A scenario where Hige feels guilty that she’s still 16-17 and he’s almost 20

“Heard you have a birthday in a few months.” Hakatori grins across the booth. Her fingers latch onto her coffee.

“Finally, legal adulthood,” Higemaru says dreamily. He pauses. “Wait. But you still have-”

“Two and a half years,” Hakatori confirms.

Higemaru slumps. He can’t…well, dating a minor isn’t exactly a trivial thing. “Does it bother you?”

“No. I’ve been an adult for years.” Hakatori sips her coffee. “It bothers you?”

“Yeah?” Higemaru says weakly. “I just – I don’t want to seem like I’m taking advantage of you!”

“Hige, right now, neither of us are adults. We didn’t start as an adult preying on a kid.” Hakatori rolls her eyes. “You’re overthinking this too much.”

“Okay, okay.” Higemaru wishes he didn’t care what people thought. Well, he’ll do his best to treat her with respect no matter what. Not that he wouldn’t anyways.

“Besides, your parents approve of me.” Hakatori wiggles her eyebrows. “Kaneki and Touka, Urie and Mutsuki, and your biological parents.”

Higemaru chokes on his coffee. “So I have three sets of parents now?”

“Yup.” Hakatori nudges her foot against his. “And, just so we’re clear, I want them as my parents, too.”

Higemaru smiles back at her, wondering how he got so lucky.

Lmao virgin old man Uta. Crank scenario when Kaneki and Touka tell Uta she’s pregnant and him being super awkward yet somehow smooth like “oh uh I’m still a vrigin” and yomo is there for some reason and no one knows what to say so touka blurts out something embarrassing about kaneki

“Thanks for rescuing Yomo,” Touka says. She sits besides Kaneki’s bedside in CCG’s infirmary. Yomo stands behind her.

Uta waves his hand. “Of course.”

Touka sighs. She still feels awful for leaving Yomo. Although he pushed it. Although he wanted her to run. “I can’t wait until this baby is born and I can return to guarding my old uncle.”

Kaneki snorts, and Yomo scowls. “Fat chance, kid.”

Uta chokes. “Baby?”

“Yeah.” Touka points at her stomach.

“Kaneki?” Uta’s eyes pop. He doubles over laughing.

“It’s not funny. It’s beautiful,” Yomo snaps.

“It’s funny because I can’t believe you kids had sex before I managed to seduce someone,” Uta jokes.

Yomo pales. Kaneki sits up, looking more alive – with fright – than he has since Dragon. Touka turns bright red.

“What?” Uta demands.

“Gosh, he’s so much more nonchalant about being a virgin than you were, Kaneki,” Touka says.

“Hey,” Yomo whispers. “Uta, why did you rescue me again?”

Brooke is a supporter of Higetori and finds it fun to step up little situations for them to get them together. (Higemaru is her best friend and wants him to be happy)

Brooke *would.*

Based on @koyuki-tan‘s “Peace Sign.”

– First, Brooke needs to investigate this Hakatori. Is she a good match for Higemaru? A coffee date and a girl’s night with the beta-quinx are fantastic ways to analyze this ghoul.

– Brooke will then keep meeting with Hakatori for coffee, but slip Higemaru into their conversations more and more.

– Brooke then sets up a sparring session with Higemaru and Hakatori. Bikaku vs. bikaku. She makes sure to suggest Urie take Mutsuki out earlier that day, so there’s only one bikaku Quinx.

– Brooke knows she needs backup, so Saiko is informed of Higemaru’s crush. Saiko takes the lead encouraging Higemaru to ask Hakatori out, while Brooke continues to play Hige up for Hakatori.

– The moment Higemaru find the courage, Saiko texts Brooke.

– She then texts Hige to tease him mercilessly. This continues for months, until Hakatori takes his phone and teases her back just as mercilessly. It’s a duel of words, and may the best woman win.

Hi! Do you think you could do a scenario involving Etos human s/o (Itami) finding her after her fight with kaneki and his reaction/worry about her injuries. Thank you and have a nice day/night.

“Eto?” Itami knocks on the door to her room. She’s not returning his calls. And the CCG’s covert activity is all in the news.

“Eto.” His voice grows more urgent.

“Mmmph,” he hears from inside.

“Eto, I’ll kick down the door!”

She chuckles.

Rolling his eyes, Itami lunges at the door. It takes him more kicks than he’d like to admit to knock it open. “Eto.”

He gasps. She lies on her floor, missing most of her lower half.

Eto!” he screams, rushing to her side.

“Itami? Oh.” Eto shakes her head. “Sorry you have to see me like this.”

“Don’t be sorry. I just – holy shit, Eto, are you okay?” Itami scoops her off the floor to cradle her in his arms.

“Oh. I’m fine. I’m recovering, see?” Eto wiggles two stub legs.

“That doesn’t look fine,” he growls.

“It will be.” Eto sighs. “Can you make me a bath?”

“Huh?”

“It’s fun to float when you’re missing half your legs.” She winks. “You can join me.”

“I’m not doing anything with you while you’re recovering,” Itami warns, carrying her into her bathroom.

“You’re such a killjoy,” Eto scoffs. “Will you at least kiss me? They say kissing has healing properties.”

Itami struggles to turn on the bathwater, Eto still in his arms.

“Fine,” he grumbles.

“You know you love me.”

“I do. Preferably in one piece.”

Ui is afraid of spiders!

“Oh my god, get it away from me!” Ui bursts out, skittering behind Hairu.

“Huh?” She looks up in puzzlement. “Oh!”

Hairu laughs at the spider gracefully descending from the ceiling. “I think it’s lovely.”

UI shakes his head. “One of you brave ghoul investigators, kill it.”

“Nah,” says Hirako, leaning back in his chair. “Spiders don’t bother me.”

“Are you crazy?” Ui hisses.

“I’m a child and you’re the adult,” Shio protests.

“I like it,” says Yusa.

“Ui, save us,” says Rikai.

Hairu rolls her eyes. “How about I capture it and take it outside?”

It’s weird, she thinks, as she coaxes the creature onto a paper towel. She’s showing more mercy to an arachnid than a ghoul.

She waves the captive spider before Ui, who blanches.

“Can we keep him?” Yusa asks.

“NO.” Ui shivers.

Would he shiver at me? Hairu wonders.

She turns to leave, onto to run into Arima. “Say hello to our spy, Arima!”

Arima scrambles back. “Get – it – away!”

Hirako chortles. “We’ve found Arima Kishou’s secret kryptonite!”

Did you hear the news about tg:re ending after this arc? :(

I did!!!

On one hand, I love TG and I’ll miss waiting for a new chapter (unless part 3 happens, though I’m not sure my heart can handle it lol).

On the other, I’m actually excited. This seems to confirm the theory that :re will go until chapter/bone 206, as has been theorized before. Ishida is meticulous about foreshadowing and lining symbolism up just the right way – more so than any author I’ve known (and only J.K. Rowling comes close). So whatever happens, he’s planned this all out. It’ll end in precisely the way and at precisely the time Ishida always meant it to end.

Let’s treasure this. ❤ And the answers we will (hopefully) soon have!

mizurou and michiko parenting? differences and similarities? how does their daughter view them?

Based on @koyuki-tan‘s “Peace Sign.”

– Mizurou is the fun parent. You want to do wild stunts? He’s enabling you to the fullest.

– Michiko is the responsible parent who occasionally scolds you, but you know she loves you.

– Michiko and Mizurou often take their daughter stargazing. By the time the kid is five, she can name all the major constellations.

– Michiko buys their daughter all the clothes she wants. She loves helping their little girl shop.

– Mizurou buys their daughter all the sweets she wants. He’s ruined her dinner appetite on more than one occasion.

– Their respective squads are very involved in their lives, so their kid has plenty of aunts and uncles.

– Mizurou and Michiko love their little girl fiercely, but they also respect that she’s got to live her own life. So they would encourage any interest she has, regardless of whether they like it or not.

– They’d also probably discourage prejudice against ghouls, because, after all, Michiko is a Quinx.

– Their daughter is a lucky girl. ❤

I just found out that Brina Palencia is the English voice of both Touka and Yuno Gasai – so could you write a scenario where they meet (and for the fun of it, Yuno is an One-Eyed Ghoul in this idea)

I don’t know a lot about Future Diary, so I hope this came out okay! And now I want to watch it. o.O

“Another One-Eyed?” Touka snorts at the pink-haired girl before her, who snaps the scissors she holds.

“I’m Yuno Gasai.” She was escorted to the tunnels of the 24th ward by Naki. She’s not sure she likes it.

“Kirishima Touka.” Touka extends her hand. “Do you want coffee?”

“No.” Yuno doesn’t like the bars on the cells. They remind her of what Mom and Dad used to do. “I’m looking for my friend.”

“What’s their name?” Touka asks eagerly.

“Yukiteru.” Her eyes cool. “I have to save him. From those women.”

Touka feels uneasy. Something about this girl reminds her of Kaneki’s little friend, Mutsuki. “We haven’t seen anyone by that name, but we’ll look for him.”

She hesitates. She wants to understand Mutsuki, and maybe this girl too. “Why are you looking for him? Tell me about him.”

Yuno looks at her with suspicion.

“I love romance stories,” Touka says lightly, showing off her wedding ring.

Yuno brightens. She’s married. This girl isn’t a threat. “He…he’s the only one…who cares about me. He makes me happy.”

“Well, I care for you too,” Touka says.

Yuno grins. “He saved me.” He promised I would be his bride. Me, the murderer.

“My husband saved me, too. And I saved him more than a number of times,” Touka jokes. “I was quite the rampaging hellion when we met.”

The two ghouls laugh. Yuno feels hopeful. If Touka’s husband doesn’t think she’s crazy, there’s hope for her and Yukiteru, right?

She grabs Touka’s hand. “Be my friend.”

Can you write about a ghoul (any rc type, any Gender etc) suddenly trying to kill Touka because she killed an older sibling of theirs? Like, they have a trap-detachment ability with their kagune and attack the strongest first so they can more easily attack Touka (and to her surprise is stronger than her). They hate this “ghouls and humans working together” thing. Humans killed their parents, a ghoul – Touka killed their older sibling. Then they get talked to and maybe hugged bc they need it etc

Ayaka is thirteen years old. That’s old enough to know that humans and ghouls can’t work together. Her parents were just slaughtered by CCG. And years before, that bitch, the cafe manager, killed her older brother.

She won’t say his name until she kills Touka. She’ll scream his name before she strikes that ghoul down.

Because her parents being killed by CCG? That she understands. But a ghoul killing ghouls?

There’s no atonement. They should work with their fellow ghouls, not these shitty humans who will return to slaughtering them as soon as Kaneki is freed.

Goat begins to prepare to advance towards CCG. It’s suicide.

“You can’t be serious!” Ayaka screams suddenly, stepping forward.

Touka looks back with surprise from her position besides those former CCG officials, those humans.

She flies at Touka, using her detachable ukaku to distract. She nearly strikes her, but that stupid blonde human knocks Touka out of the way.

The tall human – the half-ghoul, now – pins Ayaka to the ground. “Kid, don’t make me hurt you.”

Hopelessness wells up inside Ayaka. Tears burn her eyes, but she can’t let them fall. “Why?”

Why has she failed again? Why is the world moving on, asking forgiveness for killers before she has had a chance for vengeance? Why has the world forgotten her?

“No one’s forgotten you,” says Touka, and Ayaka cringes. She’s been speaking aloud all this time.

“You did,” Ayaka accuses. “You killed my brother. Ito Akio. You kicked off his head five years ago.”

Touka blinks. Truth is, she doesn’t remember. But that sounds like her. “I’m so sorry.”

Ito Ayaka…weren’t her parents caught up in CCG’s genocide? Pity stirs in Touka’s heart.

“Fuck your apologies! I want him back, dammit!” Ayaka pounds the ground like a two-year-old. The half-human still holds her down, and she isn’t strong enough to save herself. “Why are we with humans now? We keep forgiving and giving and giving and there’s almost nothing left! I don’t – I don’t want to move on!”

Touka sighs and steps forward. She reaches a hand across to wipe the tears and dirt off Ayaka’s cheeks.

“I was a stupid and wrong as a kid, just like you. And I’m sorry about your brother. I wish I could bring him back.” Touka swallows. “But I can’t. All I can do is say that, if you want to honor your brother’s memory, you should aim for a world where kids don’t resort to violence as teens. So there’s never another one like him.”

“I want him back.”

“Me too,” says Touka, pushing Amon away to grab the girl in an embrace.

Ayaka tries to pull away, then surrenders to sob on Touka’s shoulder.

“You’re gonna be okay,” Touka tells her. “It’s not okay, but you will be.”

Ayaka looks around with a shudder. She suddenly realizes she may have exposed them by delaying.

She’s a monster, too. She expects Goat to be disgusted with her display, or hating Touka.

She sees neither. Just kindness and sympathy, and Yotsume is holding out her hand. Like she has a new family.

Ayaka sobs more, but she allows Goat to continue their march towards CCG, because where else will she go?

And Amon even offers her a piggyback ride to CCG.

She hasn’t forgiven, not yet, but someone else has forgiven her. And that gives her inexplicable hope.

Hakatori meets Hige’s family (like the blood relatives) and is wary of meeting humans

I just love this ship.

“Are you nervous?” Higemaru pulls Hakatori closer so he can plant a kiss on her forehead.

“A little,” she says, her cheeks coloring. “Especially…now.”

Higemaru follows her gaze to the gated mansion he’s always called home. This would be intimidating for anyone, much more a ghoul.

“I’m sorry,” he says nervously.

“It’s not you’re fault you’re rich,” she scoffs, poking his nose. “I just…I’m a destitute ex-terrorist. And a ghoul.”

“And my girlfriend. The girlfriend I love very much,” Higemaru assures her. “I’ll defend you. I mean, you can defend yourself, but I’d like to try, too.”

“I love you,” says Hakatori, shaking her head.

“I love you too,” he sings. They stride up the walkway to the door.

“Is this her?” His mother swings open the door. “Hello, dear!”

To Hakatori’s surprise, Higemom rushes outside to embrace her. “I’m so happy to meet you after all the wonderful things Hige’s told me.”

“Uh, pleasure to meet you too,” says Hakatori uncertainly.

“Come in, come in.” Higemom gestures for them to follow her.

Higedad is a tall, mustachioed man sipping whiskey in their kitchen. He nods at Hakatori. “Pleased to meet you, Tomoe.”

“Call me Hakatori,” she says, extending her hand.

“Of course; it is your nickname.” Higedad shakes her hands without batting an eye at ghoulflesh. Or her black fingernails.

“Can I get you anything to drink? We bought Rc-filled wine,” says Higemom.

“Oh, you didn’t have to.” Hakatori is shocked. They’re…so nice?

“Nonsense. You’re part of the family.” Higemom bustles around, fetching wineglasses.

“Hi.” A pretty woman emerges from the crowd of relatives to extend her hand. “I’m Higemaru’s Aunt Mitsuko.”

“Oh.” Hakatori swallows. The wife of Higemaru’s fireman uncle, the one murdered by Donato Porpora.

“It’s wonderful to see ghouls who are committed and principled like you. I know Hide’s probably told you some things about me, but please don’t think I judge you.” Aunt Mitsuko hugs Hakatori, who is too shocked to return the hug.

Higemaru grins. “See? My family’s great.”

“They are.” Hakatori’s expression grows happier.

Higemaru squeezes her hand and bends over to whisper in her ear. “Maybe someday soon they’ll be your family, too.”
