Could I request a scenario of Furuta with a pregnant s/o? ._./ I’m honestly not sure how he would react

You know just what to ask. I love pregnancy asks. Even though I never want to be pregnant in my entire life.

– For Furuta, your news is a frightening clash of ideas. He knows, deep down, that he really wants a family. And that he likes you.

– But you’re not Rize, and he’s a doomed Washuu, and he’s about to orchestrate the decimation of ghoul/human society.

– His conflicting emotions cause him to freeze at first. How well Furuta counters his inner demons depends how well you know his backstory and are willing to gently but firmly cut through his bullshit, to draw out the real Furuta who wants a child and who likes you.

– If you indeed reach through his bullshit, there’s a high chance of derailing his plans to ‘destroy everything.’ Because now he could have the thing he truly wanted, a family. It’s so tempting for him.

– If you didn’t know he was a half-human, you’re going to find out soon, since you’re carrying a hybrid. TBH, in your initial talk, Furuta might tell you his heritage, hoping you’ll hate him so he can keep being a nihilist.

– Since you don’t, Furuta will look for underground ghoul doctors to help you both. If Tsuneyoshi is alive, he will be terrified of his father finding you.

– You will probably need to cross paths with a prominent ghoul helper: Kirishima Touka. Touka’s smart realism and kindness is probably helpful for both you and Furuta.

– Furuta is going to be very protective of you during your pregnancy. And doting. Very doting.

– He’s scared. Of you. Of the child. Of being a dad.

– As you near the end of your pregnancy, he probably going to be anxious about whether the kid will forgive him for his sins. Especially if they are a girl – he knows he’s been pretty misogynistic, to put it mildly. He’ll worry about their lifespan. He’ll drown and guilt and worry, and therapy is probably good for you both.

– Furuta will probably marry you. He doesn’t want bastard children; he would never do to his child what Tsuneyoshi did to him. You support him in his inner journey to go of the past, and should this child shake his nihilism enough, you might see him try to right his wrongs.
