Hello yes, I am here for this.
Mutsuki and Urie scramble away from the fallen V agents. Mutsuki is stunned by Urie’s kagune skill – of course, maybe he wouldn’t be if he’d been around the Quinx more often these past few months.
“You’re impressive,” Mutsuki says tentatively. “Urie!”
He gasps at Urie’s two kakugans.
Urie drops his eyes.
“You framed out?”
Urie hangs his head and nods. “Saiko saved me.”
Mutsuki’s heart twists. Saiko didn’t kill him. Saiko would never put down a friend. Could he – should he have trusted her?
“You’re not the only one,” he said on impulse.
Urie gasps to see Mutsuki’s eyes – black corneas, red irises. Mutsuki smiles tearfully.
“I wish I could have known,” Urie says. “You’re not alone, Mutsuki. Let me help you. If you can help me.”
“I’m not in much of a position to help anyone.”
“You weren’t at the auction, either, but you did,” Urie says. He bites his lip. “Ever since then I’ve wanted to kiss you.”
Mutsuki blinks.
“I love you, Mutsuki. Tooru.” Urie can’t believe he’s baring his heart right now, during battle. But he needs to live with that chance. “I know you love Sas -”
Mutsuki interrupts him. Feelings fire in his soul, and he plants his lips on Urie’s before he can talk himself out of it. For once, he feels wanted.
Urie kisses him tenderly yet passionately. Mutsuki wraps his arms around Urie and feels Urie’s hands in his hair.
Urie steps back. “Wow.”
