Ukaku – The Heartbreaker to CCG, with a mask made to look like a broken heart. Yuuma is 24 and fond of clubs and kisses. He is less fond of love, but he does find Midori intriguing. 

Koukaku – Osamu, a scruffy 15-year-old kid who tries to help homeless humans on the days he’s not getting into street fights. He may occasionally break up any bullying he witnesses, too. 

Rinkaku – Saburo, 32. From his name, he surmises that he once had a family. He grew up an orphan, though, and channeled his loneliness into art. He makes art with his detachable rinkaku and sells it to other ghouls. Itori has bought his art a number of times.  

Bikaku – Dai, 41, the father of Rin, desperately searching for his daughter. His wife and son aren’t the same without Rin. He’s lived his life unscathed by the investigators prowling around, and now for the first time is experiencing the pain they can cause. 

Ukaku: known as Damselfly to CCG, Rin is only 13. She was caught trying out her wings one day in an alley. She ran away to keep her family from being caught. She hopes to return to them someday. Rate C. 

Koukaku: Emi is 40 and battle-scarred. SS rate. She gets a new tattoo from Uta for each battle she wins. She also takes care of street children, provides them temporary shelter whether ghoul or human, and gets along well with Yoshimura. Her Koukaku is a fearsome, golden weapon most officers don’t want to face.

Rinkaku: Midori is a 19-year-old edge lord who occasionally uses her rinkaku to hug herself. No one knows her real name, not even herself. She loves making herself sound angrier and more bitter than she actually is. But Uta’s seen her smiling at rainbows or small children, though he won’t tell her secret. 

Bikaku: Hitomi was a member of the Sunlit Garden with an extremely powerful bikaku who liked to train with Arima. Yoshitoki, her childhood friend, persuaded his dad to let them marry to keep her from the fate that befell most female ghouls in the Sunlit Garden. She died shortly after giving birth to Matsuri, after making Yoshitoki promise to change the Garden. He did not exactly keep this promise, and hates himself for it – but that is why he allowed Arima to continue his dealings with Eto even after finding out. 

Real name: Watanabe Tarou

179 cm, 17 years old. 

Tomcat likes to fancy himself tough, like his name. He’s actually more akin to a pampered housecat. 

He’s from a wealthy family, and has never really done his own hunting.

Short black hair, square jaw, lithe. Handsome and he knows it; hence, a slight smirk wherever he goes.

He joined the ghoul restaurant and immediately set about trying to be the bigger gourmet than Tsukiyama. He failed miserably because a) he freaked out at seeing people killed, and b) he rather liked the restaurant’s pets and decided he wanted to adopt them all rather than eat them. 

He views Aogiri as a nuisance disrupting his fine life. However, he also tracks the career of Juuzou Suzuya since he had heard of him in the restaurant, and that is slowly changing his snobbish attitude. For instance, he sent his adopted pets to the CCG (blindfolded so they wouldn’t know how to get back to his place). 

Later, he will help fund GOAT. 

Real name: Suzuki Misaki 

Gator Gal is, hmm, not your average ghoul. She’s 22 years old, 183 cm, and broad of shoulder. And she can totally kick your ass, but she won’t kill you. S rate.

Despite the height and strength, you’d be confused if you saw her without her classic gator mask. Her hair is long and black, and usually worn in childlike pigtails. Her skin is surprisingly ashen, her cheeks gaunt. She looks ill overall, so most people wouldn’t suspect her of being a ghoul. 

This is actually a tactic of Misaki’s. She grew up in an abusive environment, and learned quickly that being weak earned her more kindness than being strong. So even though she is now physically strong, she pretends to be weak.

She likes poetry, the sound of running water, kindness. She will offer strangers change and pay them unsolicited compliments. 

She once encountered Amon Kotarou as a normal citizen. He was polite to her, and thus she tries to avoid killing CCG officers in case they too are nice people like Amon. 

She probably befriended Rize because no one else would.
