– Asa loves the weird girls. The sullen goths, the bookworm introverts, the gender nonconforming, the girl too excited about life to fit in with her peers.
– if the person dyes their hair or has piercings, that’s another plus.
– Asa’s earliest memories are parents teaching her painting.
– When her parents were executed by CCG, she was 8. A neighboring ghoul rescued her but thought it would be too dangerous to adopt her.
– Asa then set out on her own to find Uta, her parents’ former leader, the famous artist.
– Uta was horrified that a child viewed him as a role model, but also pleased.
– Asa came out to Uta first. He was very accepting, and made sure she felt supported and encouraged in her life.
– Uta also got Itori to give Asa “the talk.” It was hilarious for Itori and an odd mix of horrifying/fascinating for Asa.
