Uta celebrating with his lover after a successful Clowns raid?

“Well, look who beat me home.” Uta closes the door to his apartment with a smile.

His lover rolls their eyes. “Glad to see you alive, too.”

“I never doubted you, that’s all.” Uta crosses to their nightstand and gently lays his mask over theirs.

They dig their fingers into his shoulder. “New piercing?”

“Indeed.” Uta rises and draws this amazing person closer to him. “You want one, too?”

“Yes,” they breathe. “But in my ear.”

“Yes, you’re so tame,” Uta teases.

“Don’t insult me!”

“For a clown, for a clown.” Uta holds up his hands as he dances to the cabinet where he keeps sterilized, special kagune needles and various earrings he’s stolen from the corpses he eats.

He knows his lover won’t like that, though, so he selects an earring he bought for them.

He comes back to them with a smile. “Which ear?”

“Left. Why go right when you have left?”

Uta chuckles. “This is why I love you.”

“I love you, too.” They smile back, but soon they have to look away as he sticks the needle in their cartilage. There’s something spiritual about how they allow him to drive a needle into their flesh.

He’s amused by how squeamish his lover is about their own body. He sticks a needle into his nipple and barely flinches. “Now we have matching earrings. I bought them.”

“So the fierce Uta is a sweetheart after all,” they intone. “Hopefully that piercing doesn’t get in he way of the rest of our night?”

Uta gasps. “Not at all, my dear. Not at all.”
