And yet he seems happy…

“Why do you look sad?” Sasaki frowns. Is she mentally ill?

“I would do anything to have protected my brother.” She grips a cup of steaming coffee. “I’m human, but he’s a ghoul. You’re an investigator. Do you know how that happened?”

“I’ve never heard of that.”

“Well, now you have. It’s quite the tale.”

“Do tell.” Sasaki leans forward. CCG may need to know of this.

She describes horror after horror – a binge-eating ghoul preying on her brother, his experimentation by a rogue doctor, his torture and descent into madness, his capture by CCG.

“What is his name? I can see if he’s still in Cochlea.” Haise feels sorry for her and the brother.

“His name is Kaneki Ken.”

Haise freezes.

Kaneki…Ken…Kaneki, Kaneki, Kaneki…his name is Kaneki, my name is Kaneki.

“You’re my brother. And you’re alive. And I love you, and I’m sorry I failed you.” Rin throws her arms around him.

Sasaki begins to shake. “No – no – I can’t -”

“You are, and I need you to be both my brother and the happy person you are here. Kaneki didn’t feel loved, so he was never happy. But I loved him, and he had a human friend named Hide who would move heaven and earth for him, and ghouls who followed and loved his kindness and meekness. We all still love you, and you can be happy.” Rin grips his arm. “Please remember me.”

And for a moment, he does let himself remember.

hairu discovers memes too

“First Class Ihei, what say you?” Arima smiles at her.

Hairu beams back. “The ghouls will respond like this!”

She holds out her phone.

image

“We’re the second picture, obviously.”

“I see.” Arima struggles not to laugh. Shio, Rikai, and Yusa are lost causes.

Hirako snickers. “Sounds like we all agree.”

As they rise from their meeting, Hairu adds, “Arima, have you ever played with memes? They’re so funny.”

“Do explain,” Arima says.

“Okay. For today, I will only communicate in memes!” Hairu cheers. “It’s the cleverest form of communication.”

“You’re the clever one,” Ui says lightly.

Hairu’s eyes light up. She taps something on her phone and holds it up for Ui.

image

“Yes, I do.”

“Okay, boo,” Hairu sings to Ui, who blushes.

When they return, Kijima approaches.

Ui scowls, and Hairu grips his hand.

She hasn’t held his hand before. His eyes widen.

“Both of you are wanted in Hirako’s office,” says Kijima.

“Cool.” As soon as his back is turned, Hairu unveils another meme.

image

UI doubles over laughing. When they arrive in Hirako’s office, he sees a very smug grin on their colleague’s face.

“Our youths have their own memes. I hope you haven’t missed your phone too much, Ui.”

Ui gasps. He hadn’t even noticed – he was focused on Hairu.

Hirako wiggles his eyebrows.

In a fit of giggles, Shio holds out Ui’s phone to Hairu.

I loved the Mutsuki x Kaneki/Sasaki one! Could you do a scenario of Sasaki/Kaneki and Urie getting together?

Thank you! ❤

FYI, this is an AU where Kaneki is not in love with Touka.

“I’m sorry I wasn’t there.” Kaneki stares at his hands. “When Kuriowa – ”

He chokes up. Urie sits on a cot in the 24th ward. Hide – Hide – is alive and at CCG, if Kaneki will only go to him.

But he’s scared.

“Everyone says they’re sorry, but that doesn’t change that Takeomi doesn’t have a father and I was the only one who could prevent it.” Urie shakes his head.

“You did all you could. From someone who often didn’t.” Kaneki smiles sadly.

“I wasn’t very nice to you, was I?” Urie sighs. “I’d like to apologize for that.”

“You’ve changed a lot.” Kaneki sits beside him. “You’re brave enough to say sorry to your former leader. I’m not even brave enough to apologize to my best friend.”

“That’s preposterous!” Urie huffs. “And exactly like you.”

“We both like avoiding things. Maybe that’s why we didn’t get along?” Kaneki raises an eyebrow.

“Probably.” Urie has to laugh. “You know, I was always jealous. How does a ghoul get all the promotions I wanted? That sort of shit.”

“I was always jealous of the strong ghouls here.” Kaneki swallows. “Touka told me I never needed to change for other people once. I think I should have listened to her, but how can I, when the world requires this of me?”

“The world is unfair.” Urie shrugged. “If you want tons of advice, I’m not your guy. I am, however, your friend, and I would rather Haise Sasaki not change.”

“I’m not Haise. Haise was me minus … trauma, I guess.” Kaneki’s eyes fill with tears.

“Haise was your soul. Whoever you were before shit started. Like me, before my dad died.” Urie swallows the lump in his throat. “Right?”

Kaneki nods. He doesn’t look like a father figure to Urie, not anymore. He looks like his friend, a scared friend.

“Don’t hate me for asking,” Urie begins cautiously. “But may I kiss you?”

“Me?” Kaneki blinks.

“You need to be reminded that even at CCG, people still love you. When you return, I’ll be by your side…in multiple ways. If you’ll have me.” Urie flushes.

“Urie.” Kaneki had never realized before how much he cared for Urie, or why Urie’s rejection hurt so much.

He leans over to kiss Urie.
